LOVE Island USA star Yulissa Escobar appeared bleary-eyed in a mug shot for a 2024 DUI arrest and admitted to drinking at a tequila bar before getting behind the wheel.
Yulissa, 27, appeared on the show's current season for the premiere episode and was kicked off after a video of her making racist remarks resurfaced on social media.

In the incident report exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Yulissa was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Miami.
In the July 24, 2024 report, an officer spotted a black Acura that was 'all over the roadway' and 'unable to maintain a lane.'
The car 'nearly at times collided with the median concrete wall.'
The incident report read, 'The defendant was observed to have bloodshot, watery eyes, and I could smell an odor of an unknown alcohol beverage emitting from inside the vehicle.'
She told the officer she was coming from her job at Pilo's Tequila Garden.
Yulissa told the officer that she had nothing to drink and claimed to have been 'driving normally.'
The officer had her step out of the vehicle and asked if she would be willing to perform standardized field sobriety tests to determine if she was okay to continue to drive.
'She ultimately agreed to perform the tests,' the report read. 'As the Defendant spoke to me, I could smell an unknown odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her face and mouth area.
'When asked again if she had consumed any alcoholic beverage, the defendant stated that she had a shot with one of her clients at work.'
The officer noted she was unable to keep balance while listening to instructions, started before instructions were finished and used her arms for balance.
During the one-leg stand she swayed while balancing, used her arms to balance and put her foot down.
The report continued to allege, 'The defendant was advised that she was being arrested for driving under the influence. At approximately 3:57am she was placed in handcuffs with a double lock.'
She refused to give a sample of her breath to determine the blood alcohol content.
'The defendant was allowed to call her family members to pick up her car,' the report read. 'While speaking on the phone with her family, she made multiple spontaneous statements about her drinking and driving.'
She was booked and charged with DUI.
She paid a $1,000 bond.
In her mug shot, she appeared solemn and bleary-eyed.

IN COURT
Yulissa pleaded not guilty to the charge against her in court, calling the arrest "unlawful."
A jury trial was set in the case.
But then on March 19, 2025, Yulissa waived her right to a speedy trial and agreed to the Back on Track Program.
The terms read, 'If you are accepted by the State Attorney's Office and comply and successfully complete all conditions of the Back on Track Program, you will then be able to enter a plea and receive a withhold of adjudication on a reduced charge of reckless driving."
The length of participation is 12 months for a DUI-tier II and she will receive a suspended sentence, which means no jail time.
Her next court hearing is April 6, 2026.
Yulissa did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun's request for comment.
OUT OF THE VILLA
Yulissa was cut from the villa off-camera in just the second episode of the season before any of her fellow Islanders had even woken up.
She had been an original islander on season 7 of Love Island USA, which premiered earlier this month.
Her exit came after old podcast clips emerged on Reddit, showing Yulissa using the N-word while talking about her ex-boyfriends.
Last week, Yulissa broke her silence over social media when she returned home from Love Island USA 's villa.
She wrote on Instagram, "First, I want to apologize for using a word I had no right in using. Podcast clips from years ago have recently resurfaced, and I want to address it directly.
"In those clips, I used a word I never should've used, a racial slur. I used it ignorantly, not fully understanding the weight, history, or pain behind it. I wasn't trying to be offensive or harmful, but I recognize now that intention doesn't excuse impact. And the impact of that word is real. It's tied to generations of trauma, and it is not mine to use.
"At the time, I was speaking casually in conversation, not thinking deeply or critically about what I was saying. But that doesn't take away from how wrong it was. The truth is, I didn't know better then, but I do now. I've taken the time to reflect, to learn, and to grow from that moment.
"I've changed a lot since then, not just in how I speak, but in how I show up, how I carry myself, and how I honor the experiences of others. Growth means recognizing when you were wrong, even if it's uncomfortable, and choosing to move forward with humility and accountability."
She ended, "To those who are disappointed or offended, I understand and I apologize. I am sorry."
She then posted how cancel culture is not "accountability" and is instead "online brutality," as she has received death threats.
She wrote, 'No one deserves to be erased over one moment. For the ones who didn't make it — may you rest in peace. For the ones who are scared to speak — I got you. And for myself — because I'm done staying quiet.
'My name is Yulissa Escobar. And this is NOT where my story ends. One mistake does not define a human. And that moment? Was four years ago. I've clearly grown and I'm just getting started.'

