Indiana Pacers game summary
The Indiana Pacers couldn't find their rhythm in Game 5, falling short with a 94-point effort. Their shooting woes were evident, going just 40.5% from the field and 33.3% from three. Aaron Nesmith had one of the roughest nights, scoring only 3 points on 1-of-8 shooting, while also posting a -20 plus-minus.
Pascal Siakam tried to spark the team, scoring 15 points with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His shooting, however, was cold at 38.5% from the floor. Tyrese Haliburton also struggled, hitting just 2-of-7 shots and failing to connect from beyond the arc, despite dishing out six assists while scoring just 8 points.
Bennedict Mathurin led all Pacers scorers with 23 points off the bench. He made 60% of his shots and nailed all nine free throws.

New York Knicks game summary
The New York Knicks delivered a strong all-around effort to stay alive in Game 5. Jalen Brunson continued his dominant playoff run, dropping 32 points on 66.7% shooting. He knocked down four threes and went 4-for-4 at the line, leading the offense with confidence.
Karl-Anthony Towns added a double-double, finishing with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Despite OG Anunoby's cold shooting night, the Knicks still out-rebounded their opponents 54-47 and dished out 22 assists. Josh Hart added 12 points and 10 boards, while Mikal Bridges and Mitchell Robinson chipped in with efficient shooting and tough defense.
