Carlos Tevez scores FOUR Soccer Aid goals as Premier League pantomime villain is booed at Old Trafford years on from acrimonious Man United exit
Carlos Tevez scored four goals in 15 minutes — and was widely booed after all of them — during Sunday's Soccer Aid game at Old Trafford.
The 41-year-old is no stranger to the Theatre of Dreams, having spent two seasons at Manchester United between 2007 and 2009.
Tevez enjoyed great success with United, winning six trophies — including two Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League.
But he forfeited his status as a United fan favourite by transferring to rivals Manchester City in 2009.
There were clearly many United supporters in the crowd on Sunday because Tevez was roundly booed when his name was read out over the speaker system prior to his introduction as a second-half substitute.
England were leading Tevez's World XI 2-0 at this point. But then came a flood of goals, with each of the ex-Argentina forward's strikes roundly jeered.
Former professionals Joe Hart and Edwin van der Sar had kept goal in the first 45 minutes, but they were replaced by celebrity stoppers Nicky Byrne and Paddy McGuinness at the interval.
Comedian McGuinness was no match for the clinical finishing of Tevez, who scored 84 goals in 201 games during his Premier League career.
Tevez's four goals drew the World XI level at 4-4 before celebrity Big Zuu netted a late winner.
Wayne Rooney had earlier opened the scoring in front of the Stretford End, before ex-Lionesses star Toni Duggan doubled the home side's lead.
Jermain Defoe then bagged a brace in a second half that belonged to Tevez.

Sam Thompson, 32, leaves Soccer Aid afterparty with sports presenter, 23, after surprise appearance as a sub
Sam brushed off the awkward moment with Louis Tomlinson and partied into the night Hotel Hustle Sam Thompson, 32, leaves Soccer Aid afterparty with sports presenter, 23, after surprise appearance as a sub Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SAM Thompson made a surprise appearance as a substitute during this year's Soccer Aid - but it was his post-match antics that really got fans talking. The reality TV star, 32, was later spotted leaving the glitzy afterparty hand-in-hand with a glamorous 23-year-old sports presenter. 5 Sam was seen departing the Soccer Aid party at Hilton Manchester Deansgate with sports presenter Jolie Sharpe Credit: BackGrid 5 Sam looked in high spirits as he slipped away with Jolie following the charity clash at Old Trafford with Zara McDermott's new man Louis Tomlinson Credit: BackGrid Sam was spotted leaving the swanky Soccer Aid afterparty at Manchester's Hilton Deansgate with stunning sports presenter Jolie Sharpe on his arm - just hours after England's narrow defeat. The Made in Chelsea star looked in high spirits as he slipped away with Jolie Sharpe following the charity clash at Old Trafford, where rapper Big Zuu sealed a dramatic 5-4 win for the World XI. Despite coming face-to-face with ex Zara McDermott's new flame Louis Tomlinson on the pitch, Sam brushed off the awkward moment and partied into the night - as Soccer Aid raised a whopping £15million for Unicef. Jolie turned heads in a white ruffled mini skirt and denim jacket and was snapped leaving the hotel with Sam, with insiders claiming the pair have been 'good mates for a while.' The I'm A Celeb champ kept it cool in a dark grey co-ord and crisp white tee, finishing the laid-back look with a pair of stylish trainers. Jolie, who runs her own successful marketing firm JGS Live, boasts a seriously impressive CV - her agency is an official TikTok live selling partner and has worked with heavyweights like British Airways, Chelsea FC and The Economist. Meanwhile, Sam, 32, and Louis, 33, reportedly thrashed out a "peace dinner" at Champneys in Tring alongside teammates, to avoid any bust-ups ahead of kick-off - after Louis struck up a romance with Sam's ex, Zara McDermott, 28. Despite the heartbreak on the pitch, both lads seemed in good spirits as they arrived back at the Hilton to cheers from fans. Sam, who had previously pulled out of playing due to injury following his gruelling 260-mile challenge, made a surprise cameo in the closing moments - just after Louis had left the field, dodging a potentially awkward showdown in front of the packed stadium. A source told The Sun: "There is no beef between the pair and they're both going to ensure their love lives don't