June 2 (UPI) -- The CW Network announced sports drama All American will return for an eighth and final season in 2026.
The broadcaster announced Monday that the series, from executive producer and showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, will air its final 13-episode season next year.
"All American is one of the greatest CW shows of all time and we are honored to bring it back for one final season to give fans a chance to say a meaningful goodbye to these inspiring characters and this incredible world," Brad Schwartz, president of The CW Network, said in a news release. "The series took bold new steps in Season 7, adding exciting new characters to the ones we already love, and viewers truly embraced it all."
The series is the network's top prime time performer among the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics, and is the most-watched show on The CW app, the network said.

"My heart is so filled with love and gratitude for everyone who helped bring All American to life and kept it going for its historic run. It is so hard to say goodbye to the thing that you love, but we are so excited we get to do it in the way we envisioned with this final season," Carroll said.

Bills' Joe Brady Offers Positive Scouting Report On Joshua Palmer

Bills' Joe Brady Offers Positive Scouting Report On Joshua Palmer originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills' offense last season was one of the better units in football, and with a "everybody eats" mantra, every player got their lick of the ice cream. Advertisement Still, there was something missing, and for most, that was a No. 1 receiver. Despite the Bills' offense, under the guidance of Joe Brady, averaging 30.9 points a game en route to winning 13 regular-season games, more weapons were needed. At least that was the thought, anyway. Enter Los Angeles Chargers receiver Joshua Palmer, who was signed in free agency to help bring a speed and vertical threat to the offense. As Bills OTAs have gotten underway, Brady has liked what he has seen from Josh Allen's newest weapon. "I've been a fan of Josh's since he was coming out [of college]," Brady said. "He's an intelligent football player, conscientious, wants to know the why and the big picture to everything. Kind of a seamless fit for our room, he's a guy that can play all the positions, play inside, outside, it was a great get for us." Vasquez-Imagn Images Palmer will join a receiver room headlined by Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, and Elijah Moore, with Allen orchestrating what Bills Mafia hopes is another top-tier offensive unit in 2025. Advertisement Despite that collection of talent, some still want the Bills to go after another receiver, and one who can be at the top of the depth chart. But Buffalo, per Over The Cap, only has $1.6 million in cap space, and last season proved the offense doesn't need a No. 1 guy; the collection of talent proved it can get the job done. Palmer is the new guy on the block, and he's making a good impression in his new surroundings. Arnold Schwarzenegger reacts to son Patrick's 'White Lotus' nudity: 'This is crazy'

Arnold Schwarzenegger reacts to son Patrick's 'White Lotus' nudity: 'This is crazy' Show Caption Hide Caption 'White Lotus' Season 3 trailer: Rich people and death in Thailand The trailer for HBO's "The White Lotus" Season 3 brings viewers to tropical Thailand and death is in the air. For Arnold and Patrick Schwarzenegger, the apple doesn't fall from the tree, especially in the fruit-bearing department. "The White Lotus" star, 31, and his movie icon father, 77, sat down for a candid joint interview on Variety's "Actors on Actors" series, released on June 3, during which they discussed Patrick's bold breakout role as Saxon Ratliff. A party-loving pool cretin, Ratliff is the poster boy for misguided masculinity on the HBO series' third season. "Saxon leads with his penis; quite literally, that's how he walks," said Patrick of his character's carnal confidence in a February interview with USA TODAY. This also included a scene in which the actor performed in full-frontal nudity. "I couldn't believe (it). I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there,'" Arnold told Patrick on "Actors on Actors." "And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. ... What is going on here? This is crazy." Patrick Schwarzenegger interview: 'White Lotus' breakout star on show, dad Arnold Despite his parental shock, Arnold, who's had his fair share of risqué roles, later reflected on the parallel between his and Patrick's daring career moves. "I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in 'Conan (the Barbarian)'andin '(The) Terminator' and in all of those films, so don't complain about it," Arnold said. "It was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps that closely." The former California governor also gave Patrick props on his acting chops: "Your acting surprised the hell out of me. Not that I didn't know that you're good. ... But it was just unbelievable, the kind of stuff that you did in the show." Patrick Schwarzenegger addresses 'frustrating' nepotism claims The father-son duo attended the Los Angeles premiere of "The White Lotus" Season 3 in February, after which Arnold gave his son a cheeky shoutout on social media. "What a show!" Arnold wrote in a Feb. 11 Instagram post. "I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
