The learners participated in various events, including the 200m, 100m and 60m sprints; sack race; and relays.
Team Ruby emerged as the overall champions, taking home the top spot with their impressive performances. Team Topaz came second, followed closely by Team Emerald in third place, while Team Sapphire finished strong in fourth.

Kaizer Chiefs in negotiations to sign SuperSport United youngster!

Kaizer Chiefs are looking to undergo a squad rebuild ahead of the next season, after a disappointing previous campaign. Although they won the Nedbank Cup, Chiefs still failed to finish the season in the top eight positions. This made it their second time in a row, under a second coach that they failed to qualify for the MTN8. With that, Chiefs are expected to make some big and telling changes to their playing personnel. This in an effort to ensure that they don't find themselves in a similar situation again next season. It is no secret that they are looking to bolster their attack going into next season. But that is just one department, as they are also intent on adding strength and depth to their defence. One position that is reportedly earmarked for that is the left-back berth. As it stands, Chiefs have Bradley Cross, Happy Mashiane, Edmilson Dove and Bongani Sam playing there. Sam did not play a single minute for Chiefs since joining from arch rivals Orlando Pirates last season. He is rumoured to be on his way out. Mashiane has continued to be a bit part player and also could leave. There is also uncertainty over the future of Dove, with his deal up at the end of the month. So with possibly three left-backs on the way out, at least two new ones would be needed. According to journalist Siya Gijana, Chiefs have registered an interest in young SuperSport United left-back Aphiwe Baliti. '𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? SGSR has been informed that Kaizer Chiefs is currently in negotiations for the signature of SuperSport United Left back, 𝗔𝗽𝗵𝗶𝘄𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶.' Gijana wrote on his Facebook page . The 23-year-old Biliti only made his debut for the SuperSport first team last year, but seems to have impressed Chiefs. Amakhosi, would you like to see him at your club? Maxie, a hit-and-run survivor, needs a loving home

Merinda Brits from 4Paws, a non-profit organisation dedicated to saving animals, received a call from a man who lives in Diepsloot, a few weeks ago. The man assumed that his dog, Maxie, had been hit by a car. With a severely broken leg and unimaginable pain, this brave dog somehow managed to drag herself home. 'We rushed to the scene, loaded the injured dog into our vehicle and took her to our vet,' said Brits. 'Unfortunately, our vet informed us that her bones were shattered in more places than they could count and that her leg couldn't be saved.' 'She would sit by the door, whimpering softly, confused by the absence of her limb.' But day by day, step by shaky step, Maxie learned to walk again. Brits said her owner asked her if they could take his dog into their shelter, out of fear that this unfortunate incident might happen again. This was music to Brits' ears who gladly took the dog in and is now looking for a home for it.
