The Traitors Episode 1: Uorfi Javed admits she liked Harsh Gujral, latter blames Janvi Gaur for doing 'jaadu tona'

The Traitors, led by Karan Johar, premiered on June 12, and it has already left fans on the edge of their seats. The first episode itself introduced shocking twists, leaving the celebrity contestants in utter shock. As the contestants try to find the traitor and be safe from the traitor, they engage in deep discussions and conversations. Before the game began, the celebs spent time getting to know each other. During this, Uorfi Javed admitted liking Harsh Gujral in the past. Meanwhile, Harsh made a shocking accusation against Janvi Gaur. In the first episode of The Traitors, Jannat Zubair, Apoorva Mukhija, Sahil Salathia and Uorfi Javed were having a conversation. Amidst this, Jannat questioned Uorfi whether Harsh likes her. After this, Uorfi confessed, "Muje Harsh pasand tha ek time pe (I used to like Harsh once). I will not lie. I had told him." Jannat expressed her shock after hearing this. Uorfi Javed revealed, "Bohot pehle. Abhi bhi kuch aisa move on nahi hua. But aisa kuch nahi hai. (Long ago. Nothing moved on. Nothing is there)." Jannat immediately asked, "Move on nahi hua? (You haven't moved on?)." Uorfi then explained, "Move on matlab move nahi hua aage (By move on I mean it didn't move ahead)." Apoorva Mukhija teased her that they should get together. Uorfi said that now she doesn't want to be with Harsh. Soon, Harsh Gujral arrives, and Apoorva starts teasing him. Apoorva compliments Harsh. Uorfi asks him to sit, but the latter refuses. Apoorva pulls Harsh's leg, saying, "Godhi hai na Uorfi ki (You can sit on Uorfi's lap)." Harsh refuses and sits beside Sahil. Apoorva again teases Harsh and said, "Shaadi ke baad hi chuhoge kya bhabhi ko? (Will you touch her after the wedding)" Harsh then touches Uorfi's feet. While these light-hearted conversations occurred in the Palace, Harsh's statement against Janvi Gaur raised eyebrows. As the contestants were guessing the name of The Traitors, Harsh shockingly questioned Janvi, "Muje kabhi kabhi lagta hai aap jaadu tona karte ho. Aata hai na aapko? Kar loge na aap agar karne diya jaaye toh kar loge na? (Sometimes I feel you do black magic. You know it right? You will do it right if you are asked to?)." After hearing this comment, Janvi didn't reply to Harsh. When all left the palace to perform the task, Janvi shared with Maheep Kapoor and Sufi Motiwala that no one was talking to her after Harsh's statement against her. At night, after the task was completed, Harsh teased Janvi for being quiet. She reminded him of the statement that he made. Harsh refused to pass this comment and told her that she had misunderstood. When Janvi told Karan Kundrra and others that Harsh made this statement, all tried to explain to her that Harsh cracks one-liners. These discussions kept audiences engaged in the first episode, along with other shocking elements. The Traitors' first three episodes premiered on June 12 on Prime Video.

Chunky Panday reveals he was once paid to attend a funeral: 'There was no source of income at the time'

Chunky Panday revealed he was once paid to attend a funeral, mistakenly thinking it was a regular event. The organiser told him, 'Agar aap royenge na, toh thoda zyada paisa milega' (If you cry, you will be paid more). Another actor cried and earned ₹50,000 extra. Chunky Panday recently appeared in Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 5, sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar , Riteish Deshmukh , Abhishek Bachchan , Nana Patekar among others. He is also seen in the film 'Detective Sherdil', sharing the screen with Boman Irani , Ratna Pathak Shah, and Diljit Dosanjh. The story centers on the themes of ambition and the lust for power and wealth. Recently, in an interview, Chunky amusingly told how he once attended a funeral solely to make some extra cash. Early Career Struggles and Misunderstanding In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chunky reflected on a memorable experience from earlier in his career. He admitted, 'That was my mistake. Yes, I attended the funeral, but not out of choice. See, in those days, there was no source of income for actors besides going to events or doing movies. There was no YouTube, Instagram, or even ads at that time, as it was a different era." He revealed that an event organiser once invited him to attend a brief event, asking him to wear white, which he assumed was simply the dress code. However, when he arrived, he realized it was actually a funeral, and the crowd was surprised to see him there. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo The Funeral Incident and Payment Offer The actor shared a surprising experience from the event, recalling, 'I suddenly saw a dead body in front of me and thought the organiser had passed away.' He soon learned that he was actually there for a funeral. Feeling unable to react in such a solemn moment, the organiser joked, 'Agar aap royenge na, toh thoda zyada paisa milega'. Since Chunky isn't very emotional, he chose not to cry to avoid bursting into laughter. However, another actor at the funeral cried extensively and reportedly received an additional ₹50,000 for it. About 'Detective Sherdil' 'Detective Sherdil' blends mystery with dark comedy and has been praised for its engaging plot and Diljit's fresh portrayal of a detective character. The ensemble cast also includes Sumeet Vyas , Banita Sandhu, and Kashmira Irani.

One Night in Idaho: The College Murders OTT Release Date - When and where to watch chilling true docuseries

One Night in Idaho: The College Murders OTT Release Date - In the early hours of November 13, 2022, the quiet college town of Moscow, Idaho, was shattered by a crime so brutal it made national headlines within hours. Four University of Idaho students, namely Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, were found stabbed to death in their shared off-campus home. The murders didn't just leave their families and friends in anguish; they ignited an overwhelming wave of media frenzy, online speculation, and collective paranoia across the country. Now, nearly three years later, the case that shook the nation is the focus of a deeply personal and emotionally intense true docuseries titled One Night in Idaho: The College Murders, premiering July 11 on Prime Video. A human story amid chaos What makes this docuseries stand apart is its approach. Directed by Liz Garbus (I'll Be Gone in the Dark, Lost Girls) and Matthew Galkin (Murder in the Bayou), the series brings the audience into the lived experiences of those who were closest to the victims. The series features exclusive interviews with the families of the victims, including Stacey and Jim Chapin, parents of Ethan, and Karen and Scott Laramie, parents of Madison. The directors behind the lens Garbus and Galkin are not new to stories of pain, injustice, and silence. Garbus previously worked on Netflix's Lost Girls, a series that focused on the victims of the Long Island Serial Killer. Galkin's work on Murder in Big Horn put the spotlight on the overlooked cases of murdered and missing Indigenous women in Montana. Their experience working with victims' families shows through in One Night in Idaho; this is a sensitive, unfiltered look at what happens when grief meets the digital age. The pair began working on the project in early 2023, reaching out to families to document the aftermath. Their goal? To give a voice to the ones left behind. The series comes with serious production backing. It's produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, Story Syndicate, James Patterson Entertainment, and Fairhaven. Executive producers include a powerful lineup: Katie A. King, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Dan Cogan, Jon Bardin, Kate Barry, Mala Chapple, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
