Iranian Foreign Minister says no ceasefire agreement with Israel yet
Tehran/Jerusalem, June 24 (UNI) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there was no ceasefire or military operation agreement yet, but if Israel stopped its "aggression" no later than 4 a.m. (00:30 Moscow time), Tehran would no longer launch strikes.
Araghchi posted the statement on his X account at 00:46 GMT.
"As of now, there is NO "agreement" on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards," the Iranian foreign minister said.
Araghchi added that a final decision on cessation of Iran's military operations would be made later.
US President Donald Trump said on June 24 that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire that would, after 24 hours, be an official end to the 12-day war.

Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday confirmed that Israel has accepted a ceasefire proposal with Iran, marking the end of 12 days of intense hostilities between the two regional rivals. In an official statement released by the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu declared that Israel had met all strategic goals of its military campaign, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, and even exceeded expectations.
