‘I'm not feeling well': Music legend postpones Las Vegas show due to illness
Rod Stewart postponed a show in Las Vegas hours before he was set to take the stage because of an unspecified illness. The 80-year-old singer postponed his performance at the Colosseum on Sunday, June 1 about 3 hours and 30 minutes before its scheduled start time, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. 'I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10.' Stewart wrote on his Instagram story. 'Your tickets will be valid for the new date.' The Colosseum also told concertgoers that the show was being postponed in an Instagram post Sunday night. 'We are sorry to inform that due to illness, Sir Rod Stewart's show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,' the post read. The venue reiterated that people's tickets will be valid on the new date. Stewart played three shows at the Colosseum before pulling out of the June 2 gig. He is set to return to Cesars Palace on Thursday, June 5. The legendary musician will bring his 'One Last Time' tour to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Aug. 15.
