The WNBA regular season features the New York Liberty against the Washington Mystics in a Commissioner's Cup matchup.
The Liberty are currently on a seven-game winning streak after achieving an impressive 100-52 victory over the Connecticut Sun, marking the second-largest victory margin in WNBA history. Sabrina Ionescu continues to excel for the Liberty, contributing 18 points and five assists in the win. Breanna Stewart, Leonie Fiebich, and Jonquel Jones collectively added 39 points against the Sun.
The Mystics, on the other hand, are currently grappling with a two-game losing streak. Their latest defeat, a hard-fought 85-76 battle against the Indiana Fever, saw both Kiki Iriafen and Brittney Sykes recording 20 points each. Despite their efforts, it wasn't enough to claim the victory.
