Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez Wedding Kicks Off in Venice
The nuptial festivities of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sánchez have kicked off in Venice.
The threat of protests has not dampened the mood of the nuptials of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sánchez in Venice. The multi-day affair, dubbed the "Wedding of the Century," is reportedly costing upwards of $55 million and has drawn celebrity guests from around the world, as well as vocal local protestors.
About a dozen local organizations—including housing advocates, anti-cruise ship campaigners, and university groups—have united under the banner "No Space for Bezos." They say that their city is being treated as a billionaire's playground and highlights wealth inequity. Their small-scale demonstrations have included hanging protest banners on iconic landmarks, and a Bezos dummy was floated down the Grand Canal in an Amazon box clutching cash.

Other notable names expected to attend are Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, entertainment mogul Barry Diller, and NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez, who is Sánchez's ex-boyfriend. CBS News reports that the guest list is capped at around 200, and at least 95 private planes have requested landing permission at Venice's Marco Polo Airport.

Florals, animal print, and loud luxury are in at the Bezos wedding, with some outfits costing nearly $10,000
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding officially kicked off on Thursday. Their guests were spotted heading to an event for the couple on water taxis. So far, their A-list attendees have worn luxury designers, bold florals, and animal print. It's safe to say no one is underdressed at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding. Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, are getting married in Venice in a lavish celebration surrounded by about 200 of their famous and powerful friends, who packed their best — and most expensive — outfits. From animal prints and florals to a three-dimensional heart, check out some of the most eye-catching looks Bezos and Sánchez's wedding guests have worn so far. Lauren Sánchez led the pack on Thursday in a sculpted Schiaparelli gown. Jeff Bezos opted for expensive glasses. Her strapless dress came from the fashion house's Icarus couture line. It featured a tight, metallic corset, a satin band with embroidered flowers across the chest, and a form-fitted skirt with a matching print. Equally loud was her jewelry. In addition to her massive engagement ring, Sanchez sported large diamond earrings and a second diamond ring. Bezos kept his outfit simpler, wearing a charcoal suit and $975 Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses. Kim Kardashian embraced loud luxury with a statement-making look. She wore a snakeskin print dress with a daring top. The latter was fitted at the waist, embellished at the straps, and plunging at the neckline. It also had crisscross straps down its front. She wore it with smoky makeup, wavy hair, and a large diamond ring shaped like a butterfly. Khloé Kardashian followed in a semi-sheer gown. The TV star waved at photographers from a water taxi, showing off her massive diamond cuff and designer sunglasses in the process. It was her bedazzled mesh gown, however, that really deserved attention. The piece was see-through and covered in stripes of silver sparkles. Its neckline was also so low that it revealed the bra-style top of her undergarment. No one looked more chic than Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble. While Gamble sported an all-black suit and layers of pearl necklaces, Jenner chose a tulle gown with puffy sleeves, a rose-embellished belt, and long diamond earrings. The "momager" also wore designer sunglasses and multiple silver bracelets, matching the accessories Gamble wore. Kendall Jenner found her floral gown of choice in a vintage Roberto Cavalli collection. Her halter dress was originally made for the designer's 2002 runway collection. It had a deep V-neckline, a tight skirt, and a mix of floral and decorative prints in pink all over the dress. Kylie Jenner looked cool and chic in yellow. She wore a sheer, body-hugging dress crafted entirely from yellow lace. The makeup mogul also seemingly wore peach-colored undergarments beneath it, including a bra that poked out above the chest. To complete the look, she added a black leather bag and round sunglasses. Vittoria Ceretti and Natasha Poonawalla wore some of the loudest fashion. Ceretti, an Italian model, stepped onto a water taxi in a gray gown with a ruffled bow at the chest, floral embellishments across one strap, and strings laced up its skirt. Poonawalla, an Indian businesswoman, boarded the boat behind her in a red AZ Factory piece created for the brand's 2022 spring runway. It was strapless and made from a mix of fabrics, including velvet, with massive 3D hearts attached all over. Ivanka Trump stunned in a floral minidress that costs nearly $10,000. She took a water taxi on Thursday with her husband, Jared Kushner. Though his outfit, a navy-blue suit, was simple, Trump's was the opposite. She wore an Oscar de la Renta minidress embellished with white and pink ombré sequins and an assortment of white floral pieces. The straps were also created to look like stems. Online, the dress retails for $9,990. Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King popped in bold prints for Thursday evening's event. Winfrey and King caught a water taxi together on Thursday. King, who joined Sánchez in space in April, wore a yellow and white dress, while Winfrey chose a maroon and white floral look. Winfrey's dress had subtle cutouts on the waist, giving it a daring edge. The besties both wore sunglasses, too. Sánchez rocked sparkles for a pre-wedding event on Wednesday, while Bezos paired a T-shirt with a suit. The bride-to-be wore a form-fitting gown with a one-shoulder neckline from Alexander McQueen's spring 2003 collection. Diagonal stripes of sparkles covered the dress, making it stand out. Bezos kept his eveningwear casual, wearing a suit with a cream T-shirt. He added sunglasses to the outfit to make the look feel even more laid-back. Khloé Kardashian made a statement in a bold jumpsuit when she arrived in Venice on Thursday. Khloé Kardashian supported her sister with her first look for the Bezos wedding, wearing a Skims x Dolce & Gabbana catsuit in cheetah print. She paired it with brown, open-toe heels and big sunglasses. Kim Kardashian embraced logo-mania with her first look. Kim Kardashian stepped into Venice in a black Balenciaga set that consisted of a strapless top, a high-waisted skirt, and a matching hoodie. The skirt said "Balenciaga" in white font on the waist. Chunky sunglasses and white, printed boots completed the loud-luxury ensemble.

Nothing's First Stab at Over-Ear Headphones Leak and Look Appropriately Odd
Nothing's first pair of headphones has apparently leaked, and it's nearly impossible to assume they could have been designed by any other company. The over-ear headphones look to have more personality than most popular options on the market, and, well, that's very on-brand of Nothing. The company is good at making statement pieces and has done so with its phones since the beginning. Whether you like the retro-futuristic styling of its products or not is largely a personal preference, but no one can say the brand has an issue with taking a swing with something bold. We already knew that Nothing was up to something in the headphone space, and it's even gone on record to say its upcoming headphones will be "better than the AirPods Max," from Apple. Named the Headphone 1, we expect to see the ear cans officially unveiled on July 1, alongside the Nothing Phone 3. Nothing didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the leak, but you can check out the video below of the purported upcoming Headphone 1: The cups shown in the Headphone 1 leak have a squarish design that's reminiscent of Apple's offering shape-wise, but that's about it. The translucent backing of the cups shows off some of the internals -- a Nothing signature. Little else can be gleaned from the photos and video, outside of the likely USB-C port. It appears that Nothing's feeling fairly confident in the Headphone 1, but we're still in the dark on official pricing and specs. We're only a week away from finding out, though the peculiar design will be an acquired taste that will more than likely keep them from mass adoption, no matter how well they perform or how much they cost. If you're looking for the best of what's available right now, don't miss our best Over-Ear headphones for 2025.
