Love Island bosses line up stunning model from Manchester just days ahead of ITV launch show
Love Island bosses have reportedly lined up a glamorous model to star in the ITV show, but viewers will have to wait and see if she'll be an OG castmate or a bombshell.
Shakira Khan, 22, from Manchester is the second female revealed for the upcoming season, which begins next month.
The stunner's Instagram page is filled with picturesque travel snaps from Haiti, Dubai and New York - and she's not afraid of modelling a bikini.
The model will join Liverpudlian makeup artist, Lucy Quinn, 20, after MailOnline revealed ITV had signed her for the new series.
A source told The Sun: 'Shakira is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and will land a place in Love Island's history books as a real beauty.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
'Execs are finalising who will be in the OG line-up and who will be a bombshell, but Shakira is in the mix.
'And viewers will be hoping she's there to stay.'
Host Maya Jama, 30, stars in a brand-new trailer to tease the series that marks a decade since the show was first broadcast demanding 'bigger and bolder ideas' from a boardroom of executives.
She says: 'This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more make-ups, I want more twists, I want more twists than ever.'
As well as the summer instalment, Love Island is celebrating 10 years on screen with an anniversary special where Islanders from the past will return to share their experiences having appeared in the famous villa.
Shakira, Scouse makeup artist Lucy, who regularly shares photos of her beautified clients on Instagram, is set to join the new Love Island cast this summer alongside 6ft5 personal trainer Aaron Buckett.
A TV source told MailOnline: 'Lucy is single and ready to mingle. She can't wait to enter the Love Island villa and is counting down the days until it becomes a reality.
'She's fiery and doesn't take any nonsense when it comes to dating but is equally looking for the man of her dreams, hopefully all will come true for her this summer.'
Fitness fan Aaron is also confirmed for the upcoming series and as a 6ft5 personal trainer, he has a lot to offer potential daters.
A TV insider told The Sun: 'Love Island execs are still finalising whether he'll be in the opening line-up or as a tempting bombshell.'
ITV will be revealing the full cast of singletons next week ahead of the show's launch with more twists than ever promised for series 12.
In the new trailer, Maya demands a fresh set of ideas from a boardroom of Love Island executives but rejects their uninspiring suggestions which include moving the show to the Isle of Wight and turning it into a musical.
The presenter, who jet to Mallorca on Monday, shared an image of six suitcases and three bags ahead of her trip to the airport.
Writing on Instagram once she landed, Maya said: 'On holiday until I start Love Island' as she posted videos of herself dancing.
MailOnline has approached ITV for comment.
Love Island: All Stars ended in February with Scouser Gabby Allen winning the title and £50,000 prize pot alongside Casey O'Gorman, who she has since split from.
The couple called time on their romance two weeks ago while runners-up Grace Jackson and Luca Bish remain in a relationship.
Gabby is confirmed to appear on the Love Island anniversary special as she reflects on her appearances both in 2017 and this year.
Love Island: A Decade of Love will also feature chats from series two winners Cara De La Hoyde and her husband Nathan Massey as well as former champions Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who also still remain together.

Euromillions results: Tonight's winning lottery numbers revealed with huge £199m jackpot up for grabs
One lucky ticket-holder could have just bagged the biggest EuroMillions win the UK has ever seen as the winning lottery numbers are revealed. In a record EuroMillions draw, Tuesday's jackpot was an estimated £199 million. If a UK player has scooped the top prize, it would mark the largest win the country has seen, National Lottery operator Allwyn said. Tuesday's National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are 12, 15, 38, 47, 48. The Lucky Stars are 05, 07. No-one won the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday, meaning the top prize rolled over into Tuesday's draw. In around an hour, it will be revealed if the top prize has rolled over again – or if a lucky ticket-holder has bagged the 'massive life-changing win'. They would have become richer than the likes of Dua Lipa, who is worth an estimated £104 million, and Harry Kane, reportedly worth around £91million. If a player has won and they are from the UK, this would land them at the number one spot of The National Lottery's biggest scoops, according to Allwyn. Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, explained: 'If a single UK ticket-holder wins the lot, they'll instantly become richer than the likes of Dua Lipa and Harry Kane whilst landing at the number one spot of The National Lottery's biggest wins.' An Anonymous UK ticket-holder scooped the existing record jackpot of £195 million on 19 July 2022. Just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, won a then record-breaking £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on 10 May 2022. At the time, Joe was a communications sales engineer, and Jess ran a hairdressing salon with her sister. The UK's third biggest win came after an anonymous ticket-holder scooped the £177 million jackpot in the draw on 26 November last year. The winner became immediately wealthier than popstar Dua Lip and Michael Buble, who is worth around £63 million.

