
Event commemorating birth of Zahra at University of Science & Technology
Sana'a - Saba:
The University of Science and Technology - Female Branch and the University Student Forum, in cooperation with the General Mobilization in Sana'a, organized a speech event on the occasion of the International Day of Muslim Women and in commemoration of the birth of Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.
The Director of Student Affairs, Mona Al-Ashwal, stressed the importance of drawing inspiration from the values and morals of Mrs. Al-Zahra and highlighting the status of women in Islam and their role as men's partners in building society through the teachings of religion.
The mobilization official pointed out the importance of this occasion to promote Muslim women's awareness of the dangers of "soft war" aimed at corrupting women under slogans such as women's rights and democracy.
The event also witnessed the establishment of the annual bazaar for productive families, with the participation of 15 local projects over a period of three days, displaying handicrafts, food, health, and cosmetic products, with the aim of supporting Yemeni women and encouraging them to produce and be self-sufficient.

Yemen : 'Masam' Clears 1,139 Explosive Devices During First Week of June
The Operations Room of the "Masam" Project for clearing landmines in Yemen announced the removal of 1,139 explosive items between May 31 and June 5, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to protect civilians from the remnants of war. According to an official statement, engineering teams successfully dismantled 1,080 unexploded ordnance, 56 anti-tank mines, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and one anti-personnel mine. The operation also cleared an area of 146,921 square meters across various Yemeni provinces. Project Director Eng. Osama Al-Qasibi emphasized that "Masam" continues to operate at a high pace to safeguard local communities. He noted that since its launch in mid-2018 up until June 5, the project has removed a total of 498,683 explosive devices from residential zones, farmland, and key transit routes. This achievement comes as the project enters its eighth year, with continued funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center—reflecting Saudi Arabia's sustained commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives in Yemen.

Sacrificial animal distribution project launched in al-Taezeyah district
Taiz – Saba: Taiz undersecretary for Development Affairs Abdul-Wasie al-Shamsi on Sunday launched a project to distribute sacrificial animals to 380 families in al-Janadeya al-Ulya sub-district of al-Taezeyah district.
