Yara Sameh
The feature musical "Kiss of the Spider Woman", starring Jennifer Lopez, Diego Luna and Tonatiuh will be getting wide theatrical release on October 10.
The movie had its North American rights acquired by Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate and LD Entertainment.
Also opening on October 10 is Disney's "Tron: Ares", Warner Bros/Legendary's "Animal Friends" with Jason Momoa and Ryan Reynolds, and the exclusive launch of Amazon MGM Studios' Luca Guadagnino thriller "After the Hunt" with Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri.
The Bill Condon-directed "Spider Woman," an Artists Equity production, is based on the book by Terrence McNally and John Kander and Fred Ebb's songs from the Broadway show.
Argentinian author Manuel Puig wrote the original 1976 novel upon which the 1985 Oscar-winning movie starring William Hurt, Raul Julia and Sonia Braga is based.
Luna and Tonatiuh play jail cellmates Valentín and Luis, respectively, in a military-run 1983 Argentinian. Widow dresser Luis keeps Valentín's spirits alive with tales about his favorite actress, Ingrid Luna (Lopez), and the movie musicals she starred in.
Roadside Attractions acquired Gia Coppola's "The Last Showgirl" out of the Toronto Film Festival last year and quickly ramped up awards-season buzz for its lead star Pamela Anderson.
Anderson garnered Golden Globe Best Actress and SAG Lead Actress noms, while Jamie Lee Curtis got Supporting Actress noms from SAG and BAFTA and Miley Cyrus song 'Beautiful That Way' scored BAFTA, Golden Globe and Critics Choice noms.

Top 2025 Summer Fashion Trends: Dark Colors & Unconventional Cuts
Pasant Elzaitony The summer fashion trends for this season are defined by sophisticated and standout details. Dresses, skirts, pants, and tank tops are seen everywhere. However, what truly sets this season apart is how these pieces are paired together. The '90s trend is making a comeback, particularly with the look of pants under dresses and skirts which is an iconic '90s fashion statement. • Unconventional Colors Summer is usually known for its bright, light colors, but this season dark tones are making a bold statement. Shades like brown and burgundy are among the top used colors for the summer palette, along with deep navy blue. At the same time, pastel hues remain popular, and all shades of yellow are trending, from soft butter yellow to vibrant canary. Floral tones, from pink to fuchsia, are also in vogue, alongside enchanting shades of green. • Standout Prints This summer brings prints typically reserved for winter, like large and small plaids, into the spotlight. Stripes, both vertical and horizontal, are also trending, along with polka dots. Animal prints, such as leopard, zebra, and snake, are prominent too. Just choose one pattern and incorporate it into your look whether it's a bag, belt, pants, or a top. • Unconventional Details It seems fashion designers are determined to break out of their comfort zones and take 2025 fashion into bolder, more experimental territory. One striking design features one pant leg and one skirt side in a single piece. Ruffles (seen in dreamy, flowing dresses) are also making a strong comeback. Finally, shine this summer, express your style freely, and mix and match from your wardrobe in a way that reflects your unique personality. Mike Flanagan's "Carrie" TV Series Cast Revealed
Yara Sameh Mike Flanagan's Amazon Prime Video series adaptation of 'Carrie' has rounded out its main cast. Summer Howell (Curse of Chucky), who was reported to be in talks back in April, will play the titular horror teen Carrie White. Matthew Lillard (Five Nights at Freddy's) was also previously reported to be cycling the role of Principal Grayle in May and has now closed on the role. The new cast also includes Samantha Sloyan (The Fall of the House of Usher) as Carrie's mom, Margaret White, Alison Thornton (Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce) as Chris Hargensen, Thalia Dudek (The Running Man) as Emaline, Siena Agudong (Sidelined: The QB and Me) as Sue Snell, Amber Midthunder (FX's Legion) as Miss Desjardin, Josie Totah (AppleTV+'s The Buccaneers) as Tina, Arthur Conti (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) as Billy, and Joel Oulette (Sullivan's Crossing) as Tommy. Flanagan, a modern horror maestro, is set as executive producer, showrunner, writer, and will direct select episodes of the series. Trevor Macy will executive produce. Amazon MGM Studios will produce. Based on Stephen King's debut novel of the same name, the series is described as a 'bold and timely reimagining of the story of misfit high-schooler Carrie White (Howell), who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her father's sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public high school, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.' King's novel has been previously adapted for the big screen, with Sissy Spacek playing Carrie in the 1976 Brian De Palma movie "Carrie", and Chloë Grace Moretz in the 2013 remake. The role marks the latest collaboration between Sloyan and Flanagan, as she has previously starred in his shows 'The Haunting of Hill House,' 'The Fall of the House of Usher,' 'The Midnight Club,' and 'Midnight Mass.' Sloyan also appeared in Flangan's 2016 film 'Hush.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks
