Bobby Brazier's desperation over brother Freddy's latest move
As Freddy Brazier's reported feud with his dad Jeff is thought to be rumbling on, a source has revealed what his older brother, EastEnders star Bobby, thinks of the family divide.
The alleged feud between Freddy Brazier and his dad Jeff has left Freddy's older brother, EastEnders star Bobby, sad and praying for his family to be reunited, a source has told Mirror.
The brothers – the sons of late TV personality Jade Goody – previously enjoyed a tight-knit relationship with each other and their TV presenter father, but in recent weeks 20-year-old Freddy has reportedly been living with his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden. The aspiring model was allegedly seen 'smoking a joint' with Jackiey, 68, who has a history of drug abuse.
'Bobby wants the family to be reunited, he hates the divide. Bobby and Freddy both love their grandmother very much, she's Jade's mum and a connection they have to her – it's all the more poignant and sad given that it was their mum's birthday on 5 June,' claims the source.
The source continues, 'But Jeff is livid over the whole thing. He feels that he has brought the kids up single-handedly and Jackiey is a bad influence. Drugs are not something Jeff wants the boys around and he's not happy with the whole situation.'
Pictures of Jackiey and Freddy together surfaced just days before what would have been Jade's 44th birthday. Jade, who was a contestant on Big Brother in 2002, tragically passed away seven years later, aged 27, following a battle with cervical cancer.
She was in a relationship with Jeff for two years up until their 2004 split, with Jeff going on to raise their two children following her death.
However, Jeff has had a long-standing feud with Jade's mum. Previously he said that during his sons' childhoods, Jackiey would spoil them with 'unsuitable' gifts, claiming she once bought Freddy a hamster without checking with him, and supplied the boys with mobile phones during a visit. 'I just wish we could work together a little better,' he said in 2012.
However, the relationship later broke down completely and Jackiey didn't see her grandsons for a period of time, before regular visits began again. 'As she settled in herself, the boys kept a lot of contact with her and at the moment she's very helpful and very prominent in their lives,' said Jeff in 2014.
Things have once again turned sour between the pair, however, with Jackiey claiming in 2023 that she'd had to buy her own ticket for the National Television Awards where Bobby was being honoured with the Rising Star award. Asked about her thoughts on Jeff by reporters, Jackiey bluntly retorted, 'He's a c**t.' She added, 'He has been one for f**king nine years.'
Now, more than a decade after Jade's tragic death, the source claims a family feud is the last thing she would have wanted.
'Jade wouldn't have wanted a divide within the family, it's the last thing she saw for them. This time of year is already difficult enough without any extra drama. The boys always remember Jade together and it's not nice doing it with drama over their heads.'
In what appeared to be another snub to the family, Freddy is thought to have skipped his older brother's 22nd birthday last week. As the actor marked the milestone with loved ones including dad Jeff, 46, and stepmum Kate, his sibling was noticeably absent. However, Freddy did acknowledge Bobby's birthday on Instagram.
And last Friday, days after he was spotted smoking what appeared to be a joint with Jackiey, Freddy revealed he was checking into rehab. He wrote in his Instagram Stories that he was going to be 'cutting down' as he headed to a rehab centre in Marbella.
'I've been smoking from the age of 12 and it's time to stop,' he wrote. 'It was a bad coping mechanism that turned into an addiction – something I relied on and something that made me feel sane and somewhat OK.'
Continuing that he had found a rehab centre where he could heal, Freddy added, 'I want to be clean so I can live life happily and have healthy relationships with people and be there for all of my family rather than feeling like I'm in the middle and have to choose a side. I haven't been able to feel love properly as I have never loved myself and it starts now. I want to play football and take up boxing. I want to be happy and be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my Nana and my father.'

Explaining that Bobby and Freddy remain close, but are struggling with the family dynamic, the source claims, 'It's difficult for Bobby and for Freddy as brothers, especially considering Bobby's success in recent years with Strictly and EastEnders – Freddy feels like he's fallen into the background.
'It's a case of him rebelling against it all. But they are really close as siblings and Bobby wants more than anything for his brother to come home and for the family to be back together again. He hates seeing his dad so anxious.'
