Her former inter-county teammates will surely also wish her well once
Derry secured their senior status quite comfortably 12 months ago and that will be their target once again in 2025.
They will need to defend better than in the Division 2 league final, when they conceded four goals and could have shipped more.

They were missing half last year's team, however, and some of those will return against the Cats.
Starting at home is a boost against a Kilkenny side making gradual improvements under new manager Tommy Shefflin.
Limerick GAA fans troll RTE pundit Donal Og Cusack after win over Cork
The Stripeywomen were easy winners of the Leinster final last weekend against Wexford and will be hotly fancied to make the long trek back home with the three points tucked under their belts.
Another 2pm throw-in that catches the eye is the meeting of Clare versus Wexford.
There is no time for these teams to feel their way into the championship as in a group that includes Cork, Tipperary and Limerick, this looks like being a crucial fixture with regard to determining one of the three qualification berths to the knockout stages.
There has rarely been much between the teams and in the league, a couple of goals gave the Banner a one-point victory in Enniscorthy.
That got them to the Division 1B final which they lost to Antrim, after a very competitive hour.
Wexford actually scored more and conceded less than Clare through the group stages of the league.
They also reached the Leinster final last weekend, where Kilkenny were too strong, and must put that to bed quickly.
It is truly an impossible game to call.

Limerick v Cork TV information, throw-in time, date and more for Munster final
The 2025 Munster Hurling Championship final sees Limerick and Cork clash in what's set to be a barnstormer this weekend. Limerick come into this one off the back of a loss to Clare, who were already knocked out of any further action in the championship. They had already secured top spot with their previous performances however. Cork were the last side not named Limerick to win Munster, capturing the 2018 title before their opponents on Sunday lifted all of the next seven championships. They beat Waterford last time out in what was essentially a Munster semi-final for the Leesiders. Last time these sides met was an infamous drubbing, which seemed to reverse the momentum of both sides, with Cork reeling after a strong start to the group, while Limerick showed that the big names still had some big performances to give. Here's what you need to know about the big game: Saturday, June 7. The TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick. The game is due to begin at 6pm. Yes, the game is being shown on RTÉ 2. Cork selector doesn't mince words while challenging Rebels to rise to occasion in Munster final rematch vs Limerick
WAYNE Sherlock knows Cork must prevail in the hunger games when they face Limerick in the second instalment of a potential trilogy. The Treaty, who 2 Cork lost 3-26 to 1-16 last time out against Limerick 2 Wayne Sherlock is hoping they can end Limerick's reign of dominance It may not be the last they see of each other either, as both sides will then turn their attention to making it to Croke Park for All-Ireland final day. Since Cork's most recent Cork selector Sherlock said: 'We have no All-Irelands, they have five. They're going for seven Munsters, a lot of our fellas have none. 'Realistically, how can they be hungrier than us? It can't be possible. Read more on GAA 'We're going up to play them on their home patch. 'They're probably going to go down as one of the greatest teams ever to play the game. 'If you're not at it for this, you probably shouldn't go up there. But one thing we can guarantee the Cork fans is that we'll definitely be better than the last day.' Given that there had been no more than a puck of a ball between the teams in their five previous meetings, another close encounter was anticipated in last month's round-robin showdown. Most read in GAA Hurling But Sherlock admits that Cork's 'attitude could have been better' as they were trounced by a Limerick outfit who had an axe to grind with the team who condemned them to two Championship losses in 2024. The 1999 All-Star defender said: 'We just knew we can't be off the pace. Tipperary GAA star 'had to do live apology on RTE' the day after cursing during All-Ireland interview - "We're a 100 per cent team. If we take our foot off the throttle, we're an average team. 'But when we're going full tilt and we're at it, I think we'll beat anyone.' On the back of their first NHL triumph since 1998, Cork entered the Championship as odds-on favourites to end a 20-year All-Ireland drought. A bookie's decision Sherlock, a member of the victorious 2005 side, said: 'I think people want us to fail. How can you say Cork are going to win the All-Ireland after winning a league final? 'We're around long enough not to fall for it. But was that the reason we played like that against Limerick, that we were thinking we were just going to beat them? It wasn't, 100 per cent.' The Blackrock man also believes the lure of provincial medals is 'the same as it always was'. He added: 'I'd say our fellas who don't have them would do anything to get their hands on one.'
