Borna Barisic and John Lundstram were two of the big names who left Rangers at the end of the 2023/24 season.
The high profile duo were among several stars who became free agents when their contracts at Ibrox expired.
Neither player had long to wait to find a new club and they both ended up in the same place.
Barisic and Lundstram both signed for Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor.
Both players penned three-year contracts with the club.
An inconsistent season saw Trabzonspor start poorly both domestically and on the continent, missing out on group stage European football despite getting qualifying cracks at both the Europa League and Conference League.
Things improved as the campaign went on, with the club eventually finishing 7th and also reaching the final of the Turkish Cup.
The club went through three permanent managers over the course of the season, with Faith Tekke - a 2008 Uefa Cup final foe of Rangers' - the man currently at the helm.
Former Zenit Saint Petersburg striker Tekke has some big decisions to make this summer.
That's because according to various Turkish reports, including from Gunaydin, he will have to part with SEVEN first team players.

Turkish Super Lig rules allow clubs a maximum of 12 foreign players in their squad.
Including players returning on loan, Trabzonspor have 14 on their books.
Boss Tekke is expected to sign five overseas players this summer, meaning the club will have to move seven foreign players on in the transfer window in what's been termed a 'foreign quota crisis.'
Both Barisic and Lundstram could be part of the upcoming cull.
Croatia left-back Barisic's time in Turkey has been nothing short of a nightmare.
He barely kicked a ball and was sent out on loan to Spain with Leganes in January.
But he suffered a horror injury on his debut and his season was over.
Now according to the reports in Turkey, Barisic's contract could be TERMINATED by Trabzonspor.
It's claimed talks to rip up his deal are underway.
Lundstram, meanwhile, recovered from a slow start to life to enjoy a relatively solid season.
He earned the respect of the Trabzonspor fans after filling-in at centre-back for a large part of the season.
But Turkish media say that Lundstram's AGE could go against him as the club decides which players to move on.
The midfielder has only just turned 31 but that makes him one of the oldest foreign players in the squad.
Ex-Man City star Stefan Savic, 34, Edin Visca, 35, and 36-year old Anthony Nwakaeme are the other three names listed as being 'likely' candidates to be sold this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo's footballing exploits have raised him to insurmountable fame, and with such notoriety comes an added security risk, as detailed by a former bodyguard Cristiano Ronaldo's former bodyguard has admitted that people and fans would 'threaten' the Portuguese superstar, though his life was never at risk. Having emerged at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo rose to become one of European football's finest and won his first of five Ballons d'Or in 2008 as a Red Devil. A four-time Champions League-winning spell with Real Madrid followed, before a stint with Juventus, a short-lived return to Old Trafford and an unceremonious exit to the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr. Throughout his illustrious career for club and country, in which he has mustered over 900 goals and won countless accolades, the superstar's fame has transcended football. Ronaldo is one of the most recognisable sports stars, if not celebrities, in the world, but such popularity brings with it its fair share of risk. On Wednesday, for example, a fan evaded security before Portugal's match against Germany and invaded the pitch, getting his hands around the 40-year-old before being escorted away by security. The Al Nassr forward has, therefore, often sought the help of a bodyguard, and Hichman, who served him for four years, has given insight into the sort of threats he would aim to deal with and how much he'd be paid. "Our work depends on the client's profile. In the case of Cristiano, with whom I worked for four years, his profile wasn't high-risk because people didn't want to kill him, and he didn't receive death threats," Hichman told Telecinco. "He was threatened by fans or people who wanted to rob him." The 36-year-old Hichman went on to detail the strategies he would employ to keep Ronaldo, his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children safe. "We always have to know where we're going, who will be there, and have clear entry and exit points, as well as contact points," he continued. "We must always be aware that our lives could be at risk. We have to be willing to protect a person, and sometimes we have to give our lives to protect them. "If I have to use weapons, I will use them. The most important thing is having the ability to think quickly, solve problems, and remain calm in difficult situations." Hichman looks back fondly on his time serving the marksman, claiming that he would earn around £850 per day providing security for Ronaldo, with whom he has a positive relationship despite not working for him anymore. "He is the best boss I've ever had," stated Hichman. "We have a good relationship. Working with him wasn't like working with someone threatened with death or kidnap. We had some silly incidents with paparazzi or crazy fans, but nothing major." Aside from making life difficult for photographers and trying to keep Ronaldo's family out of the public eye as much as possible, Hichman revealed that he never dealt with serious threats to the 40-year-old. There have been many instances of fans running onto the pitch, as occurred during Portugal's Nations League clash this week, to try and get a close-up glimpse of Ronaldo or attempt to take a selfie with him. Yet, in April, Marca reported that Ronaldo had ramped up security efforts after threats were made against his family on social media, allegedly from a group located in Saudi Arabia, where he currently resides.

Robin Propper 'reaches agreement' over Rangers transfer exit
Sources in The Netherlands claim the defender, 31, has 'agreed' to return to his homeland after just one season in Glasgow. Philippe Clement signed the centre-back last summer from FC Twente. He joined as Connor Goldson's replacement. However, things haven't panned out as planned for Propper in a Rangers jersey. He has copped plenty of criticism for his performances at the back, with the Scottish game seemingly too quick and physical for his capabilities, although, injuries were also an issue. Propper did go on to make 39 appearances across all competitions though, scoring twice, including during a 3-0 victory over Celtic at Ibrox. Read more: Now, according to TwenteFans, it looks like Propper's short stay in Scotland could be coming to an end. The site claims he's reached an agreement to go back to his old club, Twente. The report fails to mention a fee, with the defender contracted at Ibrox until the summer of 2028. However, they have suggested that Propper will sign a three-year contract at the Eredivisie side. Russell Martin was yesterday unveiled as Rangers' new head coach. The former Southampton boss will immediately get to work on shaping his squad ahead of the players returning for pre-season later this month.
