Suspect Ovid police are searching for spotted in Dimondale
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The says a man they are searching for was spotted in Dimondale on Friday. If you see him or the vehicle police believe him to be driving, do not attempt to make contact. Instead, call 911.
The man was initially wanted for questioning by the department, though they did not disclose why. Police say he was seen on surveillance video stealing a truck from the Michigan Milk Producers Association in Ovid at around 9:40 a.m. Thursday—which was spotted in Dimondale on Friday. The truck is described as a white 2015 Chevy Silverado with an American Flag sticker on the back and a license plate of EUF0577.

According to OPD, a resident called 911 to report that someone stole Amazon packages off of her porch. The above photos were taken from surveillance cameras outside her home.
Police describe the man as 5'11' tall and of a thin build, wearing a dark green coat with a black strip under the arm that was in the truck when it was stolen. While police initially thought he was armed with a knife, police now say he may have a gun.
The search for the man led Clinton County Dispatch and the Ovid Police Department to issue a Thursday morning, though it was lifted by noon that same day when police believed he had left the area.

‘Multiple' vehicle hit-and-run kills man in Eaton County
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 26-year-old man was killed last night after being hit by 'multiple' vehicles on the edge of Eaton County, and police are still searching for those involved. Eaton County Dispatch reports that they received calls about a crash near Waverly Rd. and Tecumseh River Dr. on Saturday, June 7, at approximately 10:42 p.m. 6 News reporters were sent to the scene, and police confirmed that a body and 'body parts' were found on the road. Police say that the 26-year-old man was on the road at the time of the crash. Police say that no suspects have been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run. 6 News reporters say they saw at least eight police vehicles in the vicinity of the crash, as well as a vehicle from the City of Lansing. Officials closed the road and set up roadblocks from West Willow Rd. to Delta River Rd. According to the City of Lansing Traffic Alerts, the road was reopened shortly before 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning. This is an ongoing investigation. Owner of Billy's C's raw honey in Southwick died in Ohio crash
SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – A beekeeper from Southwick was struck and killed by a vehicle while operating farm equipment in Ohio on Wednesday. In a police report 22News obtained from the Oregon Police Department in Ohio, at around 1:26 a.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to Brown Road for a report of a vehicle crash. The report says that a Chevy Silverado was traveling eastbound when it struck a fork-style farm vehicle traveling in the same direction from behind. He was taken to the St. Vincent Hospital for serious injuries, where he later died. He was identified as 35-year-old William (Billy) Crawford of Southwick, Massachusetts. Crawford is the owner of New England Apiaries on Klaus Anderson Road in Southwick and is known for Billy's C's raw honey. Bill graduated from the Hampden County Beekeepers Association Bee School and started his first beehive. In 2007, he started selling honey from a produce farm he worked at in Westfield before forming Pioneer Valley Apiary in what became New England Apiaries. The posted speed on Brown Road is 50 MPH. The report did not indicate any citations were given to the 20-year-old driver of the Silverado at this time. Mass. beekeeper killed in crash while working in Ohio
A Southwick man has died after a crash in Ohio, where his beekeeping company was working this week. William Crawford III, 35, the founder of New England Apiaries, was working alongside a road in Oregon, Ohio, around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday when the forklift he was using to help other workers load a company vehicle was struck by a 20-year-old driving a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, local TV news station WTOL reported. He was taken to the hospital and later died. The driver of the truck was wearing a seatbelt and uninjured, according to WTOL, and the crash remains under investigation. Crawford, who was known locally as the creator of Billy C's Raw Honey, told MassLive in 2017 that he had first gotten interested in beekeeping in 2005 at 15 years old, when he took a course offered by a regional beekeeping organization. In addition to the honey, which is sold at Big Y supermarkets and other retailers in the area, New England Apiaries rents out its bee colonies to pollinate crops around the country.
