Authorities are anticipating fans will take over Glasgow Cross when the club is presented with the Scottish Premiership trophy again this month.
Talks between the council, officials from Celtic and Rangers and Police Scotland were held following last year's gathering.

The Glasgow Times has discovered there was a meeting between the council, Police Scotland and Celtic FC at Celtic Park in February this year.
But there have been no official meetings with anyone representing supporters.
Celtic captain Callum McGregor will lift the trophy on the final day of the league season on May 17, the fourth year in a row the club has been crowned Scottish Champions.
In previous years, following the match, fans have congregated in their thousands at Glasgow Cross and Merchant City, celebrating trophy day.

Businesses have complained and residents' groups angered at anti-social behaviour from a section of the fans.
The council has asked people to behave if they gather and celebrate responsibly, and a top level meeting was organised by MSP, Kaukab Stewart, in February.
At the meeting were Celtic, Rangers, Police Scotland, Merchant City and Trongate Community Council and Scottish Government. There were no fans reps attending.

The Glasgow Times asked under Freedom of Information for details of any meetings between Glasgow City Council and supporters' organisations connected to Celtic Football Club in the last year.
We were told: 'There have been no meetings between the Council and representatives from supporters' organisations connected with Celtic Football Club, during the period 1 May 2024 to present.'
Nor has there been any attempts to meet with fans, instead the club has been looking for clubs to engage with their supporters and associations.
The Glasgow Times also asked for details of meetings between the council and Police Scotland to discuss fan celebrations in the city centre.
We were told: 'On 14 February 2025, Council Officers met at Celtic Park with officials from Celtic and Police Scotland to discuss fan celebrations.'
An online meeting was also held between the council and Celtic FC on November 28 last year
The response also stated: 'This has also been discussed on a number of occasions as part of regular operational meetings between Police Scotland and Council Officers.'
Rangers fans gathered in George Square in 2021 when their team last won the league and damage was caused to benches and statues and more than 50 arrests were made.
We asked the same questions for meetings between the council and Rangers fans and received the same response that no meetings had taken place.
An online meeting between the council and Rangers FC took place on October 31 last year, and a meeting took place at Ibrox on February 6.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: 'Glasgow is a great sporting city - and fans should have the opportunity to celebrate success.
'However, there can be absolutely no justification for celebrations that lead to the kind of disorder, vandalism and violence that has been a persistent feature of gatherings at Trongate and George Square at the conclusion of recent football seasons.
'We have heard and we share the frustrations of local businesses and people living in these neighbourhoods.
'The council has made it clear during its engagement with clubs and stakeholders that it would be in the best interests of the city, its sporting institutions and above all local communities for all parties to use whatever influence they have to encourage fans not to gather in that manner.
'We have been engaging on this subject, consistently, over recent years – and we will continue to do so right up to the end of this season. At the same time, the council has always been clear that it will support any efforts made by clubs to organise or host sustainable and safe celebrations for supporters.'

I told Nygren to turn down Euro giants, here's how he'll do at Celtic
The Parkhead club are said to have beaten Belgian side Anderlecht to the signing of Nygren, who scored 16 goals in 32 games for Nordsjaelland last season. Read more: And now, Mats Gren, who was previously sporting director at Swedish side IFK Gothenburg, has revealed that Nygren had trials at Inter Milan, AC Milan and Bayern Munich, along with a club in England. Instead, he chose to join Genk in a £4 million deal. Gren recently spoke to SunSport: "We took him into the first team at IFK and he was fantastic in pre-season and started to play," he said. "When someone that young begins to play regularly then of course there is a lot of interest in them from around Europe. "Benjamin always had a really nice touch on the ball and great skills. "During that time, he travelled to so many big clubs for visits. They all wanted to sign him. "He was at both of the Milan clubs in Italy, he went to England and also visited Bayern Munich. "There were so many options for him but in the end, he decided to go to Belgium and sign for Genk. "I had a lot of discussions with his father at that time and I told him, 'Go to a club where he has a chance to play'." Nygren appears set to become Brendan Rodgers' second summer signing, and Gren believes he has what it takes to succeed at Parkhead, much like several of his Swedish predecessors: "I am not surprised that there is interest in him now and I think Celtic would be a good next step for him," he said. "I know all about Scottish football. I played against Rangers in the Champions League with Grasshoppers. "I have also been to Scotland to visit places like Glasgow and Edinburgh on holiday. "It's a nice country and I have watched a lot of the football there. "Moving to Britain would be a sensible next step and he would also have the chance to play European football at a high level. "You look at Celtic's history and there have been a lot of Swedish players who have done well there. "Henrik Larsson, Johan Mjallby and Mikael Lustig have all done extremely well and maybe Benjamin can be the next one. "The style of Scottish football really suits Swedish footballers and I am sure he would do well at Celtic."

Odsonne Edouard to Celtic transfer return given thumbs up but one major stumbling block cited
French Eddy has been deemed surplus to requirements at FA Cup-winning Crystal Palace Scott Allan insists Celtic shouldn't think twice if an opportunity arises to re-sign Odsonne Edouard. Brendan Rodgers has already brought returning heroes Kieran Tierney and Jota back to Parkhead after stints elsewhere. Edouard, 27, flopped on loan at Leicester City and has no future at Crystal Palace as he enters the final year of his deal. The former PSG striker - who swapped Celtic Park for Selhurst Park in a £14million transfer four years ago - was prolific in Glasgow. Rodgers even labelled the Frenchman as one of the best young players he had worked with after shelling out a then-club record £9m to turn his season-long loan into a permanent deal in 2018. And when asked if he should be on Celtic's radar this summer, Allan told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: "I would, yeah. Fantastic player. It's obviously a position that Celtic will be looking to add to. "I think we might see Daizen Maeda go back out to that wide area, where he was so effective in terms of his pressing and getting up and down the pitch. "He'll be looking to add to his goal tally come next season. I think there's no question that it's an area of the park where Celtic need to strengthen." A potential stumbling block could be Edouard's lucrative salary at the Eagles, something Allan believes could be a deal breaker. The ex-Hoops midfielder said: "I think the problem with the boys that are playing in the Premier League is that there's now the chance to go to the Saudi League where they can earn ridiculous amounts of money. "The Kieran Tierney one is completely different because he's a huge Celtic fan and he's been dying to get back home and probably feels like he's got unfinished business at Celtic. "So it'll be interesting but I do feel that Celtic will be looking to find the next Odsonne Edouard where they can get a tune from them and then make money from them."