While Bobby has carved out a successful TV career, Freddy's profile is also on the rise. He describes himself as a 'model and TV personality' and appeared on Celebrity Race Across The World alongside Jeff.
On the show, Freddy and Jeff's close relationship was clear for viewers to see, but it appears that things with Jackiey could be jeopardising that.
Jeff has reportedly taken legal action in a bid to prevent Jackiey from seeing Freddy, citing concerns over his wellbeing.
However, it has been claimed that the move has backfired on Jeff, with a source claiming recently, 'Jeff was never going to keep Freddy away from his nanny for very long – they've always had a strong bond. Jeff may hate her for all sorts of reasons going back many years, but Freddy loves her very much.'
Meanwhile, our source maintains that Bobby is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to his dad, brother and grandmother.
'Both the boys love Jackiey and have a close relationship with her, but Freddy is closer to her. He loves going to her flat and having time together. Bobby is happy to stay home with his dad and respect his wishes, but Freddy doesn't feel the same way, so Bobby feels stuck in the middle. He wants them all to be a family.'

Meghan would've 'horrified' King with astonishing move as she 'clings' to title
Meghan Markle raised eyebrows with a video of her twerking trying to bring on labour - and royal expert Jennie Bond has revealed how those at the palace would have reacted to the clip Meghan Markle would have left King Charles 'horrified' with her "utterly bizarre" decision to share a video of her twerking to bring on labour, a royal expert has claimed. The Duchess of Sussex astonished royal watchers and fans by posting the video of her dancing in a hospital room alongside Prince Harry while waiting for the arrival of their daughter, Princess Lilibet. In the clip, a heavily pregnant Meghan twerks to the Starrkeisha song Baby Momma lifting her skirt above her knees, raising her hands in the air and wiggling low with her hands on her hips and legs. Meghan shared the clip on Lilibet's fourth birthday, saying: "Four years ago today, this also happened. "Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!" And for royal expert Jennie Bond, she believes it is an "astonishing video on any level" and reveals what the King would have thought of it. The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror: "The hours before you give birth are some of the most personal, intimate and private in the lives of any couple. "And women are perfectly entitled to do whatever they feel like to get through the waiting, and the pain. Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome. "However - to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, takes away all the magic of the moment. I cannot imagine why she chose to release it. Maybe show it one day to your nearest and dearest— but to anyone and everyone who wants to click on it? "I can hear the voice of the late Queen's former private secretary, Lord Charteris, repeating the comments he once made about Fergie: 'Vulgar, vulgar, vulgar'. "If the King has watched it, which I doubt, though he can't have missed the headlines I'm sure he would be horrified. Royalty has to carry with it some measure of dignity." Since sharing the clip many have questioned why she posted it, given the couple's supposed desire for privacy. And Jennie added: "I'm glad they were so happy before the birth, I'm glad Harry was there to support his wife in every way, I'm delighted to hear that he's such a great dad. But they really can't have it both ways. "They can't demand privacy and be so coy about sharing images of their children and then show us all these intensely intimate scenes. And she cannot expect to be treated as if she's royal whilst behaving like a click-hungry social media influencer. "Having said all that, there's no doubt that videos like this connect in a very real way to young people. And perhaps that's what Meghan is trying to do. My own daughter thought the video humanised both Meghan and Harry and was light-hearted and hugely relatable. It reminded her of her own pregnancies and labour and she thought it was rather charming. In many ways, I agree with her. I just don't think it sits happily with trying to cling to the vestiges of being 'royal'." Get Royal Family updates straight to your WhatsApp! ITV The 1% Club fans left 'crazy' by question that they say makes 'no sense'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info The 1% Club, an ITV gameshow hosted by Lee Mack, has left viewers scratching their heads over a particularly challenging question. Since its debut in 2022, the show has been a massive hit, bagging two National Television Awards. The game involves 100 contestants answering questions that have already been answered by the general public. Each participant starts with a £1,000 stake. Lee poses 15 questions of increasing difficulty, starting with one that 90% of the population answered correctly and ending with one that only 1% got right. Contestants have 30 seconds to lock in their answers and can progress to the next round if they