
BMX rider dies in collision with car in Perth's south

A cyclist has died in a crash with a vehicle in Parmelia on Monday night.
The cyclist's black BMX bike was travelling north at about 10.55pm when it struck a red Holden Captiva Station Sedan at the intersection of Parmelia Avenue and The Ramble in Parmelia.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services, with the 62-year-old Captiva driver escaping uninjured.
Major crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses to come forward as they conduct an examination of the scene.
