A cyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash that closed a busy Bangor road. The incident happened on Faenol Hill on Sunday.
The route was closed by police as emergency services dealt with the crash. A cyclist was taken by ambulance to nearby Ysbyty Gwynedd.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "This RTC was reported to us at 14:09hrs yesterday (Sunday, 22nd June) and involved a pedal cyclist and a Mazda MX5 on the A487 Faenol Hill, Bangor.
"Emergency services attended and the cyclist was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by Wales Ambulance Service Trust with serious injuries.

The men aged 65 and 69 were arrested on Friday, and have since been charged with 45 offences between them. Operation Spinney has been investigating reports made by men and women of sexual and physical abuse committed against them as children predominantly at the former Coed Glas Assessment Centre, Abergavenny, between the 1970s and 1990s. Detective chief superintendent Andrew Tuck said: "A team of detectives has been working closely with the Crown Prosecution Service and local authorities as part of a long-running investigation into allegations of non-recent sexual offences relating to the former children's home in Abergavenny. Crash that closed A55 for hours left biker with serious injuries
A motorcyclist remains in hospital with serious injuries following a one-vehicle crash on the A55 on Friday evening. The collision – involving an Aprilia RS motorcycle, happened just before 5.30pm at Penmaenbach headland, just prior to the tunnel on the eastbound carriageway. It saw the A55 closed between Penmaenmawr and Llandudno Junction. An air ambulance landed on the A55 as part of the emergency response and airlifted the biker to hospital. Police now want to speak to a potential witness who was driving a Mercedes. "Anybody with information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact officers at the Roads Crime Unit via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 25000507421."