Watch moment laughing dine & dashers run away from restaurant after wracking up $200 bill gorging on shrimp & lobster

THIS is the shocking moment a trio of giggling dine and dashers fleece $200 from a restaurant after munching down on shrimp and lobster. Appalling CCTV footage showed the heartless robbers running away without paying as they laughed like children - sending disgusted social media users into a rage. 3 3 3 The perpetrators took the free meal from local restaurant Phlavz Bar & Grille in University Village, Chicago - after racking up an immense $200 bill. In the upsetting clip, the cruel group can be seen eating near the corner of the outdoor seating area. One tall man is seen making a dash first, before two women follow behind him. The third woman appears to hesitate, but quickly makes a run for it when she realises what is happening. Co-owner of the local business Andrew Bonsu told ABC7: "It's actually disappointing, very disappointing to see that from the community we actually serve. "We pour into the community." The business's other co-owner Phil Simpson emphasised the damage done, saying: "The young lady that was serving that table, she's got kids at home. "She gets a percentage of that tip. "She worked hard to serve that table. They had a lot of food." He added: "We are a small business, and you see this happen so often to different small businesses throughout the city, and you have to do something." The pair took action by posting the group's moronic behaviour to social media. And it didn't take long for the online manhunt to identify the brazen trio. Simpson said that since the insensitive act, he was actually now in contact with one of the thieves. He added that they actually offered to pay the bill after realising how stupid they had been. But he said this was not the first instance of a dine-and-dash happening at his restaurant. He emphasised that his business was struggling to keep up with the costs of goods and services going up - and soulless robberies like these were not helping. The owners filed a police report to get the issue sorted out the "right way" rather than accept the thieves' belated cash. Simpson said: "They apologized. They sent someone to pay the bill, but I declined to accept it. "At that point, we are going to pursue this the right way." In March, a suspected thief accused of stealing nearly $1,000 in sushi and drinks from a restaurant chain was busted after his sneaky dine-and-dash tactics backfired. The suspect, who had been a thorn in the side of two Sushi Confidential locations in California, was caught after he tried to flee once again without paying.

Double trouble: can James Gunn really make two separate Batman movies work?

There was a time when having two Batmen in your cinematic universe would have felt like a clerical error. But in James Gunn's brave and bold new DCU, having several Bruce Waynes is increasingly looking less like an irritating glitch and more like a deliberate choice. Gunn has been clear for some time that he sees no issue with two Caped Crusaders striding into multiplexes at the same time. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is down to the fact that Matt Reeves's The Batman – an insular, noirish, Kurt Cobain-obsessed but relatively real-world take on the Dark Knight – proved pretty popular with audiences just prior to Gunn being handed the keys to the DC kingdom. But who am I to quibble? Sure, this might be a universe destined to feature cavalcades of superheroes who exist in a magical world of shimmering cosplay, but if we can just convince the geek in the street that the Robert Pattinson version of Batman is living in a completely different, gritty David Fincher-esque rat-infested underbelly of Gotham, all will be reasonably well. We may eventually find ourselves living in a world in which cinematic universes are so desperate to stay flexible (and profitable) that they accommodate multiple versions of the same hero at once, without telling audiences why or how they're different; dooming them to a future of confusion, apathy and narrative fatigue. The current suggestion is that the Gunn-produced Batman movie The Brave and the Bold, set within the DCU, will most likely hit cinemas in 2028, while Reeves's sequel to The Batman will exist as a DC Elseworlds story in a completely separate creative space called the 'Batman Epic Crime Saga'. Two Dark Knights, two universes, one comic-book brand. We all know it's just smoke, mirrors and strategically deployed multiversal chaos – but the very thought that we might get two decent Caped Crusaders after decades in which it was pretty hard to grab hold of one at a time might just be enough to have the vast majority of us hyperventilating into our cowls with glee. If DC gets it right. Gunn has been out and about (mostly online) this week as we ramp up to the release of Superman in cinemas, and the most interesting thing he's had to say is that there's no reason Batman villains can't appear in both versions of the Dark Knight's story. 'There's no diehard rule,' Gunn said on Threads, in response to a fan. He also added: 'But both the Crime Saga and DCU are a part of DC Studios, so we of course take everything into account.' This doesn't mean Barry Keoghan's Joker will appear in both The Batman Part II and The Brave and the Bold, but it does suggest that the firewall between Elseworlds and the mainline DCU is not exactly steel-reinforced. If Reeves's rogues' gallery proves too popular, don't be surprised if they start quietly migrating into Gunn's continuity like confused tourists who've wandered into the wrong Batcave. And then there are Gunn's comments in an interview with Rolling Stone that he's not hoping to make The Brave and the Bold's Dark Knight into a 'funny, campy Batman' because this simply doesn't interest him. It's a line that might make us collapse into a nostalgia coma for the days when George Clooney's nipples were at least trying something different. So just how does Gunn make this new Caped Crusader stand out? Perhaps this is why reports suggest that the new DCU big cheese has refused to sign off on a script for The Brave and the Bold until it's absolutely perfect. In fact, this is supposedly the Guardians of the Galaxy director's new mantra for the DCU: that most of Hollywood's superhero-based failures over the past few decades have been down to poor scripts that were never properly finished – and that he's determined not to repeat these mistakes. Insisting on a perfect screenplay is an undeniably noble ambition, especially in a genre where entire billion-dollar franchises have been stitched together from studio notes, deleted scenes and vibes. And yet if Gunn really does believe that two Batmen can coexist peacefully in the same cultural sphere without making audiences feel as if they've accidentally watched the same film twice, it's possible he's never seen The Illusionist or The Prestige, and had to spend time trying to explain to a confused family member which one actually had Paul Giamatti in it.

