The State of Qatar on 21 May 2025 condemned the Israeli occupation army's shooting of an international diplomatic delegation during its visit to the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, considering it a violation of international laws, conventions, and diplomatic norms.
In a statement on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities, confront Israel's violations and transgressions of international law, and compel it to respect the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which grants immunities to diplomatic missions.

The activists also want to draw international attention to the humanitarian situation on the ground. The Madleen set sail from Sicily a week ago and aims to reach the coast on Monday. On Sunday afternoon, the ship was less than 300 kilometres from its destination, north of the Egyptian coast. Israel attacks kill more than 40 across Gaza
Agencies Gaza Israeli attacks throughout the besieged Palestinian enclave killed at least 41 people on Sunday. This death toll comes from sources at the few remaining operational hospitals in the Gaza Strip. At least three Palestinians were killed and others wounded in Israeli drone attacks targeting Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. One man, Wissam Mohammed Salameh, was killed in the Al Amal neighbourhood. Two others, Salam Khaled Ahmad Murjan and Khaled Ahmad Mohammed Murjan, died when a drone struck a tent sheltering displaced people in the city's industrial area. At least 13 Palestinians were killed and 153 wounded after Israeli troops and US security contractors opened fire on crowds near two aid distribution points – one east of Rafah and another near Wadi Gaza Bridge. Israel's war on Gaza has so far killed at least 54,880 Palestinians and wounded 126,227, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.

Iran condemns ‘racist mentality' behind US president's travel ban
Iran has sharply criticised United States President Donald Trump's travel ban on its nationals and those of several countries, calling it 'racist' and a sign of deep-rooted hostility towards Iranians and Muslims. Trump earlier this week signed an executive order that bars and restricts travellers from 19 countries, including several African and Middle Eastern nations. The policy, set to take effect on Monday, echoes measures introduced during Trump's previous term in office from 2017-2021. In the executive order, Trump said he 'must act to protect the national security' of the US. Alireza Hashemi-Raja, who heads the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' department for Iranians abroad, said on Saturday that the decision reveals 'the dominance of a supremacist and racist mentality among American policymakers'. 'This measure indicates the deep hostility of American decision-makers towards the Iranian and Muslim people,' he said in a statement. The latest restrictions cover nationals from Iran, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
