Inside, readers can follow the Elska team's nine-day journey to the city through a combination of personal storytelling and intimate photography of a range of ordinary local gay and queer men.
'I have wanted to visit Buenos Aires for years,' says Elska editor, writer and chief photographer Liam Campbell. 'But I just kept putting it off, probably due to the distance and high cost of flights, and maybe some political instability.
'However, last year we ran a vote amongst our annual subscribers to choose any city in the world where they'd like to see us make a future Elska, and Buenos Aires won.
'I had no excuse any longer, so I finally went.'
'I immediately understood why so many people wanted us to feature Buenos Aires,' continues Liam. 'It's a truly wonderful place, absolutely in my top ten cities in the world, but the men there were the real highlight.
'They were gorgeous, easy-going, and incredibly warm. It is this warmth that because the theme for this book, especially in the text — how much warmth they gave, and how I struggled in my Britishness to give them the warmth they deserved in return.'

With plenty of viral videos on TikTok, Slagen is known for sharing her baby-naming tips and opinions online—and from discussing "new mom names" to commenting on monikers related to pop culture (like The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives), it's easy to see why she's become such a sensation. Now, she's revealing which two specific names to avoid in 2025, what general baby naming trends she's not a fan of, and how to tell if you might benefit from using a name "I want to disclaim this because I really do like both of these names—they're popular for a reason," Slagen begins telling Parade. "But being in this job I can't help but try and push people to find a name other than Olivia and Liam (the #1 boy and girl names)." It makes sense that she'd encourage parents to think outside the box."I think it's so fun to try and find alternatives that parents could embrace if they keep an open mind," she continues. "The best way to change someone's mind about a name is a positive association. Of course, we're more likely to have a positive association with popular names so it's a positive feedback cycle."That being said, she has some suggestions for parents who are leaning toward Olivia and Liam."Alternatives can be names that have similar sounds, like Violet, Sylvia, Ophelia, Lydia, Olive or Vivian for Olivia," she explains. "Or names that have a similar style—other elegant, feminine names like Margot, Daphne, Juliet, Leona, Hollis.""For Liam, there are a lot of similar names that are also quite popular; Leo, Levi, Luca," she continues. "I love Cian as a Celtic alternative that is much less common, or Callum for something that's a bit more mainstream."Related: "I almost never support alternative, less common spellings," Slagen reveals. "There are some exceptions to that statement! But for example, spelling Peyton 'Peytyn' to make it appear more unique or feminine. Even when traditionally masculine names are being used for a girl, which is a big trend right now, I prefer their traditional spelling." "It's hard to dislike any of the top, top names; they became popular for a reason and familiarity breeds likeness," Slagen admits. However, "I tend to go Marie Kondo on names that feel like they're heavily trending (rapid rises in popularity over a short time period); thank you for the memories, goodbye," she tells Parade. One recent trend that has legitimately shocked Slagen? "The super macho word names like Crash, Danger and Ryatt," she shares. "Kids can make a name their own no matter what it is, but these names do feel a bit prophetic." Liam Gallagher Has Joined the Oasis Rehearsals and Confirms That Reunited Band Sounds ‘F–king FILTHY'
It is a mere 30 days until Oasis take the stage at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales to kick off their first tour in more than 16 years. The anticipation for the long-awaited reunion of formerly battling brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher has been slowly building as images of band members arriving for rehearsals have leaked out over the past week. And on Tuesday morning (June 3), singer Liam weighed in and gave a very positive assessment of how things are going. 'We have LIFT OFF Rastas sounded f–king FILTHY,' he wrote on X. 'I'll tell thee that there for hardly anything.' When a fan asked if he was nervous to step to the mic, the singer brushed off the question, responding 'Dont be ridiculous.' Not one to get misty about much, Gallagher told an inquiring mind who wanted to know if it was 'emotional playing with everyone' for the first time in 16 years, 'no time to get emotional we have a lot of catching up to do.' By Wednesday morning (June 4), Gallagher was already seemingly getting a bit punchy, inexplicably posting 'MOISTIFICATION for the NATION,' and replying to a question about his 'greatest asset' with the blunt 'My arse.' 'Let's see how this tour goes if we still love each other after it,' Liam replied. And while there is some trepidation that the internal strife that split the family band up in 2009 might rear its ugly head again, when a fan wondered if Tuesday's rehearsal made it feel like the band had 'never split up,' Gallagher affirmed, 'Yeah like it never happened very spiritual.' Some things never change, though. 'How many hours do you rehearse every day,' one commenter wondered. 'I do the set once then I scarper,' Liam said.
