Later that night, Spears joined Combs, Paris Hilton and 50 Cent at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for another party hosted by the 'In da Club' rapper.

The photos of the 'Womanizer' hitmaker, now 43, partying with Combs, now 55, were unearthed after Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura name-dropped Spears during Combs' ongoing sex-trafficking trial. (The 'I'll Be Missing You' rapper has denied the charges against him.)

Judge threatens to kick Sean ‘Diddy' Combs out of courtroom in shocking trial moment
Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Manhattan trial took a dramatic turn Thursday when a federal judge shockingly threatened to throw him out of the courtroom for repeatedly nodding at jurors. The startling moment unfolded after the jury went out for their lunch break — with Judge Arun Subramanian scolding Combs for 'looking at jurors and nodding vigorously' at least twice during testimony. 'It cannot happen again,' Subramanian said. The judge warned Combs and his defence lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, that if the Bad Boys Records founder was caught doing it again, Subramanian would consider a last-resort measure of having him tossed from the courtroom. The disgraced music mogul apparently ogled jurors and made the head movements at them as his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura's friend Bryana 'Bana' Bongolan was being grilled by his defence attorneys about her allegations against him. Bongolan testified on Wednesday and Thursday that Combs once dangled her over the edge of a 17-story balcony before tossing her on patio furniture at Ventura's Los Angeles apartment in September 2016. The I'll Be Missing You rapper was also seen at other points in the bombshell trial nodding and attempting to make eye contact with the panellists. During earlier testimony, Combs tried to lock eyes with the panellists as they were being escorted out of the courtroom, though it didn't appear he was successful. And during jury selection, Combs nodded his head up and down in the direction of a pool of potential jurors. Combs, 55, is accused of carrying out a slew of crimes for over a decade, including forcing women to have sex with male prostitutes while they were drugged up and while he recorded and pleasured himself — in orchestrated sessions he coined 'freak-offs.' Two of the rapper's alleged victims — including his longtime on-and-off girlfriend Ventura — have already given days-long testimony about how Combs was physically violent toward them. A third alleged victim, who is using the pseudonym 'Jane,' is set to testify that she was forced into 'freak-offs' without wearing protection against her will, according to prosecutors. Jane — who started dating Combs in 2020 — is also expected to tell jurors about how he once viciously beat her, the prosecutors said. The hip hop tycoon is on trial for sex-trafficking, racketeering and prostitution related charges. He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to life in prison if convicted on the top count. The trial is expected to last eight weeks and is currently in the fourth week of testimony.

Britney Spears 'partied with Diddy' before infamous VMAs performance
Britney Spears was seen partying with Sean Combs just hours before her widely criticised performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, according to newly resurfaced photos and court testimony. The 43-year-old singer, best known for hits including Toxic and Gimme More, spent the night of September 7, 2007 at Jet nightclub in Las Vegas alongside Combs, 55, according to images recently shared online — with the pair later joined by Paris Hilton and 50 Cent at a second bash hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The events of that night have resurfaced and were reported by Page Six after 38-year-old singer Cassie Ventura mentioned Britney during Combs' ongoing federal sex-trafficking trial, where he is accused of federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Combs has denied all charges against him in his ongoing legal case. Ventura has testified her relationship with Combs 'sort of' began in Las Vegas during her 21st birthday celebrations in 2007. She told the court: 'Sean was there, and he brought Dallas Austin, Britney Spears. 'I think those were the two people that stand out to me.' Spears' appearance at the 2007 MTV VMAs on September 9, two days after the party, was intended to mark her professional comeback, but the performance became an infamous shambles and was met with huge criticism. She took the stage to perform Gimme More, but her lack of energy and poor lip-syncing drew widespread backlash from media and fans alike. In her 2023 memoir The Woman in Me, Spears wrote about the pressures she faced before going on stage. 'There was a problem with my costume and with my hair extensions,' she said, adding: 'I hadn't slept the night before. I was dizzy.' Spears also recalled seeing her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, whom she dated between 1999 and 2002, backstage just before the performance. 'It had been a while since I'd seen him,' she wrote, adding: 'I couldn't believe I was going to have to go out onstage feeling the way I felt.' At the time, Spears was undergoing intense public scrutiny following her divorce from Kevin Federline and a string of highly publicised personal struggles, including an incident in which she shaved her head.