Showgirls star Gina Gershon reveals she almost BROKE Tom Cruise's nose when he tickled her during sex scene for 1988 classic Cocktail

Gina Gershon has detailed the shocking moment she almost broke Tom Cruise 's nose when he tickled her during a sex scene. The Showgirls star, 63, starred alongside the Mission: Impossible star, 62, on the 1988 classic Cocktail and filmed her very first love scene with him. However, things didn't go exactly to plan as Gina - who was in her 20s at the time - was left fearing her Hollywood career was over when she injured megastar Tom. She recalled how Tom was meant to be under the covers before popping up during the raunchy scene, but she had warned him in advance not to tickle her because she is very ticklish. However, Tom accidentally tickled her while grabbing her waist, leading to her unintentionally lashing out and nearly breaking his nose She told The Guardian: 'Right before the take, he was down there and grabbed my waist in a tickly, sweet manner, I didn't mean to, but I had a kneejerk reaction right into his nose. 'It was full of blood, I thought: ''I just broke Tom Cruise's nose, I will never work in Hollywood again''. 'I was mortified because I really kicked him good, I didn't mean to.' Though she initially feared for her career, Gina said 'gentleman' Tom insisted it was his fault because she had warned him in advance and was very 'kind and sweet' with her. Despite the mishap, Gina said she is still glad that she filmed her first ever sex scene with Tom, insisting he was very 'protective' of her and made sure to put her at ease. Cocktail followed Tom's character Brian Flanagan, who is fresh off a stint in the army and is pursuing a business degree while working as a bartender in Manhattan. He learns the tricks of the trade from his business partner Doug (Bryan Brown) before discovering his friend has slept with his romantic interest Coral (Gina). Brian then moves to Jamaica where he meets Jordan (Elisabeth Shue) and they fall in love, while he continues to battle challenges as he tries to pursue his original dream. While the film was panned by critics, it earned $78.2million domestic ($207.6million in 2024 when adjusted for inflation) and $171.5million worldwide ($455.4 million in 2024), taking the ninth spot on the year-end box office top 10. In another insight into her career, Gina also recently revealed her agents advised her against taking a lesbian role in the 1996 neo-noir crime thriller Bound. Gina, 62, played a lesbian ex-cop who was in a romantic relationship with Jennifer Tilly's character in the Wachowskis-directed film. Speaking on the It Happened In Hollywood podcast, Gina said her agents told her not to play Corky - even telling her the role kill would her chances at a successful acting career. But, impressed by the script and the the filmmakers, Gina went against their advice and joined the cast anyway. She detailed: 'It was a great script and I could tell they were incredible directors, but my agents were like, "We will not let you do this movie. You are ruining your career. We will not be able to let you represent. You will never work again."' Undeterred by their words, Gina shared: 'I just said, "Oh, well, I guess if you can't represent me, I'll go somewhere else." You know? No hard feelings.' The Hollywood actress also took issue with the fact the film was being referred to merely as a 'lesbian movie' - when it spoke to larger issues. 'I said, first of all, it's so shortsighted to say, "Oh, this is a lesbian movie." I mean, they happen to be lesbians,' she said. 'They happen to be into women, but it's really a movie about trust. 'There's a bigger issue, and I really hated that, I thought that was so small-minded and shortsighted. And if that's what we were up against, I was in.'