Topshop confirms it'll open STORES as website to launch later this year
IN a sea of closures and retail struggle, Topshop is bucking the trend and opening stores this year. The brand aims to relaunch Topshop and Topman for its loyal millennial fans and newcomers, both online and brick-and-mortar. 2 In 2021, Topshop and Miss Selfridge were purchased by Asos, following the collapse of former owner Arcadia. They were sold for a combined price of £330million. But in September last year, Asos sold a 75 percent stake in Topshop and Topman for around £135million to Danish holding company Heartland. At the time of the deal, Asos planned on relaunching and by August this year. Michelle Wilson, MD at Topshop and Topman, told Drapers that the brand has something up its sleeve for August. But that's just the beginning - Topshop and Topman will return to the high street for autumn via a wholesale partner. 'We have something planned in August to bring Topshop back into real life again, with a more semi-permanent presence than the one-day pop-up,' she said. 'In the shorter term that will be something with partner support and in the longer term we will do something standalone." Wilson said she was "excited to see Topshop back in person" and said their collaboration "will surprise people". In April this year, Topshop launched a pop-up at Defected Records and shoppers went wild for it. Pull&Bear Opens New Flagship Store at Silverburn: Fashion Fans Celebrate in Glasgow! They recorded a sale every three minutes, which Topshop bosses have said is proof that there is demand for the adored store. Wilson added that they aren't trying to "recreate" the Topshop that millions knew and loved. She explained that the clothing store will be given a 2025 makeover to allow it to compete with the current climate. Wilson hinted that the shop will offer experiences, much like its industry-leading Oxford Street flagship store. The once-thriving London branch offered nail bars and piercing parlours. Topshop and Topman bosses also revealed that it is "not going after a specific age demographic." However, for the now thirty-somethings whose wardrobes were packed full of Topshop garms in the early 2000s, there's more good news. Traditional favourites like the Jamie and Joni jeans will be here to stay, as well as the new Asos-era bestsellers like the wide-leg Cinch jean. Wilson teased shoppers and said that they should expect Topshop's more casual side, as well as the formal "going out" pieces. In April, Asos CEO José Antonio Ramos Calamonte, announced the return of He said: "The first step of this comeback is This will be a standalone website, which will exclusively sell the legendary brand's clothing and is expected to launch in the second half of the year. Topshop was founded in 1964 youth-focused offshoot of the department store Peter Robinson. It became a leader in trend-driven fashion and was a staple on the high street. Topshop was known for offering affordable, yet stylish, clothing that closely mirrored runway trends. However, the retail landscape began to shift in the 2010s, with growing competition from online retailers and changing consumer habits. The Sun has approached Topshop for comment.

Amy Childs in Towie feud over her wedding as cast are banned from big day
Amy Childs has made it clear that two Towie stars will not be invited to her upcoming wedding to Billy Delbosq. Although the wedding has been postponed due to Amy's mother's ill health, the reality star has already confirmed that two of her co-stars will be excluded when the ceremony does go ahead. 5 5 It comes following a major fallout within the cast that became one of the biggest storylines in the show's history. A source said: 'Amy has said all her Towie family will be invited to her wedding with Billy, bar two cast members. 'Although she said she isn't naming names, it's clear to everyone who knows who those two cast members are…' The source confirmed the two in question are Joe and Junaid. The couple were involved in a highly publicised fallout last year when they began a relationship – despite Joe being engaged to Harry Derbidge, Junaid's then-close friend. The source added: 'Harry's ex-boyfriend Joe and his ex-best friend Junaid caused a huge rift in the cast last year by getting together behind Harry's back. 'While they've done their very best to make amends and try and reintegrate back into the cast fold, Amy has drawn her line in the sand and made her position very clear.' Amy had previously referred to the pair as 'snakes' and her stance has not changed. She and Billy confronted Joe and Junaid in an explosive on-camera scene last year and have remained distant from them since. The most recent series of Towie ended with Joe and Junaid having an emotional reconciliation with Jordan and Sophie, as they were included in celebrations for Joe's 30th birthday. Watch explosive moment Amy Childs confronts Towie co-stars Joe and Junaid However, despite efforts to rebuild relationships, it appears that Amy is unwilling to forgive or forget. Her wedding is expected to go ahead once her mother's condition improves, but Joe and Junaid will not be a part of the day. The Sun revealed in August that Harry and Joe had split just weeks after revealing they'd spoken about getting married. Days later we told how Joe and Junaid had struck up a secret romance. It comes as Amy was forced to set aside her dream wedding to focus on her family. Last week she opened up about the reason behind it, revealing mum Julie had suffered a heart attack. The family has been left rocked by Julie's ill-health - and Amy still has to work and run a home with four children. Our insider said: "Amy is busier than ever with brand deals and filming for Towie and Billy also works full time for his own flooring company. "She and Billy are still having so much work done to their dream home and were in full blown wedding planning for their do at Cliveden Hotel in September. "But then when Amy's mum had a heart attack, their worlds were turned upside down and she became their main focus. "It's a juggling act now between having four children and a house that looks like a bomb site outside. 5 5
