One of the Spanish stadiums touted as a potential match venue is the home of La Liga side Celta Vigo - the Estadio de Balaidos.
And visiting fans will be greeted by a statue of flop Liverpool striker Iago Aspas.
The 37-year-old joined the Merseysiders in the summer of 2013 but left Anfield after two seasons on their books.
He found goals incredibly hard to come by, finding the back of the net ONCE in 15 appearances.
That, however, wasn't the case at his boyhood team Celta, whom he's scored a whopping 214 goals for during two stints.
Aspas is beloved by the Celta faithful, so much so that the club are commissioning a statue in his honour.
Club president Marian Mourino said: "When we were in Manchester, there was a statue of Bobby Charlton in front of the stadium.
"The same will happen here with Iago Aspas."

Aspas' 80th-minute winner against Getafe on the final day of the La Liga season last month secured Celta Europa League football for next season.
He'll forever be remembered by the Celta fans for his incredible haul of goals.

But Liverpool supporters will likely remember him for his awful corner against Chelsea in April 2014.
Aspas irked the Anfield faithful by playing a sidefooted pass straight to Willian in the 91st minute as the Reds trailed the visitors 1-0 in a crunch title clash.
When recalling the horror corner in 2017, he told the Daily Mail: "It was a great season for Liverpool… I just wish I could have played a bigger part.
'The corner is the last memory they have of me but football always gives you another chance.
'Let's hope the new lasting memory of me in England is knocking Manchester United out of Europe, for the sake of Celta Vigo, and for the happiness it would bring to Liverpool supporters too.'

'If he's good enough, then play him... don't loan him out'
Following the news that Brighton have agreed a deal to sign 18-year-old Charalampos Kostoulas from Olympiakos, we asked for your views on the move for the teenage are some of your comments:Paul: I'm concerned his decision making on the ball seems really poor. He seems to base a lot of his play around take-ons and dummies he won't be able to get away with in the Premier League. I do ultimately trust the club on this, New signing looks like one for the future - but if he is good enough, then play him. Don't spend that much money and send him out on loan. Ideally, we need an experienced striker, one who can get at least 15 goals a season. Same with young Watson. Don't keep signing youngsters for the future - play them now if they are good Kostoulas' arrival at Brighton will either hasten the exit of Evan Ferguson or motivate the young Irishman to drill down and regain the form he has already proved himself capable of. Kostoulas has yet to prove himself in the Premier League He's coming to the best finishing school in If recent strategy is anything to go by, he'll be off on loan somewhere, and it will be interesting to see how he develops.

Key Rangers backroom figure departs for Liverpool role
White had been First Team Physical Performance and Reconditioning Coach at the Ibrox club since April 2024. He joined Rangers in 2021 before taking up a role as First Team Assistant Performance Coach in August 2023, after being initially brought in as a Sports Scientist in the academy. Read more: White has now joined Premier League champions Liverpool as First Team Physical Performance Coach. And he might not be the only man with a Rangers background at Anfield next season. Indeed, former Ibrox boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst is reportedly close to being appointed to a role in Arme Slot's backroom team. The Dutchman spent just under a year in charge of Rangers, leading the club he turned out for as a player to the 2022 Europa League final. Liverpool are now 'close' to appointing Van Bronckhorst to their backroom staff, claims The Athletic. He will replace his fellow countryman John Heitinga, who recently left Anfield to take on the role of head coach at Eredivisie outfit Ajax. Van Bronckhorst spent a brief spell in charge of Besiktas after leaving Rangers before taking up a role on UEFA's Executive Committee.

And it's being reported that ex-Gers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will replace him. The Times say van Bronckhorst is poised to become Slot's new assistant coach. Van Bronckhorst guided the Ibrox side to the Europa League final and a Scottish Cup victory in 2022. But he was sacked a few months later after a string of poor results in the Champions League and in the Scottish Premiership. The Dutchman remained out of work for a year-and-a-half before stepping back into the dugout with Turkish giants Besiktas last year. But he lasted just 20 games in charge, winning only ten and drawing four, losing six. The former Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona star was replaced by Manchester United icon Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as at the Istanbul club. Van Bronckhorst remains a legend at Feyenoord, having played there in two spells and winning the Eredivisie as a manager. Slot and van Bronckhorst's stints in the dugout at Feyenoord led to similar successes. Moment Ally McCoist interrupts live radio to congratulate his 'wee pal' on signing for Rangers Van Bronckhorst won the league and two Dutch Cups over 176 games, with a win rate of 61 percent. Slot won the league once and the Dutch Cup once and amassed a win percentage of 65 percent, prior to his move to Liverpool. Van Bronckhorst, 50, was previously linked with a return to Feyenoord but they appointed Robin van Persie instead. He also turned down an approach from SC Heerenveen back in March. Liverpool are also on the verge of completing a blockbuster move for Florian Wirtz. The German superstar could be followed in the door at Anfield by PSG ace Bradley Barcola and Newcastle United talisman Alexander Isak in what would be a wild £300m summer spending spree. The Reds have already forked out £29.5m on Wirtz's Leverkusen team-mate, former Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong. Bournemouth's 21-year-old left-back Milos Kerkez is also being eyed as a potential replacement for Scotland hero Andy Robertson. 2 Giovanni van Bronckhorst won the Scottish Cup with Rangers Credit: Getty Images - Getty Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
