Vehicles used by HM Queen Elizabeth II will be showcased at Toronto Distillery District this weekend
Land Rover Classic has curated a collection of the HM Queen Elizabeth II's state and personal fleet to celebrate the Queen's history with the automaker. Officials say five Royal vehicles will be displayed for the public at Toronto Distillery District this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The display is a tribute to the long history between the Royal Family and Jaguar Land Rover as an official supplier of vehicles to the Royals since 1948, when King George VI choose an original model Land Rover for state and personal use.

Social Sharing A fire that began in a motorhome near Chilliwack, B.C. on Saturday spread to a nearby gas station, sending three people to hospital, with one in critical condition. The incident happened just before noon at a fuel station off Highway 1 on Bridal Falls Road in Rosedale, east of Chilliwack. In a statement to CBC News, B.C. Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) said it received a call at 11:58 a.m. and responded with multiple units, including a critical care helicopter. The person in critical condition was airlifted to hospital and the two others were transported by ground in stable condition, BCEHS said. Hébert) The Chilliwack Fire Department said it was called in for mutual aid support after the blaze spread from the motorhome to the gas station. Assistant Fire Chief Krista Minar said Chilliwack firefighters assisted the Popkum Fire Department, which is leading an investigation into the fire. RCMP also attended the scene. Video shared on social media by Stéphane R. Hébert, who was passing by at the time, shows thick black smoke rising into the air and a motorhome fully engulfed in flames near fuel pumps. "We changed lanes to be as far away from it as possible because it appeared to be burning quite close to the propane tank," Hébert told CBC News. "We were concerned that it might explode and so we wanted to get past it as quickly as possible." CBC News has reached out to the Fraser Valley Regional District for details on the extent of the damage and whether there is any ongoing risk to the area.

2 vintage Saskatchewan streetcars now calling Edmonton home
Two streetcars are the newest additions to Edmonton's collection but represent the oldest form of public transportation in Canada's Prairie cities. Edmonton Radial Railway Society and Fort Edmonton Park on Saturday unveiled two fully restored vintage streetcars: Regina 42, a 1928 passenger streetcar, and what railway society president Chris Ashdown calls the 'big yellow beast,' Saskatoon 200, a 1907 combination snow sweeper and line car. 'To restore these things has taken us over 23,000 volunteer hours for each of these cars … so this is the final event from years of restoration work,' Ashdown told CTV News Edmonton. Regina 42 is one of only a few survivors of a 1947 carbarn fire that destroyed most of Regina's fleet. It was restored to its original operating condition with the aid of manufacturer photos and blueprints. Saskatoon 200 was used in the city it's named after until 1951. It, too, was fully restored but will only be featured in static and demonstration displays. Ashdown said, 'These streetcar systems were the very first public transportation systems in all of these cities, and operated until the late 40s or early 1950s – so really significant. It's interesting that now we're going back to electric streetcars in the form of LRT, like our Valley line.' Edmonton now has 10 vintage streetcars.
