Rangers 'arrange' friendly against French Ligue 1 side as Russell Martin squeezes in final Champions League warm up game
Reports in France say that the Light Blues will take on Toulouse on July 18
Rangers have arranged a pre-season friendly against Toulouse, according to reports in France.
L'Indépendant say that new boss Russell Martin 's Light Blues will face the Ligue 1 outfit in the modest Stade Saint-Michel.
The 3400-capacity stadium is home to French fifth tier side Canet Roussillon FC.
The report goes on to claim that Rangers will also have a training stint in the Catalonian village of Peralada in the build up to the game.
It is stated the game against Toulouse will take place on Friday, July 18 with a 6pm kick off - days before the first leg of their Champions League second round qualifier.
The French side, managed by Carles Martinez Novell, finished 10th in the 18-team French top flight.
Rangers have a free weekend on the reported date with only two pre-season Ibrox friendlies against Club Brugge on July 6 and against Middlesbrough on July 26 announced so far.
Martin takes his squad to the England national team's St George's Park training facility the day after the Brugge game, meaning he would be free to take them to Europe for a camp.

Second seed Alcaraz, scrambling to cling on to his title, then somehow saved three championship points on his own serve, before incredibly digging even deeper to break back. In the tie-break Sinner edged two points ahead but then started missing, while Alcaraz fired down back-to-back aces on his way to levelling the match. Sinner had never before won a match lasting longer than four hours – mainly because he has never really had to – but he was guzzling the pickle juice at the changeover to try and find more energy. But Alcaraz, having clinched an early break, served for the set only for Sinner to somehow chase down an outrageous drop shot to level the match again. A 10-point tie-break was needed to separate them, an early-evening shoot-out to decide the champion, and by now Alcaraz had his eye in. A glorious winner, a drop-shot and volley and some wayward shots from Sinner helped him race ahead, and a final, spectacular forehand winner sealed an unbelievable victory. Sinner said: 'First of all, congratulations Carlos. It was an amazing performance from you again. It was an amazing battle. 'It is easier to play than to talk right now. Even though it is very difficult right now, it is okay. It is a big privilege for me to be here and to play here. 'For me, Paris is a really special place. I have achieved many great things here. I'm still happy with this one. It is an amazing trophy. 'I won't sleep very well tonight but it is okay.'

Richard King to join St Mirren with Jamaica ace lauded by Steve McClaren on the way to Paisley
The defender was linked with a move to Rangers last January St Mirren are set to pull off the signing coup of Jamaican international Richard King. The Buddies have agreed a fee with Cavalier and are looking to finalise the move in the coming days. It will see the highly-rated 23-year-old defender make the move to Paisley. King has previously been linked with Rangers and has attracted interest from Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham United. St Mirren didn't think they could pull off the deal but thanks to director Jim Gillespie's worldwide contacts he has managed to put a deal in place. Gillespie has led the negotiations while manager Stephen Robinson has been on holiday in America. King has previously had exposure on loan to Icelandic club IBV. It is a move by the ambitious St Mirren board to build the club up and add more quality internationalists to their squad. Jamaican international Steve McClaren has already backed King to go all the way. He has previously tried to get him to England but now St Mirren have stolen a march. McClaren has tipped King for the very top. He said 'It is like Richard King who has got a lot of interest in Europe and the UK. 'I have been banging the drum so that he can step up to whatever level he is put in. 'At the moment, he needs to get off the island and play in a better competition. He has been excellent the last two games and when he came on against the USA. 'I have told every scout in England that they should take Richard King. He might not be for now but that boy will be because he plays to the level he is at. 'So if he comes to the UK and plays in League One or the Championship, if given time he would adapt to that. 'If I was at a football club I would take him because I believe he would be a real asset. 'He is quick and can play to the level. I just hope somebody takes a chance on him.' St Mirren have already signed Killian Phillips and Roland Idowu on permanent deals from Crystal Palace and Shrewsbury Town respectively following impressive loan spells last season.

Sesko is on Arsenal 's shortlist as they look to sign a world-class striker in the summer transfer window, but so is Viktor Gyokeres – and that indecision could cost them. Mikel Arteta 's side know they need to splash the cash to sign a centre-forward this summer, having finished second in the Premier League for three straight seasons and come up short in the semi-finals of the Champions League. They have been monitoring Sesko for some time and came close to signing him last summer – yet their failure to move quickly could come back to bite them. Chelsea have already signed a striker this summer, having beaten Manchester United to the £30million signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich. Yet the Blues might not be done there, with another striker a real possibility. Enzo Maresca's side are currently locked in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of winger Jamie Gittens. They have seen an initial offer of €35m (£29.5m) rejected by Dortmund, but are expected to return with an improved bid in the coming days. However, Sky Sports says they are also pondering whether to push for another striker, with Hugo Ekitike and Sesko on their shortlist. As Mirror Football have reported, Chelsea have reached an advanced stage of talks with Eintracht Frankfurt star Ekitike, who could cost £84m (€100m). But Sesko would represent a cheaper alternative, with Mirror Football understanding that the RB Leipzig striker is available for £60m this summer. Arsenal have held discussions with Leipzig and the Slovenian striker's representatives, yet nothing has been agreed. Arsenal already face competition from United for Gyokeres, who previously played under Ruben Amorim at Sporting, and now face fresh competition from Chelsea for Sesko. Sesko pulled out of Slovenia's clash against Luxembourg on Friday to intensify speculation that he is about to seal a transfer away from Germany. Arsenal asked Leipzig about the possibility of signing Sesko in January, only to be told they would not sell mid-season. The 22-year-old striker scored 21 goals and notched six assists in all competitions for Leipzig last season. But Leipzig finished seventh in the Bundesliga to miss out on European football for 2025/26 and the time has come for them to cash in on their star player. Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is the man tasked with overseeing their transfer plans this summer. As well as a striker, that includes the £5m signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea to provide back-up to David Raya, and the £51m signing of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
