Millions of Brits think they can sing better than Madonna and Justin Bieber – do you think you can?
MORE than seven million Brits think they're better singers than some of the world's biggest pop stars, according to research.
A poll of 2,000 adults found 14 per cent believe they sound better than some of today's top performers – including Justin Bieber, Madonna – and Adele.
And 69 per cent say they sing along at gigs and festivals, while one in 10 (11 per cent) rate themselves an eight out of 10 or higher when it comes to vocal talent.
However, 42 per cent wish they could remove the sound of their own voice or others from videos where it ruins the moment.
And 31 per cent confessed they may have 'enjoyed the gig a bit too much', possibly ruining other people's recordings in the process.
The research was commissioned by Samsung, which has created an 'Audio Eraser' tool on its newly released Galaxy S25 Edge where users can remove unwanted background noise from videos by isolating categories of sound.
Of those who watch their recordings back of gigs, 24 per cent find hearing their own performances funny, while 22 per cent are embarrassed.
However, 16 per cent are impressed by their own vocal range.
And 29 per cent said their singing was worse than they realised once listening back to their footage.

But 49 per cent find it irritating when other people sing along at gigs or festivals when they're trying to capture the moment.
With 59 per cent thinking that bad vocals from fans can ruin an otherwise winning concert video, according to OnePoll.com data.
And 19 per cent have even considered asking someone to stop singing loudly when recording a clip of their favourite song.
Annika Bizon from Samsung, which has also launched an upgrade and rewards programme called New Galaxy Club, added: 'Everyone's been there, watching back that epic gig clip only to wince at hearing your own singalong vocals or the scream from the fan next to you.
"It's all part of the experience, but we get it, you want to relive the moment hearing only the artist you love."

Councillor's joy as grandfather Eric Ravilious' work tops art poll
The granddaughter of war artist Eric Ravilious said she was "delighted" one of his works had been named as the world's best-loved railway artwork from the in 1940, Train Landscape shows the chalk white horse of Westbury, Wiltshire, through the window of a third-class train Ravilious, who is a Labour councillor in York, said it was "really lovely" to hear how many people loved the UK and Railway 200 organised the ballot, which drew votes from around the world, as part of events to mark the 200th anniversary of the modern railway. She said the watercolour may never have seen the light of day however, were it not for her grandmother, Tirzah Garwood, who pieced it together from works her grandfather had discarded."I think my granddad and my grandmother would have been delighted because she had a lot to play in this painting too," Ms Ravilious said."My granddad was a perfectionist in his work and about a third of the pieces he decided weren't worth keeping and in this case my grandmother could see the potential."He had a whole series of paintings that he'd done that he wasn't happy with." Asked why the painting, which is on display at Aberdeen Art Gallery, had topped the poll, she said she believed that era of artwork was gaining popularity."Perhaps it's a bit of a nostalgia for a past. His view of the landscape, other people have described it as evoking a kind of Englishness we all love."Ravilious, who grew up in Sussex, was a painter, designer, book illustrator and wood-engraver who later became a war was the first war artist to die on active service in 1942, meaning Ms Ravilious would never meet him."Sadly in 1942 he was sent to Iceland and he went off on an air-sea rescue mission and the plane never returned."She said he had left a vast amount of work behind."We still have his lovely paintings to remember him by and that's how I know him, through his paintings." ‘Horrendous coincidence': Mark Wright sorry for post after Air India tragedy
Mark Wright, the former The Only Way is Essex star, has apologised for an 'inappropriate' Instagram post shared shortly after the Air India plane crash that killed over 250 people. The post, featuring Wright, his wife Michelle Keegan, and their baby in front of a private jet, complained about leg room on standard planes. Followers criticised the timing of the post, prompting Wright to remove it and explain it was pre-scheduled before the crash. Wright called it a 'horrendous coincidence' and apologised 'for this mistake and any offence caused'. The Air India flight crashed in Gujarat five minutes after takeoff, and a British national was the sole survivor. An investigation has been initiated with UK team involvement.