distract from such a big charity spectacle. Sam Thompson makes surprise Soccer Aid appearance as he comes on as a sub just days after pulling out with injury "They are fully aware that their every move is being scrutinised and they've broken bread with their teammates, so it'll be smooth sailing on the day." Instead of lacing up his boots, Sam stepped into a new role on the sidelines - joining England's management team after being ruled out with a torn calf. Speaking to This Morning's Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary live from Soccer Aid HQ, he said: 'I'm still very sore, still got the torn calf, however I am here at Soccer Aid HQ and it does not get better than this. 'We've still got the management team of England, we've got Vicky McClure, Tyson Fury who's stepping into some new shoes, and Harry Redknapp.' 'But also, because I'm not going to be able to run around, you've got me - part of the management team. Come on baby!' Sam's appearance comes months after his split from former Love Island star Zara after five years together - with it later revealed in March that she'd moved on with pop star Louis. 5 Jolie is a sports enthusiast and presenter who interviews athletes like Yuki Tsunoda on her social media posts Credit: Instagram 5 Sam and Louis reportedly thrashed out a "peace dinner" before the match Credit: Getty

All the clues Zoe Slater star Michelle Ryan is making a bombshell return to EastEnders TONIGHT after 20 years away
EASTENDERS is set to reveal a massive surprise in tonight's episode and all the clues are pointing to it being the return of Zoe Slater. The Sun exclusively revealed how the iconic character is set to make a shock comeback 20 years after actress Michelle Ryan quit the soap. And with today's episode being held back from an early iPlayer release for new boss Ben Wadey's first episode - here are all the signs that point to Zoe's return. We know she's coming back The Sun revealed last month how Michelle Ryan was making a bombshell comeback as her iconic character. A source said: 'Bosses have repeatedly reached out to Michelle over the years, but the timing has never been quite right. 'People are still talking about her character, so it's a real coup to bring her back. 'She feels like now is the perfect moment — and there was an exciting script on the table.' But is she back tonight? It's an anniversary As we all know EastEnders loves an anniversary. It's been 20 years since Zoe's exit, and 25 five since the Slaters arrived as a big new family. With Kat taking over the Queen Vic - it's clear new boss Ben Wadey intends for the Slaters to be at the centre of the show once more. So what better way to do that than bring back to prodigal daughter? EastEnders' Kat Slater calls her estranged daughter Zoe Slater who left 13 years ago Teasers The BBC knows how to give good tease for storylines. And after a rock few years, it got its mojo back with the flashforward and The Six storyline - but now it needs something new. Videos posted onto the soap's social media have dropped a few hints that Zoe's return is imminent. One video features the distinctive sound of a woman's heels clacking through the Square. Another shows a poster with three letters standing out - Z, O and E. New boss teases 3 Ben Wadey, EastEnders Executive Producer said: 'Next week marks the start of something big in Walford that we hope will get everyone talking, and it's only just the beginning. 'We've got twists, shocks, and plenty of drama lined up for a summer you don't want to miss.' Could it be anything but Zoe at this point? Spoiler hints 3 This week we know that Alfie will get a phone call from Stacey and have a 'problem to contend with'. In tomorrow's episode, Alfie is revealed to be 'elsewhere' as Kat desperately tries to contact him. By Wednesday, Kat has spoken to Alfie but feels he isn't being completely honest with her. And Thursday, when it's time for them to make their marriage official, things go from bad to worse as Alfie says he has to fly to Australia to see his brother Spencer as he's not coping. All this suggests that Alfie will be connected to the big mystery - in one big way. Alfie's brother Spencer's ex Kelly is Zoe's best pal - and when she left two decades ago, she was likely pregnant with his child - and Spencer had no idea. The fan theory is that Kelly has now died and Zoe will return with the now grown-up child of Kelly and Spencer - hence Spencer struggling.

