Olly Pearson through to BGT final after second golden buzzer
The young rocker from Wrexham got his first golden buzzer from Judge Amanda Holden at his audition.
But during tonight's semi-final - which saw him play a combination of Thunderstruck, Sweet Child o' Mine and Livin' on a Prayer - it was Simon Cowell who sent him straight through to the finals.
Asked why he'd pressed the golden buzzer, Simon said: "He was brilliant!
"He's so small and talented and charismatic.
"I probably went a bit early in hindsight, but I was so excited.
"That was brilliant - you're so talented."
Amanda told Olly: "A double golden buzzer! I couldn't be more delighted.
"You've smashed this audition, well done Olly!"
Olly himself was delighted at the news, telling the Judges: "That was the coolest thing in my life."
Before the performance, Olly attributed his talent to his grandad's tuition, explaining: "I started playing when I was seven with my grandad.
"He taught me everything I know.
"I can't believe millions of people have watched my audition - it's amazing."