answer correctly or pass after the 50% question, reports Bristol Live. Those who reach the final question could win up to £100,000 or share the prize pot, while those playing along at home can simply enjoy the challenge. However, one question shared on social media has left fans stumped. Posted on a Facebook page, it asked: What is the next letter in this sequence? SENTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. This question, from a May 2022 episode, was the final one of the quiz show, meaning only 1% of the general population answered it correctly. (Image: ITV) (Image: ITV) (Image: ITV) While some managed to solve it, others confessed their confusion. "Wouldn't get it in 30 days never mind 30 secs," one viewer commented. "It's easy when you know but tricky otherwise," another added. "How to feel dumb on a Thursday morning," someone else penned. A doubter remarked: "All the people answering acting like they worked it out, 100% goggled it or watched live. "That makes no sense," was the comment from another, while someone admitted feeling "lost" and sought clarification. "Can someone explain that this is more than just a few buzzwords? It's doing my head in," one person requested. However, amidst the confusion, an individual with the correct answer elucidated: "S-seventeen, E-eighteen, N-nineteen, T-twenty, Each other T represents the numbers between Twenty and Thirty Nine. Next letter is F for Forty." Another added their humorous take: "You're overworking that brain, if I was to be given my entire life to think of that I wouldn't figure it out,". A skeptic responded to a person who got it right by asserting: "They watched it on TV, maybe even Googled the answer, no one on the show got it, I was bamboozled and I have an IQ of 139."

Wynne Evans' family reaction to Strictly controversy before BBC show axe
The former face of offered insight into his girlfriend and daughter's thoughts on the infamous Strictly scandal. Wynne Evans, most recognisable from the old adverts, has revealed his family's reaction to the ongoing Strictly Come Dancing scandal that has ended in his BBC Wales radio show being cancelled. In a recent interview, he shared his girlfriend and daughter's thoughts to the public controversy, which included allegedly making an inappropriate comment during the Strictly live tour. Wynne maintains that what was alleged to be a "sexual" comment directed towards presenter Janette Manrara in which he used the term "spit roast", was in fact a joke aimed at co-star Jamie Borthwick - who has now been suspended from EastEnders for using a derogatory word to describe disabled people on the Strictly set in Blackpool. In the aftermath of the Wynne's alleged comment to Janette, the BBC 'decided not to renew' the contract for his radio show. In the course of detailing his side of the story, he also unveiled his family's insights on the matter, just days before this axe was announced. Initially, in conversation with The Sun, Wynne divulged his discussion with his daughter about the aftermath of the allegations. He explained: "I said, 'I'm sorry if I brought any embarrassment to you and shame', and she said, 'Dad, you would never bring embarrassment to me'. She's been so... just like straight down the line." Discussing the chat with his girlfriend, Liz Brookes, he recounted: "Yeah, Liz has been the same. "You know, Liz is one of these people who morals are very high, who always holds people to account, and she saw it unfolding, you know." He elaborated on her reaction after he explained his side: "And as soon as I said to her, you know, 'Look, this is what I said', and you can actually see what I said when you watch the video. "You've seen the video. You can actually see it. So, you know, 'Okay, yeah, I understand what you were doing'." It comes after claims that Wynne's friends have compiled a dossier, allegedly containing screenshots and videos, which they argue "prove his innocence" after the celebrity stated his reputation was unfairly left "in tatters". Wynne said that he wasn't referring to Janette at all, which he claims is also known to others. A confidant revealed: "Wynne's team has had the clip sent off to a cyber forensics team, which has come back with a word nobody had previously picked up on; they believe it changes everything." Reports suggest that Wynne was actually heard saying "old spit roast boy" while speaking to his mate and Strictly co-star, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, which his friends argue demonstrates he wasn't alluding to Janette, reported Manchester Evening News. Wynne clarified that his comment was in reference to Jamie executing a dance move that involved raising his legs above his head, likening him to a spit roast chicken. The star's dance partner, Katya Jones, has also supported him through the scandal, after the pair previously caused a stir during the series by playing a joke on audiences, which saw the professional dancer moving Wynne's hand away from her waist. The duo have since claimed the controversial moment was part of a "body language experiment" suggested by Katya. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
