, was once speculated to be romantically involved with
Ranbir Kapoor
and

Patel on Ness Wadia
Clearing the air about her alleged romance with Ness Wadia, Ameesha told Filmy Mantra, "Ness and I are family friends of three generations. His grandfather, my grandfather, our parents and now us—we all belong to the same South Bombay circle. These rumours probably came in because Ness is good-looking, eligible, and so am I. People just assumed we were a couple."
She added, "This was way before Preity's thing. We were just 15 or 16. There's no truth to it. We're still very good friends. In fact, Ness's father is the reason I got into Cathedral School. Our families used to go on Christmas holidays together. There are even childhood pictures of us together."

Ranbir
Kapoor link-up
Speaking about the other headline-making rumour involving Ranbir Kapoor, Ameesha revealed that it started because the two were often seen together at high-profile social events.
'There was a year when we were together at a lot of functions—sometimes at Ranbir's house, the RK bungalow, or watching the World Cup with mutual friends like Saif. There are many pictures from that time which went viral,' she said.
She continued, "Ranbir and I get along like a house on fire. He's such a grounded guy. He'd ask me, 'Ameesha, how did you handle so much fame?'—and I'd be like, 'Ranbir, you're from such an iconic film family and you're asking me that?' It was sweet."
'Raj
Kapoor
gave kandha at my grandfather's arthi'
Revealing how deeply the families are connected, Ameesha said, 'Raj Kapoor gave kandha at my grandfather's arthi. Rishi uncle, Babita ji, my parents—they were all friends during their dating phase. We've been connected to the Kapoor family for years.'
Ameesha Patel Snapped in Juhu
'Obviously, no one will link me with Kareena or Karisma because that wouldn't make sense. But with Ranbir, because we were both single and good-looking, people assumed we were together.'
Taking the speculation with humour, Ameesha added, 'Be it Ness,
Salman
, or Ranbir—at least the people I've been linked with are nice! But none of it was true.'

Diddy trial: List of celebrities mentioned during Sean Combs' sex trafficking case

A growing list of celebrities have been named during testimony in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, now entering its fourth week in Manhattan. While none of the stars mentioned have been accused of wrongdoing, their names have surfaced in connection with accounts from former assistants and alleged victims describing the rapper's violent and erratic behaviour. Former executive assistant Capricorn Clark cited Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey while assessing the talent of Cassie Ventura , Combs' former partner. "Talented to me is Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey," she told the court. She described Cassie as a 'studio artist,' implying she lacked the vocal prowess or stage presence of the two legends. Mike Myers was also referenced by "Mia," an alleged victim who worked as the rapper's assistant from 2009 to 2017. She testified that before joining Combs, she had worked for Myers as a personal assistant. Myers' name had already come up during jury selection, in reference to a joke about Combs in Austin Powers. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo Fashion designer Georgina Chapman was similarly mentioned by Mia, who had also worked for her. Chapman, the ex-wife of Harvey Weinstein, was described as someone who dressed celebrities for red carpet events. Rap duo Nas and Kelis were brought into the narrative by Clark, who testified she encountered them in Central Park during a walk with Combs. She also recounted that Combs later threatened to kill her for her past association with rival Suge Knight, a moment that occurred shortly after the walk. Capricorn Clark also gave a harrowing account of Combs violently assaulting Cassie and threatening to kill Kid Cudi, whom Cassie had begun dating. She claimed Combs kidnapped her at gunpoint and took her to Cudi's home while expressing a desire to kill him. Weeks later, Cudi's Porsche was firebombed; a fire investigator testified the Molotov cocktail used in the attack appeared targeted. French Montana, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Wiz Khalifa were named by Deonte Nash, a stylist who worked for Combs and Cassie. He told jurors that these artists featured on Cassie's 2013 mixtape RockaByeBaby, for which no one was paid. Nash also said Combs threatened Cassie by withholding the release of her mixtape if she 'kept having a smart mouth.'

How Scooter Braun's $300M Taylor Swift gamble sparked years of controversy: Full timeline

The acquisition of Taylor Swift's early albums by Scooter Braun ignited a highly publicized feud over ownership and artistic control (Getty Images) What began as a record deal gone wrong has since evolved into one of the most public and emotionally charged disputes in the music industry. Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun 's feud is no longer just about ownership of masters — it's about power, creative control, and how artists are treated in an industry dominated by billion-dollar players. The deal that changed everything: Scooter Braun's acquisition of Taylor Swift's catalog I n 2019, the music world was stunned when Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group — and with it, Taylor Swift's first six albums. The $300 million deal meant Braun controlled the master recordings of Fearless, Red, 1989, and more. Swift didn't hold back in her response, calling it her 'worst case scenario' and alleging she had been subjected to 'incessant, manipulative bullying' by Braun. Despite Swift's desire to purchase her own catalog, she said she wasn't even given a quote. 'These master recordings were not for sale to me,' she declared, making clear that the decision was not only a business betrayal but a deeply personal blow. Taylor Swift's powerful response: Reclaiming her art Refusing to be silenced, Swift launched her re-recording campaign, starting with Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021. 'Artists should own their own work,' she wrote, setting a precedent for other musicians and sending a strong message about artistic independence. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Frankenthal: GEERS sucht 700 Testhörer für Hörgeräte ohne Zuzahlung GEERS Undo Each re-release became a cultural moment, powered by loyal fans and her refusal to back down. As she later told TIME, 'There is one thing I've learned: My response to anything that happens, good or bad, is to keep making things.' Scooter Braun's defense and eventual retreat Braun, for his part, expressed regret. 'I regret and it makes me sad that Taylor had that reaction,' he told Variety. While he denied bullying and said he tried to speak with her, the damage was done — and the court of public opinion had largely sided with Swift. By 2024, Braun lost major clients like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, and in 2025, he announced his retirement from artist management. Though he insisted, 'It's time to move on,' fans weren't so quick to forget.
