Forza Horizon Car Pass on PS5 explained, how much it costs and full list of the 42 cars included

Daily Mirror28-04-2025

Forza Horizon 5 lands on PS5 this week as Microsoft continues to release formerly Xbox exclusive titles for players on Sony's console.
PS5 players can finally experience the Forza Horizon series on PlayStation, and there's an avalanche of DLC already available for the port, including the Forza Horizon 5 Car Pass.
Forza Horizon 5 is set to knock The Crew Motorfest from pole position as the best racer on PlayStation, which is quite the feat for an Xbox exclusive. PS5 players won't have to settle for a substitute once Panic Button's port of the game arrives on the console this week, which is set to outshine the Xbox Series X |S version thanks to the performance mode on PS5 Pro.

As for the standard PS5 version, it's practically a 'perfect match' according to Digital Foundry ; the only major complaint seems to be the size of save files, which weigh in at over 2GB – although it is limited to one save file per account. But still.

If you're looking to bolster your content at launch, then the Forza Horizon Car Pass is a good way to do it, with gearheads who are looking to sink some serious time into the game likely to get the best value out of it. Here's what you need to know about the price, how to add the cars to your Garage, and the full Forza Horizon Car Pass list of all 42 vehicles included.
Forza Horizon Car Pass price
If you opted for Premium or Deluxe Editions of the game, you'll find the Forza Horizon Car Pass thrown in as one of your bonus extras (along with three days early access for Premium Edition owners).
For the Deluxe Edition at least, this'll actually save you £10 / $10 / AU$15 compared to buying the standard edition and the Forza Horizon Car Pass separately. But if you are a standard edition owner, you can pick up the Car Pass standalone for £24.99 / $29.99 / AU$44.95.
You can also get the Forza Horizon Car Pass included as part of the Premium Add-ons Bundle which doesn't appear to be on the PlayStation Store at the time of writing, but is mentioned as an upcoming option in the Car Pass FAQ . It's set to cost £29.99 / $39.99 / AU$59.95 when it becomes available.
This includes all 42 cars in the Forza Horizon Car Pas s, Race Day Car Pack, VIP Membership and Welcome Pack.
How to redeem Forza Horizon Car Pass and add cars to your Garage
All 42 vehicles will be available immediately in the Forza Horizon Car Pass. To redeem them, just visit any Horizon Festival Outpost or Player House, then navigate to the Buy & Sell menu, select Car Pass and from here, you can redeem the individual cars or all of the Car Pass cars released to date.

As the FAQ lays out, the first purchased car from the car pass will be free in game. If you want duplicates, you can buy them for in-game credits.
As for adding them to your Garage, there are a couple of options as described in the FAQ.
Option 1
Go to the house menu

Select buy car
Select the paint you want and follow the prompts to buy the car

Vantrue E1 Pro review: Small 4K dash cam now just £103.99 on Amazon

The Vantrue E1 Pro Dash Cam is one of the smallest on the market | Vantrue This article contains affiliate links. One of my favourite things about dash cam technology is the fact that ongoing technical advancements are allowing devices to get smaller and smaller. I've reviewed a few "stealth" dash cams over the years, and the smaller the better as far as I'm concerned. They're the only ones I use in my own vehicles. While I do like a small dash cam, I'm also keen to see a few important features built in. Firstly, they really should have 4K these days. A Sony Starvis 2 sensor would be ideal, please. Obviously a good parking guard system is becoming something of an industry standard, as is decent night vision, and maybe an LCD screen. Imagine my delight, then, to find all these features packed into the extremely small Vantrue E1 Pro. Vantrue is a brand I've tested before, but not for a while, and I'm very impressed to see how far things have come. The camera's size makes setting it up on-screen a bit fiddly, but the app helps | Vantrue Firstly, it's priced very competitively. I've just checked and there's a discount on Amazon, so it's £103.99. That's impressive for a 4K dash cam, let alone an absurdly small one with a trick Sony sensor. That small size does make it a tad tricky to set up. There is a screen, and its as big as it can possibly be, but it doesn't offer any room for touch screen controls, and navigating the settings with the buttons takes some doing. The Vantrue app is a happier place to take on some of these duties in, though, and the WiFi connection worked well and stayed stable. Once set up, you have the option to hard wire it into your car, and this is ideal for the parking monitoring system. This works as well as you might expect, and syncs up to the app easily. Once you've downloaded footage from the dash cam, it's very easy to view them, and the quality is just as good as you'd expect from a 4K Sony sensor. There's an HDR mode that seems to get a bit confused by some lighting conditions, but the night mode works well, and the clarity is top notch. The PlatePix system is a neat touch, and works very well | Vantrue It would have been icing on a cake to have had 60FPS, but it's not a deal-breaker, especially at this price. You'll find the 30FPS adequate, thanks largely to the sensor, and there's a clever "PlatePix" setting to help you pick out details. Although at the slight compromise of some brightness. While it is possible to buy the unit for £103.99 at the moment, it's worth budgeting for a few accessories. A memory card is a great idea, for example, and a hardwire kit costs another £20, but it's worth having to unlock the best bits of the parking system. Altogether this package would cost £173.97, but I think that's actually terrific value for money for such a small, competent dash cam from a quality brand that offers decent customer support and wide availability. Most people will buy a dash cam and stick with it for years, but it honestly is worth checking out the latest technology, if only to downsize to a compact device. The Vantrue E1 Pro has the latest technology, and it's incredibly small. It feels super-modern and works exactly as well as it should, even punching above its weight a bit considering the price. It's definitely one of the best all-round packages I've tested in a while. Selling your car?
