A MASSIVE tsunami warning has been issued in Chile following a 7.5-magnitude quake.
The huge warning came after a strong earthquake in Puerto Williams off the Chilean coast.

According to the National Seismological Center, the earthquake occurred when the clock was about to strike 9:00a.m.
The agency first indicated that the quake had a magnitude of 7.5 on Friday morning.
It reportedly had a depth of 10 kilometres.
The Chilean Navy's Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOA) issued the warning after the quake rocked 218 kilometres south of Puerto Williams, in the Magallanes region.
They also issued a precautionary warning for the Antarctic territory.
The National Disaster Prevention and Response System said that they "continue to assess the impact on people and damage to infrastructure and basic services".
They added that the results of would be reported through incident or emergency reports prepared by SENAPRED, the National Disaster Prevention and Response Service.

It has also been noted that the beaches are eroding due to climate change. For example, storms, rising sea levels and erosion have taken a toll on the six-kilometre-long Playa de Palma. And whilst this year there are less sunbeds, in 2026 the numbers will be even lower. According to Bild, Playa de Palma is set to lose the most sunbeds - reducing 6,000 to 4,436. Out of 2,503 parasols, only 2,218 will remain. In Cala Major, the number of sunbeds will decrease from 300 to 250. Elsewhere in Palma's coastal suburb of Ciutat Jardi, 12 of the 300 sun loungers will go and so will six parasols. The at Cala Estància, in Can Pastilla, there will be only 132 sun loungers instead of 150 and 66 parasols instead of 75. Other beaches are also looking to reduce sunbed and parasol numbers. The Sun explores Majorca For example, Cab Pere Antoni city beach, which is not the responsibility of the city administration, will also be more than halved. The reduction in sun beds is likely to have an impact on sun bed wars that often dominate beaches at popular Spanish resorts. It could make more wars occur as the loungers become more competitive, or alternatively forced people to bring their own loungers to beaches. However, they would be priced much higher than average loungers. The news follows an announcement from a Spanish campaign group leading a movement against overtourism in Majorca to host a large scale protest this week, that will see 60 organisations meet and protest together. Of course the Old is the most famous of them all and is regularly ranked among the UK and indeed the world's best. But the links turf suffers during severe dry spells, much like we saw in Scotland last month. The project will see the number of sprinklers on the Old Course more than double from 800 to 1,500. Work is scheduled to begin in November this year and the aim is for it to be completed in March 2026. Management has vowed to keep the course open for play during this time, with the installation taking place in stages to minimise disruption as much as possible. But parts of the course will be shut off as a result. The Scottish Sun understands that at least two holes on the iconic course will be closed at any one time, with a 'mole plough' used to lay new pipework and cable. But there could be as many as FOUR holes out of play during certain periods. To reflect this, the Trust will reduce green fees from the normal rate. And the colossal fee paid to get him in the race - and run under the famous Aga Khan silks - could prove money well spent. 3 Tennessee Stud His odds have plummeted from 66-1 to 33s and it is easy to see why given the forecast. He brings strong form to the table having been beaten by the likes of Delacroix, Green Storm and Hotazhell. While he was a Group 1 winner on heavy at Saint-Cloud in France last October. 4 New Ground Getting into the really big prices at 50-1, this French raider was a winner on heavy last October. He has been campaigned at a higher level since and come up short - but maybe ultra soft ground is what he needs. His sire won a French Derby on heavy so there is certainly hope. 5 Green Storm If Tennessee Stud is a play, then 200-1 outsider Green Storm has to be as well. Owned by Ahmad Al Shaikh, a genius owner who seemingly always gets a big-price fancy in the frame at the Derby - Hoo Ya Mal at 150-1 was the standout - he screams stamina. Al Shaikh is obsessed with winning the Derby and while this would be the mother of all shocks, a small punt each-way could prove the prudent play.