'This is low-key harassment!' Chris Brown is accused of performing a 'sex show' with female concert goers as he grinds on them and KISSES one in shock scenes on tour after arrest
Chris Brown has been accused of 'harassing' female concert goers with a 'weird sex show' segment during his current tour which arrived in the UK on Sunday. During his show, the singer, 36, invites a female concert-goer up on stage as part of the performance, before grinding on them and even kissing one on the lips. Chris welcomes a member of the audience up on stage during his rendition of Take You Down, where they are laid out on a red velvet sofa throughout the song. The American star has been filmed thrusting against the women and even appeared to smooch one of them during a recent show in Hamburg, Germany, last week. During his first show in Manchester on Sunday night, Chris welcomed another woman up on stage who he was seen grinding against during the track. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Chris returned to the English city to perform, weeks after he was arrested there over an alleged nightclub bottle attack. Chris released on £5M bail and is due in court on Friday, but despite his legal woes he made a cheeky quip about his arrest during the latest stop of his Breezy Bowl XX tour at the Co-Op Live Arena. He told the crowd: 'I just want to tell you all, I love you all to death, I am so thankful that I could come out here tonight'. 'Thank you all for having me and supporting me and thank you to the jail, y'all was really nice!' he said while flashing a smile. Later in the gig, Chris asked a woman to join him on stage for the segment, where he was seen again gyrating against her in a sexual fashion. The move appears inspired by fellow rapper Usher, who introduced a track where he feeds cherries to female audience members in a sexually-charged exchange. Social media users have condemned Chris' behaviour and advised the controversial rapper to 'keep it clean' following his recent troubles. They also hit out at his fans for 'setting us back a few centuries' for supporting his behaviour. Sharing their thoughts on X, people said: 'Lol you b****s being down bad for abusers is setting us behind a few centuries'; 'I will never understand why anybody gives this rotten a******e attention'; 'It's such a bad idea to be doing this... he should have kept it clean. Next thing lawsuits'; ''Is this... Chris Brown!? Who in the WORLD is letting this man touch them!? Why!? What is happening????'; 'Is this a sex show or a concert plus kids go to his show @Ticketmaster you need to make all Chris Brown shows 18 plus from now on'; Is that Chris Brown? Y'all don't give a f*** about feminism or women. He is an abusive p**** 'Am I too woke if I said that this is lowkey harassment? Like I genuinely don't want him to do all that it feels so weird just sing and give me a hug idk'; 'If cancel culture is real why does Chris Brown keep popping up on my timeline I hate that MF for real.' Many drew comparison between Chris and pop star Sabrina Carpenter, as they questioned why she was coming under fire for a racy album cover when he was behaving like this. Sabrina announced her new album Man's Best Friend on Wednesday, but the cover art for the upcoming release sparked fierce criticism from fans. The album cover shows her on all fours while a person dressed in black slacks — whose face is not visible — pulls her blonde hair. She also posted a close-up image of a heart-shaped dog collar engraved with Man's Best Friend. The highly sexualised and provocative album art quickly drew backlash. While many accused Sabrina, for 'setting back feminism', others surmised that it was a playful attempt at Sabrina toying with her image, how people perceive her, and how she chooses to respond. Making comparisons between the two, some said: 'In a world where Sabrina Carpenter is criticised for her own self expression Chris Brown is selling out arenas there is no hope for women'; 'So this is what happens at Chris Brown's concert, but you still want me to believe Sabrina's album cover is the problem???'; So when he does this it's wild and cool but when Sabrina does a Juno position u guys start calling her a w****. 'A gazillion think pieces about how Sabrina Carpenter is 'setting women back' meanwhile Chris Brown is on a sold out tour, where his BIT is an abuser grinding on women on stage. Ok. 'If cancel culture is real why does Chris Brown keep popping up on my timeline I hate that MF for real.' The hitmaker was was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw during the alleged assault at the Tape club in Mayfair in February 2023 Shortly after Chris was released on remand from prison last month, he posted a story to Instagram to tell his 144million followers: 'From the cage to the stage!!!', adding the the name of his tour. His passport was held by lawyers and police until he needed it in an arrangement that will allow him to fulfil tour dates in Europe, the US and Canada, a court heard. The conditions of his bail mean that he must reside at an address in the UK and can only access his passport when he needed to travel for a tour date, Heidi Stonecliffe KC, prosecuting, said. Stonecliffe told Southwark Crown Court his passport would be held by the police until his international dates, then it would be collected by a solicitor from law firm Hickman & Rose, before being returned to Chris so he can travel to the US. 'The passport is to then be lodged with a US lawyer named Mr Matthew Cayman. We have checked his details and he does exist,' Ms Stonecliffe said. 'It will be held by Mr Cayman until August. Then Mr Brown travels to Canada. It will be held by Mr Cayman during his US tour then Mr Brown returns to the UK and his passport will then be held by a solicitor. 'What we then propose is that we have a further case management hearing on October 24.' Other bail conditions include not to attend the Tape nightclub or contact his co-accused, Dallas rapper Omolulu Akinlolu, 38, the complainant or any witnesses. Chris is claimed to have injured music producer Mr Diaw in an unprovoked attack when the singer and his entourage were at a club night called Dirty Martini. Before the latest hearing, Adele Kelly, deputy chief crown prosecutor for CPS London North, said: 'We have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Chris Brown with one count of grievous bodily harm, contrary to section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861. 'The alleged incident occurred in London on February 19, 2023. He will have his first court appearance on Friday, May 16 at Manchester Magistrates' Court. 'The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against this defendant are active and that he has the right to a fair trial. 'It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.'
