U.S. heritage brand Pendleton has announced the appointment of Jennifer Ingraffea to the role of chief executive officer, effective next month.
Helmed by the Bishop family for over one hundred years, Ingraffea replaces fifth generation family member John Bishop, the Portland, Oregon-based company's current CEO and president. She will be the third external CEO in the company's history, and the first-ever woman to serve in the role.
A sportswear veteran, Ingraffea joins the company from U.S. outerwear apparel brand, The North Face, where she served as chief product and merchandising officer.
Prior to the VF Corp.-owned brand, Ingraffea logged 19 years at sportswear giant Nike across various leadership roles, including her last role as global VP of kids footwear.
'We set a high bar for this search and are excited to have exceeded it,' said John Bishop. 'From our earliest conversations, it was clear Jenn's magnetic presence, her leadership style grounded in mentorship, and her ability to unite teams around a shared vision made her a natural fit for Pendleton. Jenn brings a decades-long career rooted in global product merchandising, and we look forward to her leading us in delivering compelling, market-relevant products to our customers.'
Founded in 1863, Pendleton has evolved from a textile manufacturer into an American icon known for its woolen blankets and throws, as well as knits and shirts.
'When I moved to the Pacific Northwest over two decades ago, Pendleton was one of the first brands that caught my attention. The history, legacy, and unparalleled craftsmanship drew me in immediately,' Ingraffea said. 'Now, I have the incredible opportunity to help shape its next chapter – to guide the brand toward the full promise of its potential.'

Fashion brand Rizvol launches in India with e-commerce website

Rizvol, a New York-based fashion brand by entrepreneur Abhishek Shah has launched in the Indian market with its e-commerce website. The brand claims that its garments are made through a creative process with buttons made from Japanese Mother of Pearl, fabrics sourced from renowned European mills, and silhouettes refined through over 200 prototypes. With this launch, the brand aims to make inroads in the country's booming fashion market and plans to further expand through partnerships with online platforms. Commenting on the launch, Abhishek Shah in a statement said, 'We believe there's a growing appetite in India for something quieter, more intentional. We want to be the brand people turn to when they no longer need to announce themselves, because Rizvol is about presence, not performance.' 'Rizvol's entrance into India comes at a time when the market is evolving, from appetite-driven consumption to experience-led ownership. Our website reflects this shift. It's more than a shopping portal; it's a tactile, narrative-driven digital space where fabrics are described in warp and weft,' he added.
