Adolescence star Owen Cooper, 15, shocks The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon as he reveals what he hates about America
Adolescence star Owen Cooper shocked Jimmy Fallon as he revealed what he hates about being in America during his appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday.
The rising star, 15, who is currently in the US, absolutely slated American candy and food when asked if he is enjoying his time across the pond.
Owen - from Cheshire, England - even bought a basket of British sweets to prove they are much better than US candy.
He said: 'One thing I hate about America - the chocolate and the sweets, everything is just terrible.
'It's just Cheetos and all that nonsense. Honestly, I hate it.'

Jimmy replied: 'But what do you have in England?'
'Have you ever had a maltesers? Right - I'll bring the whole basket up. So this is what I brought [monster munch, maltesers and fruit pastels]', Owen said.
Later in the interview, Owen also revealed the huge Hollywood star that has praised his work recently.
The actor said Leonardo DiCaprio left him a video message when he was with his onscreen dad Stephen Graham.
He said: 'Stephen Graham sent me a video yesterday and it's Leonardo DiCaprio sat next to him and he was saying "Hey Owen, I'm such a big fan of Adolescene".
'And I was like "What!"'
Fans were left stunned after spotting Owen's drastic growth spurt in the two months since Adolescence hit our television screens.
Owen now towers over the show's writer and onscreen dad Stephen despite being noticeably smaller than his co-star at a premiere in London in March.
Fans were left stunned by Owen Cooper's drastic growth spurt after the cast of Adolescence jetted off to Los Angeles last week
Owen, who hails from a proudly working class estate in central Warrington, was chosen from 500 candidates for the role of Jamie.
It was his first-ever acting job and no one in his family has a background in the industry.
He is being supported on his meteoric rise by dad Andy, an IT worker, and mum Noreen, a carer.
Speaking about the change in their lives, Noreen said: 'It's such a shock, but we're getting on with it.'
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede predicted Owen could follow in Timothée Chalamet's footsteps and become 'the toast of Hollywood'.
He told MailOnline: 'The phenomenal success of Adolescence has taken the TV world by storm and critics have been raving about Owen's stand-out performance.
'The Hollywood elite love a rags-to-riches story and, at 15 and his first ever role, this young actor who was brought up in humble surroundings could soon become Hollywood's hottest property and follow the path of many other child stars who have become household names, like Millie Bobby Brown or Timothee Chalamet.
'I'm sure writers will already be presenting his agents with scripts and synopsis that will feature him.
'As he's so young I am sure he will be looked after and not thrust into the limelight without any support.
'Being a star in the UK is very different from being an international phenomenon. I am sure the offers will be rolling in from feature films to brand deals and beyond.
'He will probably feel a lot of pressure, but also feel a massive sense of achievement from where he has come from to where he is now.'
The Emmy awards ceremony will take place in LA in September.

Tesla shares rebound on news of Musk and Trump talks after explosive feud cost firm $99bn in a day
Tesla shares are poised to jump as much as 5.7 per cent when stock markets open in the US later today after the business took a $99bn (£73bn) hit following an explosive feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk. The share price of the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer tanked from more than $322 at the start of Thursday's trading to $284 at the end of the day, more than a 14 per cent drop as a result of a back-and-forth argument between the pair, which covered everything from government contracts to the Epstein files. However, a ceasefire of sorts appears to have been brokered, and the two are due to meet on Friday - resulting in some investors surging back into Tesla stock. Even so, with futures markets showing around a 5.7 per cent rise in pre-trading just before 9am BST, that still means the market capitalisation of Tesla - the measure of its overall value by share price - will have dropped a full $99bn in a day. After-hours trading shows the buying and selling of shares outside of regular stock market opening hours, mostly dominated by big corporate investors. That is reflected in the futures price, which shows the stock price that a company will 'open' at. The large sell-off means Tesla has again lost its status as a $1tn company, though it still ranks in the top ten largest American companies. The one-day cost to Mr Musk's net worth personally was around $34bn (£25bn), according to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, at the time stock markets closed in the US. He remains the richest person on the planet by a distance. Separate from share price woes, Mr Trump's tax and spending Bill could be set to cost Tesla. Eliminating tax incentives for US buyers purchasing EVs, in addition to a similar scheme in California, could cost Tesla more than $3bn, analysts estimate. Outside of Tesla, Mr Musk's other business interests could be hard-hit too if the US president presses ahead with his threats to cancel government contracts with SpaceX. Other car manufacturers across the UK and Europe have not reacted with notable share price changes after the feud took place outside their trading hours on Thursday. German-listed Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes were largely flat in early trading, with the UK's Aston Martin Lagonda up 2 per cent. Ferrari is listed in New York and is up 0.4 per cent in pre-trading, with General Motors at 0.5 per cent and Toyota's US listing set to open 0.3 per cent up.

