Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen's separation is not a secret. The two, who married in 2019, parted ways in 2023 and since then, have been co-parenting their daughter Zaina – who lives with Charu. However, in one of her recent YouTube vlogs, the actress clarified that she had never stopped Rajeev from meeting Zaina, even after their divorce.
The former Mere Angne Mein actress reacted to a few comments that claimed that Zaina was missing a father figure. Charu clarified that it was not the case and revealed that Rajeev often visits or calls them.
'I have been reading comments when Ziana hugged her Mausaji, there were people commenting that she was missing the father figure. But I think you all didn't see the previous vlog, she hugged her masi the same way. Whenever she loves someone and meets them after long, she hugs them all with the same warmth. She isn't missing any father figure. And if there is anything like that, she can talk and call," she said.
'Rajeev also calls her, video calls also happen. Aap log itna hyper mat kijiye. Agar kisine jhoote interviews de diye toh iska matlab nahi hai ki sach badal jayega. Even after our divorce, I have been there at many occasions, we even went on vacations together. We have been there, jab bhi unka Mann karta tha woh aa jate hai. Unke convenience pe. He would stay with us for the whole day. There hasn't been anytime that there have been any boundaries or limitations. He can come and meet whenever he wants," the actress added.
Meanwhile, Charu Asopa has moved to Bikaner. Earlier, Charu opened up about her decision to leave Mumbai and told ETimes, 'Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to Rs 1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn't a rushed decision."

'Stubborn' Cheteshwar Pujara ignored Rohit Sharma's advice, regretted it moments later: 'I told him not to...'

India's batting duo of Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma go back a long way. They first appeared for India together during the 2006 Under-19 World Cup, highlights of which are still available on YouTube, before going on to carve out a glorious career with the Indian cricket team. Rohit and Pujara could have batted a lot more together in Tests, but the Indian ODI captain's sporadic runs in Test cricket did not allow it to happen. Pujara, a Test specialist for India, instead, put on some legendary partnerships with Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli. But that doesn't take away anything from some of the most memorable and not-so-memorable moments he and Rohit have shared both on and off the field. Who can forget Rohit's iconic unfiltered call "Bhaag Pujji" followed by an expletive during the 2019 Test series between India and South Africa at home? Even though they may not have played together since 2021, Rohit and Pujara continue to share a strong bond. Last year, when moments after Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket, Rohit's slip of tongue regarding Pujara became one of his peak press conference moments. "Pujara is hiding somewhere in Rajkot, so we don't meet so often. Let me clarify, Pujara has not retired. You'll get me killed," he said. Recently, during the book launch of 'The Diary of a Cricketer's Wife' penned by Pujara's wife, Pooja, which Rohit attended, the India ODI captain reminded his former teammate about an incident that probably got left out. As part of the same Playing XI on numerous occasions, Rohit recalled their tour of the West Indies, where, despite his warning, Pujara did not pay attention and shortly regretted his decision. "I'm sure it's not written in the book. Is there anything regarding that West Indies tour of India A 2012. What happened," Rohit needed Pujara. That's when Puji opened up on the incident. "I haven't told. I mean, she is aware but she doesn't know the details. I am a vegetarian. So we were looking for a vegetarian meal at night. It was in TNT (Trinidad and Tobago) where we went out at 11 in the evening. We didn't find the meal but when we were walking back, I was mugged. I can't tell you in detail about it but that's the story he is referring to." Rohit added his two cents on the matter as well. "Moral of the story is that he can be stubborn," he said. "We told him. We warned him not to go out in the night. Don't step out after 9 PM. This is the West Indies." It should be noted that Pujara had already made his debut for India by then. His first Test for India dates to October of 2010 against Australia in Bengaluru. Between then and January of 2011, Pujara played three Tests for India before getting dropped from the team. He finally made his return in August of 2012, scoring his maiden century – 159 against New Zealand in Hyderabad.

Fardeen Khan opens up about giving up alcohol, sought professional help to get sober: ‘I started drinking at a young age, it was interfering with my life'

After taking a long break from films, Fardeen Khan decided to resume his acting career during the second lockdown at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. In a recent interaction, the actor recalled that although he was eager to return to films, he didn't know where to begin, having been away from the industry for such a long time. Adding to the challenge was the fact that he had put on some weight and was at 102 kgs during his hiatus. Speaking about the same to Cyrus Broacha on his YouTube channel, he said, 'I knew I had to get in a certain shape. I was 102 or 103 kgs at my heaviest and not muscle — just good old body fat.' Fardeen admitted that he worked on himself in trying to get healthy. 'Last week I was 78 kgs. I lost 25 kgs,' he shared. He then spoke about his sobriety and shared that he gave up drinking in 2020 and sought professional help to do so as his drinking was starting to interfere with his life. 'I was at a stage where I just didn't feel myself. I became sober in 2020 and I stopped alcohol in one go. I needed to stop, it was interfering with my life. I took professional help to stop and it was the best decision I have made in my life. I started drinking very, very young so this was the first time the brain fog lifted,' he shared. In an earlier interaction, Fardeen had shared that he took a 14-year-long break from acting to focus on family. He moved to London to be with his wife, Natasha Madhvani, as the couple was facing some challenges in having children. After becoming a father to a daughter and a son, the actor decided to extend his break to spend more time with his kids. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, 'We were having challenges having children, and that's when we decided to take the IVF route. That's why I needed to take some time off. It wasn't meant to be this long. I thought only for a few years… get everything settled, but things didn't happen that way. Then, when my daughter was born, my heart melted, and I thought, let's spend some time with her.' Apart from Heeramandi, Fardeen has also starred in films like Khel Khel Mein, Visfot, and the recently released Housefull 5. He also has the Kannada film The Devil in the pipeline.

New Delhi: After opening to a lukewarm response, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's Thug Life witnessed a further drop in collections on its second day. The film has been hit hard by the controversy surrounding Kamal's recent comments on the Kannada language, which led to the film's release being stalled in Karnataka. The effects of the controversy continued into Day 2, pulling the film's earnings down further. What According to Sacnilk, Thug Life collected Rs 15.5 crore on its opening day. This is lower than the opening figures of Kamal's previous films like Vikram and Indian 2, as well as Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. On Friday, the film earned Rs 7.5 crore, a 55% drop, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 23 crore over two days. The film also faced competition from the release of Housefull 5 on Friday. The Akshay Kumar-led comedy earned Rs 23 crore on its opening day, the same amount Thug Life collected over two days. Background While Thug Life was projected as a pan-India film, it struggled in the Hindi belt, earning only Rs 65 lakh on Day 1 and dropping to Rs 25-35 lakh on Day 2. On Friday, its Hindi occupancy was just 6.48%. Even in the Tamil market - the film's primary base - Thug Life did not fare well. It recorded a 31.41% occupancy rate on Friday. In comparison, Kamal's Vikram had collected Rs 60 crore in two days, and Indian 2 had made Rs 44 crore despite mixed reviews. When compared to Mani Ratnam's past films, Thug Life lags far behind.
