Mamelodi Sundowns' quest to become the most successful South African side in continental football resumes this Saturday when they welcome Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC to Loftus Versfeld Stadium for the first leg of the CAF Champions League final (kick-off at 3pm).
The Brazilians are chasing their second Champions League crown — their last triumph came in 2016 under Pitso Mosimane. This marks their first appearance in the final since that historic victory nearly a decade ago.

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly closing in on a major signing ahead of the 2025/2026 season, with highly-rated defender Ime Okon believed to be on the brink of joining the Soweto giants. The 21-year-old's contract with SuperSport United ends this month, allowing him to leave as a free agent, and Chiefs have wasted no time in making their move.
