Teen, adult charged in Walk of Heroes flag theft
TROUTMAN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two suspects allegedly stole one of the flags from the Walk of Heroes display on the Richardson Greenway Sunday.
The Troutman Police Department began investigating the incident and were able to identify the suspects, as well as obtain sufficient evidence to seek charges.
Officers have requested a juvenile petition for a juvenile suspect on misdemeanor larceny.
A warrant was also issued for Jessica Poole, 38, for the charges of aiding and abetting misdemeanor larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This warrant is pending service.
