‘Annabelle is not missing': Haunted doll found after online rumors spark panic
The infamous "haunted"
Annabelle doll
has been found safe and sound at the Warrens' Occult Museum, putting an end to a wave of social media rumors claiming the doll had gone missing. Dan Rivera, lead investigator at the New England Society for Psychic Research, confirmed in a TikTok video that the supposedly possessed doll never left its secured wooden case. 'I'm here at the museum right now, and I just wanna show you guys that Annabelle is in the Warrens' Occult Museum. Let's go inside and let's check,' he says in the video.
'Annabelle is not missing. She is not in Chicago,' he added. 'She has never been missing'.
Annabelle goes 'missing', fans claim
The panic began after the real-life Raggedy Ann doll, linked to a 1970s paranormal case investigated by famed ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren, was featured in a U.S. tour called Devils on the Run. The exhibition's mobility led to online speculation that Annabelle had escaped during the tour, triggering fear among horror fans.

The organization later posted on Facebook to reassure the public: 'It's a rumor... Annabelle has NOT been stolen. The doll is safely in place at the Warren Occult Museum.'
Annabelle gained notoriety after the Warrens claimed she was manipulated by a demonic entity and exhibited disturbing behavior like moving on her own and leaving eerie notes. Her story became the basis for The Conjuring film series.
Not a first when Annabelle went 'missing'
This isn't the first time the doll has stirred public fear. In 2020,
Tony Spera
, the Warrens' son-in-law, had to deny similar rumors in another video, assuring viewers that 'Annabelle's here. She didn't go anywhere.'
In a selfie video, Spera said 'I'm here to tell you something, I don't know if you want to hear this or not, but Annabelle did not escape'. He added: 'Annabelle's here. She didn't go anywhere. She didn't take a trip. She didn't fly first class and she didn't go out to visit her boyfriend,' he said as he showed Annabelle in her glass case.
'So here she is. Let's put the rumors to rest, guys.
'I appreciate all the concern. I'd be concerned if Annabelle really did leave because she's nothing to play with.'

Tenali Rama's Aditya Redij reveals who ignited his love for acting; says ‘Shah Rukh Khan's journey has always inspired me'
Aditya Redij, currently seen playing the regal and wise King Krishnadevaraya in Tenali Rama, recently opened up about his beginnings in acting—and the icon who inspired him to dream big. Known for his strong screen presence and layered performances, Aditya shared how acting wasn't something he actively pursued at first—it found him. 'Acting found me before I found it,' he said. 'I was always drawn to storytelling—whether on stage or in front of the camera. What cemented my decision was the joy I felt every time I slipped into a new character. That feeling was addictive—it made me want to dive deeper into the craft.' The turning point in his aspirations, however, came from watching Bollywood's King Khan rise through the ranks. 'Shah Rukh Khan's journey has always inspired me. He came from a non-filmy background, faced struggles, yet carved a place for himself with sheer talent and hard work,' Aditya shared. What resonated with Aditya most was SRK's iconic transition from television to the big screen. 'His transition from TV to films was proof that dreams can come true if you stay focused and believe in yourself. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Watching him succeed gave hope to many of us who started on similar paths.' That's the reason I've been doing different genres. After this, I think I've covered almost all genres—except horror! I believe in exploring roles that are fictional, fantasy, drama, action, and now comedy with Tenali Rama.' As King Krishnadevaraya, he brings a mix of intellect, authority, and warmth—qualities that reflect both his dedication to his craft and the inspirational trail set by the legends before him.
