St. James Parish deputies in search of Mississippi man missing for five years
ST. JAMES PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The St. James Parish Sheriff's Office has asked for the public's help in searching for a man who has reportedly been missing since 2020.
SJSO detectives are searching for David Shawn Gibson Jr., who is originally from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and was reported missing by his girlfriend on June 18, 2020.
Detectives said Gibson, who was 30 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen in the backyard of a home on Admiral's Landing Street in Paulina, around 3 p.m. on June 15.

At that time, detectives say he weighed about 155 pounds and was 5'5″ with blue eyes and balding blond hair.

Work release inmate accused of walking off job site in Tickfaw
TICKFAW, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for a work release inmate who allegedly walked off a job site on Thursday, June 5. According to the TPSO, 42-year-old Donald Ray Wilson was in a program that allows inmates to work jobs with partner businesses outside of the jail.
