Zoey Stark begins road to recovery after knee surgery

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark has officially entered rehabilitation following successful knee surgery earlier this week. The injury, sustained during the May 19 edition of Monday Night RAW, is expected to keep her out of action for several months, casting uncertainty on the rest of her 2025 season.
Injury occurred during high-stakes match
The incident happened during a Women's Money in the Bank qualifying match involving Stark, Rhea Ripley, and Kairi Sane. Stark attempted her signature springboard missile dropkick on Sane but landed awkwardly, visibly injuring her right knee. She collapsed in pain, forcing WWE officials to remove her from the match and quickly adjust the finish.
According to backstage sources, the fall may have re-aggravated a previously repaired knee.
Stark, 31, was taken for immediate medical evaluation, where surgery was deemed necessary. Fans feared the worst, and those fears were confirmed when Stark posted post-surgery updates from her hospital bed.
Wrestling world reacts with support
Stark took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of her leg in a brace and cast, writing, 'Road to recovery starts now! Day 1.' In a longer message, she thanked fans for their support and acknowledged the emotional impact of the injury.
