US citizen dies in Russian attack on Ukraine capital, Kyiv mayor says
(Reuters) -A U.S. citizen died during an overnight air attack on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, the city's mayor said early on Tuesday.
The mayor, Vitali Klitschko, writing on the Telegram messaging app, said the 62-year-old American was pronounced dead by doctors in the city. He gave no other details.
"During the attack on Kyiv, a 62-year-old U.S. citizen died in a dwelling in the Solomianskyi district opposite where medics were providing assistance," Klitschko wrote. "Medics noted his clinical, biological death."
Officials said Russian forces deployed drones and missiles in the attack on several districts of the capital. Officials said 12 people were injured in the attack.

Senior energy officials and delegates from Asean member states were introduced to the state's vibrant traditions and culture. Fadillah reaffirmed Malaysia's commitment to the energy transition agenda through the expansion of renewable energy capacity, the strengthening of energy efficiency, and the promotion of low-carbon innovations. He expressed his gratitude to the dialogue partners and international organisations for their support, particularly through technical expertise and investment, in helping to achieve shared goals. Renewing the APG memorandum of understanding is one of the two key objectives of the energy meeting here from June 16 to 18, alongside establishing a framework for subsea power cable projects. Aligned with the APG, the first phase of the Laos-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project saw up to 100 megawatts (MW) of hydropower being imported from Laos to Singapore through Thailand and Malaysia via existing interconnectors. MCMC expands cyber safety campaign to schools

Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching said the campaign, launched in January, now targets students to tackle rising online threats like cyberbullying, scams, sexual grooming, exploitation, and data privacy breaches.
