Sheriff's office investigating Loudon County man's disappearance

LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Loudon County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a man who was last seen in late January.
According to the sheriff's office, Guy DeMasellis, 51, was last seen at the Lazy Acres RV Park in Lenoir City, where he was staying. He was last heard from in early February.
Eleven arrested in Jefferson County sobriety checkpoints
DeMasellis is described as 6'3″ tall and weighing 220 pounds.
While there is no evidence of a crime, the sheriff's office said it was reported that DeMasellis was often picked up and dropped off by someone driving a black Kia Soul, possibly a 2019 year model. Investigators are hoping to speak with the driver of a Kia Soul to learn more information.

Brenham, Tx (FOX44) – A 63-year-old woman has died following a fiery crash in rural Washington County southwest of Brenham. The Department of Public Safety reports Rebecca Mayer of Round Top as pronounced dead at a hospital following the crash that occurred about 5:35 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 389 near FM 2502. DPS Sgt Justin Ruiz said Mayer was the driver of a 2023 Kia Soul that as going east on FM 389 when a 2015 Ford F150 pickup going west began a left hand turn, with the Kia striking it in the side. A woman was taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood early Friday. Police said two women were talking outside of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of East Carson Street when a Kia Soul hit one of them, pushing her into her friend. The force threw her friend into the parked vehicle. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition with an ankle and arm injury. Oak Ridge Police increase patrols in Scarboro neighborhood after block party shooting

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Oak Ridge Police Chief Robin Smith said the department has increased patrols in the Scarboro neighborhood following a shooting that injured multiple over Memorial Day weekend. The shooting occurred at a block party around S. Benedict Avenue in the early hours of May 25. Nine people were shot and one person was stabbed. All ten victims survived. Judge grants Kenneth DeHart new preliminary hearing Smith said in a statement to 6 News that the Oak Ridge Police Department has increased its presence in the Scarboro area in response. Officers are conducting regular drive-throughs and foot patrols in the area. Smith said the goal is to both deter further violence and engage with community members to build community trust.
