Sophie Cunningham remains sidelined for the Indiana Fever on Tuesday as they take on the Atlanta Dream in a road game at Gateway Center Arena.

The 6-foot-1 was ruled out of the contest due to an ankle injury, which is the same issue that has kept her out of the Fever's previous two games.
Cunningham, however, still joined her team for their road game in Atlanta. In fact, she grabbed a lot of attention as she entered the arena ahead of the matchup. The WNBA could not help but notice how the 28-year-old struggled to follow teammate DeWanna Bonner after the latter struck a pose in her fashion-forward all-black ensemble.
"When the group chat didn't discuss a dress code. DeWanna Bonner pulled up looking runway ready, and Sophie Cunningham didn't know how to follow it up 🤣" the league posted on Instagram.

Cunningham, who sported a much more casual outfit compared to Bonner, was left in shock after seeing her teammate flex her outfit for the cameras as if she were on a fashion runway. Cunningham clearly didn't get the memo, but she was still able to make the most of his time in the spotlight by striking her own hilarious poses.

She then took to Instagram to react to the WNBA's message.
"caption on point," she wrote.
The WNBA noticed Cunningham's shocked reaction, and it also commented on how the Fever failed to coordinate their dress code for the game. Based on her response, it is clear that Cunningham agrees with the league's assessment completely.
Much like she has during past games, Cunningham has been relegated to a cheerleading role from the bench on Tuesday night. She will join Caitlin Clark on the sidelines as the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year also continues to nurse a quad injury.

Both Cunningham and Clark seem to be closing in on their return, though, and both players could be back on the court as soon as Indiana's next game. It will be a big one, too, as the Fever take on the defending champs, the New York Liberty, on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In addition to the group chat, Haliburton also confirmed that the four go on double dates together. Also inside that group chat is a video that has not been released to the public yet. It turns out that Clark is so supportive of the Pacers' star that she records herself reacting to game-winning plays at the end of games. 'I videotaped myself, like, the final play, and I have my reaction in real time. It's a pretty iconic video,' Clark said. 'Maybe one day everybody will see it, but no, not right now.' 4 Caitlin Clark at Game 3 of the NBA finals, along with her Indiana Fever teammates, Aaliyah Boston and Natasha Howard. Both players are the stars of their teams in the Indianapolis market and have helped make their teams even more relevant this past year-plus. The Pacers this year broke a 25-year NBA finals drought with the help of Haliburton. Clark, after being drafted by the Fever, was named 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year and led the Fever to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. 4 Caitlin Clark (L) of the Indiana Fever and Tyrese Haliburton (2nd R) of the Indiana Pacers react in a game between the Western Michigan Broncos and the Butler Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse on November 11, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
