EXCLUSIVE Chrishell Stause exposes Love Triangle's biggest FBoy as she lifts the lid on behind-the-scenes secrets from the explosive reunion event: 'He just wanted to sleep with her'

Daily Mail20-05-2025

Chrishell Stause has been flown in as a very special guest to host Stan 's much-anticipated season three Love Triangle reunion.
And on Tuesday, the Selling Sunset star, 43, didn't hold back when it came to calling out Bernie for his 'gross behaviour' and questionable motives after footage of his secret tryst with Chloe was played back in front to the cast.
'It was just so obvious to me,' Chrishell said.
'He shut down immediately when the daters didn't look a certain way. He wasn't open to taking any form of accountability.
'I understand that's your preference, but the whole point of the show is to be open. I feel like he robbed the other daters of the experience. That already says something about him.'
But it was Bernie's short-lived tryst with Chloe that left Chrishell fuming.
'He wooed somebody from another triangle and dumped her right before [the reunion]… It was very clear to me he wanted to sleep with Chloe,' she said.
'He told her whatever she wanted to hear to do that and he didn't want to then be on TV with a girlfriend. He wanted to go out and sleep with whoever he wanted. It's just gross behaviour.
'Whether he wants to admit it or not – and I hope he gets to a place where he can – that was his intention. And I wanted to push him to own it.'
Since attending the reunion back in November, Sydney-based Bernie has refused to take any accountability for his behaviour, refused to speak to any the cast or even acknowledge his involvement on the show.
'It's not surprising to me or anyone probably that's dealt with someone like him. He's very charming,' Chrishell explained.
'You see why, he probably, ends up hurting a lot of people because he's never going to be that guy that's able, I don't wanna say that.
'Maybe watching the show back will help him, but I feel like he's gotten away so far... [He's] really just getting away with a lot of things because he thinks he can, and, leading people on and ends up hurting people.
'I think it's nice for people to be able to watch someone like that where it's okay, I'm sure a lot of people have fallen for this before.'
The US-based reality star revealed she was shown rough edits of episodes before filming the reunion, which helped her prepare to hold the cast accountable.
'The show hadn't come out yet, so I was being shown rough edits of the episodes before they went to air,' she explained.
'I also got to talk with the producers because I wanted to know – wait, are they really like this? The way that it's coming across?
'I come from Selling Sunset, and I've seen where sometimes something can really be turned on its head and it's not how it went. But that is not the case with this show.'
Chrishell said the producers even kept her from meeting the cast until the moment she walked out onto the set.
'They held me back from meeting them until I actually walk out. So yeah, it was just a crazy situation to be able to ask all the questions I wanted to – as if I was an audience member,' she explained.
And she didn't hold back on those questions, particularly when it came to men avoiding accountability on dating shows.
'I'm such a lover, I really root for love. But I want people to not be able to get away with that behaviour anymore. Nowadays with social media, it's helped shine a light on things people used to get away with,' she said.
'Bernie is a perfect example. If this show aired years ago, he would've gotten away with it like gangbusters. But we're in a new age now. Women are sharpening up, we're sharing our experiences.
'Gaslighting didn't even used to be a word – we didn't know what it was. Now we know the signs, and we're not falling for it.'
When asked how she spots someone faking it for the cameras, Chrishell was quick to point out a clear sign.
'Their words don't match their actions,' she explained.
'If someone is saying they're here for love, but when they thought nobody was paying attention, they spoke about women in a degrading way… that tells you everything.
'They're not looking for love – they need to learn how to love themselves first.'
Despite the takedowns, Chrishell insisted she genuinely wants these men to learn and grow from the experience.
'I do root for them to get better. I hope they watch this back and are able to reflect. I've been on Selling Sunset, and the world bombards you with feedback – but sometimes that feedback helps,' she said.
'If you're able to take it on the chin and reflect, it'll make you a better person.'
Having starred on The Traitors and numerous reality shows herself, Chrishell said she's was thrilled sitting in the host's seat for Stan.
'I did The Traitors, which filmed in Australia as well – but I'm definitely staying in the host seat for now,' she laughed.
'It's a lot more stressful being in the hot seat!'
So would she return for another season?
'Absolutely. I loved working with Stan. I would do it again in a heartbeat,' she said.
'I think we need to find more daters who are genuinely open to the process.
'There's justice to be had for some of the people who went into this with the right heart – and didn't get the outcome they deserved.'
Chrishell even floated the idea of bringing Love Triangle to the US.
'America would love this show – it was so juicy. My jaw dropped so many times!' she said.
And while she and her Aussie partner G Flip are still based in LA, Chrishell didn't rule out a future move Down Under.
'We always have that as an option,' she teased.
'We love Australia – it's always on the board of possibilities.'
As for the advice she'd give to the cast now that the reunion has aired?
'It's going to be hard. There's a lot of criticism that comes with being on a public platform. But if you can be open to feedback - even the bad stuff - you'll come out of it a better person,' she concluded.
Watch every episode of Love Triangle only on Stan.

