Jodie Turner-Smith's Cryptic Post, Joshua Jackson Custody Drama

A few weeks ago, news broke that Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith had finalized their divorce. The pair, who split in 2023 after four years of marriage, agreed to maintain 'joint legal and physical custody' of their 5-year-old daughter, Juno, until a 'specific parenting plan' is negotiated. Last week, it was reported that Joshua, 46, had filed an emergency custody order against Jodie, 38. According to multiple outlets, including People and E! News, Joshua filed a motion on May 30 alleging that Jodie had enrolled Juno into a new school without his consent, and beyond a 45-minute commute from his house, which they'd apparently set agreements around. Joshua also purportedly claimed that he and Jodie have very different ideals for their daughter's education, alleging that Jodie had said Juno's academic experience doesn't 'require a fixed location.' Jodie hasn't publicly addressed the custody order — though she did share a cryptic message to her Instagram stories this week. The Queen & Slim star reposted a meme originally shared by @netflixnmovies that read, ''Why don't you like that person? They seem so nice.' You know who else seemed to be nice,' alongside a bunch of animated movie characters who turned out to be villains. "🤦🏾‍♀️ stay safe out there ⚠️ ,' Jodie wrote alongside the meme. Interesting. We'll keep you posted if anything else unfolds.
