This is the horrifying moment that a car crashed into a crowd of spectators at a drag-racing event.
Four people have reportedly been left in a life-threatening condition following the incident in Krosno, south Poland.
Footage posted by Polish outlet Remiza shows a 27-year-old driver losing control of a green BMW shortly after pulling away from the start line for the quarter-mile race.
The vehicle can be seen swerving to the left before skidding in the opposite direction and heading straight for a crowd of spectators before the driver managed to bring the car to a halt.
At least 17 fans have been injured as a result of the accident, which saw more than 10 rescue teams called to the scene at 12.30pm local time.
Firefighters and an air ambulance crew from Krakow have also arrived at the scene.

A post from the local fire service on social media read: 'Nearly 30 firefighters (9 deputies) from the Krosno district fire department are providing assistance to the victims of an accident that occurred on the apron of the Krosno airport during a car race.
'PRM rescuers and firefighters provided assistance to 14 people.'
Polish media report that there have been no fatalities so far, with investigators currently attempting to determine the cause of the accident.

A six-year-old boy, who has not been named, also died in the collision. Five other children were injured and have now been discharged from hospital. No arrests have been made. Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Lyndsey Blackaby, of the serious collision investigation unit at Thames Valley Police, said: 'My thoughts, and the thoughts of everyone at Thames Valley Police, are with the family and friends of Othniel Adoma. 'Othniel's family has released these beautiful pictures of Othniel in his memory. Othniel's family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.' South Central Ambulance Service said it was first alerted to the crash at 2:24pm, with its first units arriving at the scene eight minutes later. Five critical care units, including two air ambulances, attended the incident along with six ambulances. In the aftermath of the crash, police confirmed the first child had died in a social media post. Police said: 'Sadly, a child died in the collision and our thoughts remain with the family who are being supported at this extremely difficult time.' Elsewhere, three people were taken to hospital following a crash involving two motorbikes in the far north of Scotland. Officers were called at around 11am on Thursday to a report of a crash involving a Kawasaki motorbike and a BMW motorbike. Emergency services attended and the 51-year-old male rider of the Kawasaki was taken to hospital, along with a 56-year-old man who was the rider of the BMW and a 64-year-old woman who was his passenger. All three were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Sergeant Douglas Scott said: 'Our inquiries are continuing into this crash and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact us. I would also ask any drivers on the road with dashcam from around the time of the crash to review their footage and please contact us if it holds anything relevant. Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting incident 1124 of 5 June.'

Gatwick Airport horror as body found on backseat of BMW 'abandoned months ago'
The vehicle is reported to have been parked in an inductrial estate for around eight months. A dead body has been found on the back seat of a car a mile away from Gatwick Airport. The white BMW had reportedly been parked on the Crawley industrial estate since October before cops found the corpse on Friday. Ticket inspectors had believed to have been in the vicinity of the vehicle, slapping it with a ticket, but failed to notice the body inside. Locals said they contacted Crawley Borough Council on multiple occasions to report the parking violation. On Friday, forensic officers were seen at the estate on Whittle Way in Northgate, which is around a mile from the major international airport, reports the Mirror. The local council's warning notice, which was issued on May 19, detailed how the car was "untaxed" and threatened it would be towed unless moved in a week. However, checking the government's vehicle tax site, it is actually taxed until January 1 next year. It also has a valid MOT until November 25. The alarm was raised on Friday when a recovery driver, who turned up to tow the car, contacted the police about a possible body inside. It's still unclear how long the remains had been sitting in the vehicle, but locals claimed the dust-covered vehicle had been there since October. Sussex Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious, adding that the identity has not yet been established. In a local Facebook group, one person said: 'I reported it about four months ago but the council only put stickers on it - but it has been there for eight months now.' Another added: 'Been there since before Christmas.' One local resident explained what the recovery driver saw when he arrived. He allegedly "saw a man on the back seats, with a blanket over the front two seats to build a 'barrier' across as he was lying on the backseat - most likely was sleeping in the back'. A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were called to Whittle Way in Northgate, Crawley, at around 10.30am on Friday, 6 June, to reports of a body found in a vehicle. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the individual and establish the full circumstances of the situation."
