Kids ‘coordinated a plan' to kill mom after she turned off the Wi-Fi
HOUSTON, Texas (WJW) — Three teenage siblings were arrested this week after they allegedly tried to kill their mother because she turned off the Wi-Fi.
Man indicted in connection to 'grandparent fraud scam
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies and detectives were called to a Houston home during the overnight hours of March 23. They found a woman who'd been assaulted by her three kids, ages 14, 15 and 16.
'The three siblings allegedly coordinated a plan to try and kill the mother,' spokesman Ed Gonzalez wrote in a Facebook post.
The three kids allegedly armed themselves with kitchen knives and chased their mother through the house and into the street while attempting to stab her, the post said.
The mother was also hit with a brick during the assault. Additionally, a grandmother was knocked over trying to protect the mother.

No serious injuries were reported, Gonzalez said.
The three teenagers were booked in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. They're facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Musician Jay Gindi tells FOX31 the high turnout of festival visitors sends the right message. 'The biggest thing is not letting the terror win,' he said. Others attending the event say that national and international attention now focused on Boulder provides an opportunity to bring people together. 'This should not be a political discussion; we have a community member that was burned by a terrorist. This is a terrible, terrible thing and as a whole, we should always get together, support, come together and show love,' said Jared Jacharowicz.