Miliband: I'll force solar panels onto ‘vast majority' of new homes
Developers will be forced to install solar panels on the 'vast majority' of new homes, Ed Miliband has said. The Energy Secretary said plans for a massive increase in rooftop solar power were 'just common sense' and should become 'almost universal' across the country. Four in five new-builds will reportedly be required to have solar panels covering 40 per cent of their ground area under new proposals, while 19 per cent would be allowed to have slightly fewer because of exemptions such as those relating to roof pitch. Mr Miliband claimed the move could save a typical homeowner £500 a year with their energy bills – despite industry fears it will add thousands of pounds to developers' costs. It comes days after he defeated a separate attempt by the Chancellor Rachel Reeves to slash funding for the warm homes scheme, a £13.2 billion project to upgrade housing insulation and install other energy saving measures. Warning that the current proportion of new build homes with solar panels, at 40 per cent, was not high enough, he said: 'It's got to be much, much higher than that. 'It's got to be almost universal. There will be rare exceptions where solar panels won't be on, if they simply will make no difference. 'But for the vast, vast majority of homes, homes will be built, the solar panels will be there – saving something like £500 for the typical homeowner. 'It's just common sense.' Mr Miliband's comments, in a BBC interview, come a month after Downing Street confirmed the panels should be installed on as many new properties as possible, amid speculation that ministers will make them a mandatory requirement for developers by 2027. Changes to regulations will be laid out in the Future Homes Standard, due to be published this autumn. The previous Conservative government considered a proposal that would have mandated rooftop solar panels to cover 40 per cent of a building's ground area or equivalent. Mr Miliband said: 'The problem about the previous system was that it said you would have to have a certain percentage of coverage of solar panels, but if you couldn't achieve that percentage, you didn't have to do anything at all. 'Under our plans, we are not going to say that. We are going to say even if you can't hit 40 per cent you will still have to have some solar panels, except in rare, exceptional cases.' The policy is expected to add between £3,000 and £4,000 to the cost of construction, but supporters claim it would save owners more than £1,000 on their annual energy bills. Labour's manifesto included a pledge to build 1.5 million new homes over the course of the Parliament. It comes after Miliband called for car parks across Britain to be turned into solar farms. However, there have been a number of high profile fires recently that have been attributed to the panels. Last month, a faulty solar panel was blamed for a fire at a maternity hospital which led pregnant women and babies to be evacuated from the building in Bristol. They were also said to have probably been the cause of a fire that severely damaged a £1.5 million home in Dorset during the same month.

