President Donald Trump's military parade is set to take place on the streets of Washington, D.C. on June 14. Some will watch from the nation's capital, while others can watch it unfold live on social media and television.
June 14 will be a busy day as is includes: the U.S. military parade, Flag Day, and the president will be turning 79 years old. And while the military parade isn't officially for the president's birthday, Trump has been pushing for a military parade through the streets of D.C. since his first term.
On June 6, Trump posted a video on Truth Social, inviting Americans to the June 14 parade, which he described as an "unforgettable" celebration, "one like you've never seen before."
Here's how to watch the military parade happening in Washington, D.C.
This military spectacle and unofficial birthday party for the president kicks off on Constitution Avenue near the National Mall and starts at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Events for the 250th birthday celebration of the U.S. Army, which includes the parade, will be livestreamed on all U.S. Army social media platforms.
NBC News, ABC News and CBS News have plans for coverage on their streaming networks. Fox News plans to provide four hours of coverage of the event starting at 6 p.m. ET.
Most local news stations are also planning coverage for the event.

Trump was born on June 14, 1946.
There is expected to be a concert that will feature "5-7 musical acts" with country music performers, not yet identified, according to Axios. But there are some performers that we know will be at the event.
Country singer Scotty Hasting, a former Army infantryman who was wounded in Afghanistan, will be performing during the parade along with Nashville's Noah Hicks.
DJ Nyla Symone, one of New York's youngest DJs, will also perform at the U.S. Army's Grand Military Parade.
Though the "Grand Military Parade and Celebration," is on the same day as the president's 79th birthday, event organizers and administration officials say it is solely to celebrate the U.S. Army.
Vince Haley, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, said that Trump is planning 'an historic celebration of the Army's 250th birthday.'
'As one of the first events of the year-long celebration of our 250th anniversary, this commemorative parade will be a fitting tribute to the service, sacrifice, and selflessness of the brave men and women who have worn the uniform and devoted their lives to defending the greatest experiment in liberty known to man,' Haley said without mentioning the president's birthday in the statement.
Plans for the June 14 parade began in earnest about a month ago. Yet as focus squares in on the U.S. Army's 250 years of existence, other branches are notably left out. The Navy, which also celebrates its 250th anniversary this year in October, has no plans for a similar parade, a spokesperson told USA TODAY. Neither does the Marine Corps, for its 250th in November.
The massive military cavalcade will take place on Constitution Avenue NW near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., specifically between 23rd Street NW to 15th Street NW. A graphic of the complete parade route, created by USA TODAY, can be viewed here:
According to USA TODAY, the latest figures for the cost is around $30 million, a figure that could rise as high as $45 million.
The Army has promised to repair any city streets damaged by the parade, including those caused by the massive tankers rolling through, according to USA TODAY. Cleanup costs and police were not part of the estimate.
There are expected to be military tanks, flyovers and more than 7,000 soldiers marching down the streets of Washington, D.C., including Army parachuters jumping from aircraft, landing and giving Trump an American flag for his birthday, Pentagon officials said, according to Axios.

Thousands converge on Alexandria ‘No Kings' protest against Trump and Army parade; nearby DC is quiet
Thousands converged on downtown Alexandria, Virginia, to protest President Donald Trump and the parade celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, while security kept things under wraps across the river in the District of Columbia ahead of the parade. The loosely constructed "No Kings" movement, notably supported by Walmart heiress Chrissy Walton, planned to hold dozens of protests across the country. And, so far, the protest just out of sight of the White House appeared to be generating a lot of interest. Reports of crowds from 1,000 to 5,000 people, assembled in Market Square in Alexandria, Virginia, to protest the idea that Trump would hold a military parade on what is also his 79th birthday, according to X accounts. Independent Women's Forum official Julie Gunlock shared an accounting of events Saturday, posting a collage on X that featured people waving signs that said "I like my ICE crushed," "King of Farts" and "Happy Obama Appreciation Day." Another X snippet showed a growing crowd in Market Square as the closing bars of the "Star-Spangled Banner" played from a boombox. One protester noted that Alexandria, Virginia, is where Vice President JD Vance's recent private residence was. With US Highway 1 divided into the major north-south streets "Patrick" and "Henry" through downtown and its history as the closest city to George Washington's Mount Vernon estate, references made online described how Alexandria was a fitting place to oppose a supposed king. Accounts described the crowd as largely "elderly" while others contended there were attendees of all ages. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin warned potential troublemakers statewide Friday he had "integrated" the Virginia National Guard with the Virginia State Police to protect life, property and egress on the Commonwealth's roadways. "We cannot allow people to put people's lives in jeopardy by disrupting traffic or anything along those lines," Youngkin told reporters. "And so, if you break the law, you're going to get arrested," he said. "I will protect everybody's constitutional right, but if you break the law, you're going to get arrested." Protests also cropped up Saturday afternoon in Hampton Roads, Virginia, as Trump's parade took shape just across the Potomac River from another counterprotest scheduled in the wealthy liberal enclave of Falls Church, Virginia. The co-organizer of the Norfolk, Virginia, "No Kings" protest said of Trump, "This is not his kingdom. We are not his subjects," in comments to The Virginian-Pilot. "This isn't about politics. This is about honor," another demonstrator told the paper. Paradegoers who spoke to Fox News Digital overwhelmingly reported that they did not expect violence in Washington Saturday, citing the tight security. "There's security everywhere," one paradegoer said. "I would say, you know, it's a big event with everything that's been going on. "I haven't seen many protesters, but I've seen a couple of signs." Another attendee in Washington said the event felt "family-oriented" and safe. Security Saturday included the Secret Service, police officers and military members stationed along entry checkpoints and walking among the throngs of paradegoers. Trump's parade kicked off early, just before 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, with law enforcement vetting people attending with metal detectors and pat-downs. Streets surrounding historic spots near the parade route, like the White House and Washington Monument, were shut down and barricaded to bolster safety. Fox News Digital spotted a handful of protesters carrying signs denouncing Trump as a dictator and Black Lives Matter signs and other messages calling for equality, but crowds surrounding the entry points for the parade were primarily comprised of Trump supporters, veterans, families and others who came out for the patriotic parade. Officials from Walmart reportedly said advertisements from Walton are "in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart."