Ryan Thomas shares wife's off-screen involvement in Sue Cleaver's Corrie exit

Ryan Thomas spent 16 years on the Corrie set with his mum Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver - so when she finally called it a day on the ITV soap, he was there to send her off Corrie star Ryan Thomas has given his wife Lucy Mecklenburgh a tour around his on-screen childhood home, as he paid tribute to his TV mum Eileen after Sue Cleaver's emotional departure from the soap. Ryan, 40, shares two children with TOWIE star Lucy Meck, but he had already left the show by the time they got together. Ryan spent his teenage years in Weatherfield, having joined the Manchester-based ITV soap in 2000. He stayed until 2016, when his character, builder Jason Grimshaw left the cobbles after being manipulated by his mum Eileen's partner Pat Phelan. ‌ But Jason wasn't killed off, and instead emigrated to Thailand, with his mum Eileen mentioning him often on the soap. And with Sue Cleaver finally leaving Corrie for good, he took the opportunity to show Lucy, 33, around the set. ‌ Sharing a video on Instagram of Lucy walking through the Grimshaws' living room, he wrote: "I was never with @lucymeck while I was in the show so it was nice to finally show my superfan where I grew up." Another clip showed Sue being given a round of applause, before hugging her on-screen sons Jason and Todd, who was played by Bruno Langley originally, and then Gareth Pierce since 2017. Ryan wrote: "Haven't seen it yet but Eileen/mother departed Weatherfield tonight, gone but never forgotten. "It has been an honour to watch, learn and act alongside you one last time. Can't wait to watch you shine in your next chapter. Love you always." Sue confirmed rumours that Ryan would be returning to the Cobbles for her send off. Speaking on soap podcast Off Script, she said: "I rang Ryan Thomas and I said, 'Ryan, I've not told work yet but I'm gonna leave. Would you come back? I'd really like you to take me out'. ‌ "He said, 'I wasn't planning to but I can't refuse that can I'. It just felt really right that he was there. It was lovely having him there. He's not changed at all." Following her final episode on Friday night, Sue's character Eileen was seen leaving for a new life in Thailand, alongside her son Jason. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' ‌ Sue has played outspoken Eileen in the ITV show since 2000, who started her life in Weatherfield working on the phones at local taxi firm Streetcars. She arrived with her tearaway teenagers Jason and Todd, and became friends with her boss Steve. Sue came third on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother. She also revealed how her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Helen Worth (who plays Gail Platt) who is godmother to one of her half-sisters. Meanwhile, her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, Sue released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime, and has been a panellist on ITV daytime chat show Loose Women.

On Friday's episode, Exeter-based teenage sweethearts Lauren and Tom were the newest additions to the group, wanting to feel more confident in having an open relationship. After getting engaged three months ago, it was Tom who was struggling most with the idea, admitting he has found himself struggling to perform in a multiple-person sexual scenario. He's also suffering from self-esteem issues after being diagnosed with Sudden Death Syndrome, a heart condition that has meant he can no longer go to the gym, putting on weight as a result. Advertisement The bisexual bride-to-be admitted to Effy that she didn't 'feel complete' with either men or women, and had a hard time accepting being with just one person for the rest of her life. Setting up a barn dance mixer, the couple were told to invite others into their room for foreplay, with Tom taking the lead in a situation that doesn't necessarily lead to sex or his need to perform. However, when three couples say yes, Tom admits he 'felt petrified and sick' as he's tied and blindfolded to a bed. With Lauren watching on excitedly from the sidelines with a glass of wine, Tom lets the women take control as they start caressing, kissing and touching him. Advertisement One purred to him: 'You're getting worshipped, you're getting all the attention.' Sharing his fears, Tom said: 'I definitely want to make Lauren happy, I will try anything. To jump this hurdle this early, in my head, I can't perform. I just freeze. Overwhelmed husband wipes away tears after partner romps with another woman in Open House 'Once I'm in that rut, I can't get out of the rut.' As the episode came to an end, it seems the events of the night take a toll on Tom, who is heard vomiting in the bathroom. Animal weddings: Your guide to including them on your big day in and around Dundee, Fife and Perth

Animals can add a unique, memorable touch to a wedding, whether it's a case of bringing the family pet or inviting other creatures. Popular choices include dogs, ponies, birds of prey, and of course alpacas. If you're desperate to take your beloved dog, then you need to consider a few things such as: what happens when Fido needs to do his business? That's when a service like dog chaperoning comes in handy. Perth-based dog wedding chaperone Laura Findlay has been making couples' dreams come true across Scotland since she set up her business, Solo Paws, in 2023. Her mission is to offer a personalised service to wedding couples, whether simply to bring pets along for the photo shoot, festoon them in special wedding attire, or look after them before, during and after the ceremony. Laura can be involved as much or as little as the couple want. Her lowest price is £50 and this can rise to a few hundred pounds depending on the service. She can walk the dog, give it a wash, tart it up, put on a wee bandana, bow-tie or a special collar with a wooden heart. Imagine having miniature Shetland ponies at your wedding! Haggis and Squiggles, from Blairgowrie-based Alba Therapy Ponies, have been invited to their first wedding in September. Their owners, Alex Barr and Drew Myers, said while the cute equines will be 'confetti ponies' at the ceremony, they'll then be available for 'pony enrichment sessions' with children. 'Our two superstar ponies Haggis and Squiggles wear flower arrangements on their backs, and wicker baskets filled with confetti for guests to throw,' said Alex. 'They can also carry bottles of prosecco or beer. They act as 'four-legged waiters' when they mingle over cocktail hour to distribute drinks. 'Children at the weddings can also learn how to groom and care for them.' 'We're marketing the ponies for weddings and hope to have some more last minute bookings this summer,' added Alex. Owls can be used as ring-bearers indoors, while other birds of prey may be lined up for outdoor ceremonies. Guests could be welcomed by majestic birds perched at the entrance, and enjoy interactive flying experiences. Elite Falconry based at Cluny Mains Farm, near Kirkcaldy, offer various wedding packages. These include getting an eagle or owl to fly over the head of guests to deliver the rings and to the (pre-trained) best man. They also offer an 'eagle cam', where an eagle wearing a small camera soars above the venue capturing footage of guests arriving.
