Inside Golfer Adam Scott and Wife Marie Kojzar's Secret Wedding
Inside Golfer Adam Scott and Wife Marie Kojzar's Secret Wedding originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Adam Scott's wife Marie Kojzar is not one for the spotlight, even as the veteran golfer is rising up the U.S. Open leaderboard. Even the couple's wedding in 2014 was a bit of a secret.
Scott and Kojzar are the proud parents of three children: Bo Vera, Byron and Björn. As for where Scott and his family live, the star golfer has homes in both Switzerland and Bahamas, per TGL Golf.
Scott's family preferring their privacy is nothing new. The Herald Sun reported in 2014 that Kojzar and Scott got married during a secret wedding ceremony on April 17, 2014, in the Bahamas.
"It was lost amongst the revelation he had married longtime girlfriend Marie Kojzar in a surprise and secret small Bahamas ceremony on April 17th, the Thursday after this year's Masters (in 2014)," the Herald Sun detailed in a May 10, 2014, story.
Kojzar is a Swedish architect and does not have a public social media presence like Scott. PGA of America revealed that Kojzar does not often travel to tournaments, preferring to cheer on Scott from afar.
It is not just golf fans who were surprised to learn Scott had a wife. Scott and Kojzar did not even reveal the wedding details to the few attendees who were at the small ceremony prior to the event.
"We just said we were having a party, so come on over," Scott said of the surprise wedding ceremony back in 2014, per PGA of America. "So then they had no idea that it was going to happen. So that was the fun little game for me and Marie to play for a while, planning it and stuff."
Scott has no choice but to be in the spotlight during the final round of the U.S. Open given his stellar play at Oakmont. Even Rory McIlroy was in on the secret engagement and was surprised Scott was able to keep the plans private.
"We knew," McIlroy said at the time. "I don't know how he kept it a secret for so long from you guys (media).
"I had breakfast with him this morning. It was nice to be able congratulate him. He was telling me he had to tell lie after lie just to keep it quiet."This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 15, 2025, where it first appeared.

Amazon Prime Video Cancels Critically Acclaimed Series After One Season
Subscribers are upset with a decision from Amazon Prime Video to cancel a critically acclaimed series after one season. The hit series, which combined both comedy and drama, has been axed without any plans for a second season even though the initial order called for one. This surprising turn of events was shared in a new report. While a second season for the series was part of the initial order made in 2023, those orders aren't always guaranteed, and it appears that the evaluation process convinced the platform not to move forward with this series. The critically-acclaimed series was quite costly due to its filming locations in New York and Paris as well as the hiring of numerous top ballet dancers. Unfortunately, the acclaim wasn't enough, as the series didn't reach high enough numbers on Amazon Prime's streaming categories. In fact, viewership quickly declined, making it a seemingly easy decision for Amazon to cancel the series without a renewal. As shared by Deadline: 'Prime Video is not proceeding with a second season of Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino's ballet dramedy series, Deadline has learned. The streamer and Amazon MGM Studios will continue to support the series' Emmy campaign in the comedy categories.' The series, titled Étoile , is said to have been axed as a result of 'performance vs. cost.' The series, which was co-created by Sherman-Palladino as a result of her ballet background, includes eight episodes revolving around the dancers and artistic staff at two world-renowned ballet companies in New York and Paris. As a result, the first season now ends on a cliffhanger, leaving a serious reminder for television viewers that it's extremely disappointing when their favorite shows don't receive the conclusions they deserve. While there is no second season of Étoile , Amazon Prime subscribers can still view what episodes were produced for the series if they so desire. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Amazon Prime and television updates as we have them.
