Celtic 'eye' move for 16-goal international attacker
The 23-year-old, currently with Danish club Nordsjaelland, is said to be on Brendan Rodgers' radar.
With Nygren's contract set to expire in six months, he could be available for as little as £2 million, according to SunSport.

However, Celtic face competition from Anderlecht and Copenhagen for the versatile forward.
Nygren, who can play as a number 10 or on the wings, has been in impressive form.
Last season, he scored 16 goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances for Nordsjaelland.
He has also earned four caps for Sweden, scoring twice for his national side.
Given his decision not to renew his contract at Nordsjaelland, a move seems likely.
Celtic have also been linked with Callum Osmand, Nilson Angulo, Sondre Orjasaeter, and Michel-Ange Balikwisha.

With just a shoestring budget, Frank took Brentford from the Championship and turned them into a strong Premier League side. The Dane's style of management has been admired by many clubs - including Manchester United, who reportedly considered him as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag last year. But his new home will be North London - largely thanks to one man in particular. Frank had spoken to his wife, Nanna, about giving up on his dream of coaching and instead becoming a teacher. That's when Lange came in. Speaking to the Telegraph five years ago, the ex-midfielder said: "He (Uefa instructor) called me and said, 'What the f*** are you doing? This is your dream job. You need to take it.' "The rest is history." Frank and Lange did not spend much time together at B93 but they would meet again at Lyngby, another Danish club, a few years later. There, they would work alongside Niels Frederiksen and Kasper Hjulmand while honing their coaching craft. Now, almost two decades on from that first job together, they are colleagues once again. As the technical director of Tottenham, Lange would have played a role in bringing Frank to North London. The former Brentford favourite is now tasked with carrying Tottenham up the Premier League table. Despite winning the Europa League this term, the Lilywhites endured a terrible domestic season. They finished the campaign 17th in the Premier League table, just one place above the relegation zone. It was the club's poor form in the league which resulted in the dismissal of Postecoglou. 5

Emirhan Demircan 'rejects' Ranger transfer offer as Bayern Munich starlet links up with pricey Celtic flop instead
Demircan had the chance to stay in Germany or head home to Turkey but has swerved both of those options as well Emirhan Demircan has knocked back an offer from Rangers to join them this summer, according to a report. The former Bayern Munich youngster has left the Allianz Arena as a free agent after his contract expired. Demircan progressed through the ranks in Bavaria after joining from city rivals 1860 Munich as a teenager. But now he's moved on, although he won't be joining the American revolution at Ibrox. Fabrizio Romano, amongst others, claims that Gers were one of the clubs to put an offer to Demircan along with Turkish giants Besiktas and Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim. But the Turkish U21 international has snubbed a move to his homeland as well as staying in Germany to join FC Utrecht in the Netherlands. He has agreed a three-year deal with the Eredivise club and has undergone a medical ahead of putting pen to paper. And he'll team up with former Celtic goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas in Holland. The Greek keeper was a £5million disaster at Parkhead, making just 24 appearances over three years with the club. He was loaned to Utrecht for the 2022/23 season and made the move permanent that summer, and he remains the Dutch club's first choice keeper on a contract until 2028. Arne Engels gets honest over Celtic as 3 things stand out for record transfer as chapter one of journey comes to a close
Brendan Rodgers paid out the big bucks to land the Belgian as he brings reflects on his first campaign in the hoops Arne Engels has offered a honest assessment of his first year at Celtic. Brendan Rodgers shelled out last summer to land the Belgian for a club record fee from FC Augsburg on a four-year deal. He played a key role in the Hoops' double success as he lifted the Premiership and League Cup after hopes of a first season clean sweep were ended at Hampden by Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final and season finale. The campaign has also offered exposure in the Champions League and on the international scene after turning out for Belgium. It's not all been plain sailing for the midfielder, who has picked out three key things from his first season in Scotland. Sharing a video montage of some of his debut campaign highlights to his Instagram account, he wrote: "My first season at Celtic has been a journey filled with highs, lessons, and memories for life. "Whether we were at Paradise or away from home, I felt your energy every time we stepped on the pitch. "Thank you fans, see you all soon." Engels and his Parkhead team-mates will be aiming to complete the Treble next season and make another splash at Europe's top table. Rangers have entered a new era under the 49ers Enterprises following their takeover and Russell Martin is now in charge. The Hoops face a busy pre-season schedule including trips to Cork, Lisbon, Faro and Lake Como. They will also play games on home soil as they prepare for a return to domestic and Champions League action. Rodgers and his troops face a crucial qualifier in order to rubberstamp their ticket to the big time this time around. In previous campaigns they've enjoyed the luxury of direct entry, but they now face one hurdle to join Europe's heavyweights.