Saucy 90s piercing trend celebs like Maura Higgins love & why it makes you ‘ooze sexual confidence' others can't resist
THE nineties are calling, and one of its boldest trends is making a fierce comeback. Once flaunted by supermodels, singers, and actresses alike, intimate piercings are back in the spotlight - and it's not just the younger celebrities embracing the look. 13 13 13 Hollywood stars and A-listers are slowly jumping on the wave, proudly showcasing their daring piercings as the latest must-have accessory. Last month, Kim Kardashian, 44, turned heads in Beverly Hills as she stepped out wearing a skintight black top, seemingly flaunting a brand-new nipple piercing. However, the mum-of-four soon revealed it was all part of the launch for her Pierced Nipple Skims Push-Up Bra. The bra, priced at £80, debuted on 22 May and has already sold out on the official website, with shoppers eager to share their thoughts. One thrilled customer wrote: 'This is my first Skims bra, and I am absolutely in love. The bra itself is extremely supportive and seamless and gives the goods a fantastic shape and lift. 'Truly a beautifully crafted push-up bra. My boobs haven't seen this much height since before kids." A second added: 'I love it! I've always wanted nip piercings but didn't want to deal with the annoying healing process. These look great!' Kim isn't the only one helping to revive the daring trend. Celebrities like Maura Higgins and Cardi B have been spotted embracing the look, cementing its place as one of the year's boldest style statements. Supermodels Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are also on the trend, proving that the 'nipple piercing' trend is as versatile as it is daring. From red carpets to social media, this iconic nineties fashion staple is being reimagined for a new era, blending edgy confidence with high-fashion appeal. Body language expert Judi James believes that women are wanting to step up and take control, just like in the nineties. 'Piercings suggest sexual confidence, boasting and fearlessness,' she explains. 'The blend of pain and heightened pleasure re-defined women in terms of our self perception and sexual role. 'Trad wife trends and the online revival of traditionally 'feminine' pursuits like jam making, baking and flower arranging have sent us spiralling away from the nineties narrative of equality. 'This revival of the nipple ring suggests a timely revival of girl power though. 'The piercing is a statement of changing and controlling the sexual narrative and it's daring, risqué and even rather brave.' The return of the 'pierced' aesthetic also reflects a cultural moment where people are reclaiming their bodies and sexuality in bold Oriona Robbfashion stylist Whether it's real piercings or clever designs like Kim's Skims bra, this trend is showing no signs of slowing down. Oriona Robb, fashion stylist and brand consultant, said: 'There's always been a rebellious, body confident edge to nipple piercings, but right now they're firmly back in fashion and it's definitely not by accident. 'Kim Kardashian's Skims ' Ultimate Nipple Bra ' selling out so quickly was a huge signal that this isn't a trend that's planning to be ignored. 'It's cheeky, it's intentional, and people are absolutely loving it. 'It plays on the fantasy of the pierced look without the commitment, and that tells us something about where fashion is right now, which is that it's all about playful provocation and pushing boundaries. 13 13 13 'The return of the 'pierced' aesthetic also reflects this cultural moment where people are reclaiming their bodies and sexuality in bold, creative ways. 'Fashion has always been a medium of expression, but now it's less about conforming and more about showing personality, sensuality and edge - ultimately showing you for who you really are and want to be. 'You're seeing this influence across lingerie, streetwear, and even runway collections, where hardware and body revealing cuts are coming back and have been seen everywhere already this summer. 'It's no wonder we're seeing celebs like Maura Higgins showing off their nipple piercings too, and that has certainly helped reignite the buzz and noise around this trend.' Here, we take a closer look at the celebs rocking the nipple piercings. Maura Higgins 13 She's famed for her bold and fearless style, so it's no surprise that Maura Higgins confidently flaunts her nipple piercings. Bella Thorne Turning heads as always, Bella Thorne made a bold entrance at Diesel's show during Milan Fashion Week, playfully showcasing her nipple piercing. The 27-year-old actress stunned in a figure-hugging nude dress that subtly highlighted her daring jewellery. Embracing her fearless style, the former Disney star proudly flaunted her assets. Kendall Jenner 13 After turning 19, Kendall Jenner decided to take the plunge and get her piercing. Unbothered by the attention her choice has received, she has openly discussed understanding why it sparks so much curiosity and conversation. "Having my nipple pierced isn't really something I make a big deal of, but I think people are obsessed with the topic because it seems so unexpected of me," she says. "Before I even decided to go for it, I just liked showing my nipples through some of my outfits; there's something understated, yet sexy about it."
