Mickey Rourke's Celeb Big Brother ‘game plan' revealed by co-star after actor refused to even unpack his bags in house
CHESNEY HAWKES reckons that Hollywood hellraiser Mickey Rourke never planned to go the distance on Celebrity Big Brother.
And it's maybe just as well, given his loud snoring might have driven housemates mad.
Actor Mickey's sudden exit stunned fans last month when he agreed to leave the house after only a few days.
But finalist Chesney said on a Zoom call from his home: ' Mickey seemed to think that he was only there for a day.
'When it got to five days, he said, 'I'm leaving today', and that was it. None of us knew he'd gone until Big Brother told us to go to the sofas.
'A lost soul'
'He never even unpacked. Big Brother asked him to do it a hundred times. He just left his clothes and shoes all over the floor.
'And when he got dressed, he'd throw it all on to my bed and walk off.
'I'd have to shove it off on to the floor, but he didn't care.'
Ches added: 'He snored like a horse. He slept at the end of my bed and it would be shaking because he was snoring so loudly.'
Although Mickey acted outrageously at times, with Ches admitting the actor had said 'something inappropriate to every person in the house', the singer insisted he did have a softer side.
The One And Only hitmaker added: 'He is a lost soul, for sure. We had some very deep conversations, he was very open.
'I know they didn't really show much of it. He's had a very, very tough life, a very hard upbringing, and you kind of realise why he's become what he is.'
Mickey Rourke's Celebrity Big Brother pay cheque revealed after bosses SLASH fee
With broken sleep, no proper mental stimulation or concept of time in the CBB house, Ches said the experience was tough — but also great fun.
And while he might not be staying best pals with Mickey, he's made a firm friend in Jojo Siwa.
Ches said: 'My daughter is going to LA next month and JoJo is taking her to Pride, so they're already like the best of friends.
'I've spoken to everyone on WhatsApp, but there's no group chat yet. It's all individual texts.'
Showing me his phone, which still has 999 unread messages, Ches revealed he is taking some time to get back to normal life.
He is preparing for a return to the stage ahead of a summer of huge gigs supporting his latest album, Living Arrows.
But before I let him go, I had to know what really happened in that sex club — after Chesney hinted about a wild night out with his wife Krissy when they lived in the States.
Ches said with a grin: 'It's not a regular occurrence on a Tuesday night in Hawkes Towers. We were in West Hollywood with friends, Nick and Paul, in a bar which had a more racy area upstairs.
'There was this woman who was strapped in with these Shibari (bondage) ropes and this muscly guy in pants, and he had a whip. Krissy was intrigued, so we all ended up having a go at whipping. It was just an average night whipping amongst friends.'
There's absolutely nothing average about that, Ches.
But there are worse ways to spend a Tuesday.

Ed's new release
ED SHEERAN will drop his latest single Old Phone at 4pm today – and has gone through his mobile from a decade ago to celebrate.
The tune is about how he had to revisit a handset for evidence before his 2023 legal case, where he was cleared of plagiarising Marvin Gaye on Thinking Out Loud.
11
He found loads of old showbiz snaps, which he has shared on Instagram account @teddysoldphone.
Among them is a selfie with Taylor Swift, a pic of Harry Styles wearing a grill on his teeth, and a snap with now-wife Cherry Seaborn in school uniform for Halloween.
Country living for Sydney & Paris
SYDNEY SWEENEY is living her best life after breaking up with film producer Jonathan Davino.
The Euphoria actress partied with Paris Hilton at Stagecoach festival in California and shared this snap of them together in the VIP area backstage.
11
Both of them got into the country music spirit, with Syd wearing a pair of nude-coloured cowboy boots, while Paris went all out in a glittery bodysuit complete with matching chaps.
Why go half-arsed when you can go the whole hog, eh, Paris?
Stormzy having a bubble with pals
SIX months after I revealed he was growing close with US singer Victoria Monet, it seems Stormzy is hitting the town as a single man.
My exclusive photo shows the Firebabe rapper on a night out with his mates at posh Mayfair restaurant Mr Porter.
An onlooker told me: 'Stormzy and his friends arrived in a car and went into the back entrance of Mr Porter.
'There were a few people hanging around outside the front and they wanted a more lowkey entrance.
'When they came out at about 12.25am, Stormzy was still holding his champagne glass and looked like he wanted to carry on the party.
'It was late but he and his pals all clamboured back into the car and headed off to carry on the night.'
Away from partying, Stormzy has revealed he's working on a new production at the National Theatre.
He has been 'drawn to theatre' throughout his life and said his plans will be announced soon.
Stormzy got on board after the theatre's new artistic director, Indhu
Rubasingham, said she spent 'six to eight months doggedly pursuing
Stormzy and his team'.
She said the production would be 'a piece with his music'.
I'm a huge fan, so I'll be first in line for a ticket.
Anna's mission
ANNA LAPWOOD is on a mission to get women in classical music heard.
As the first woman to receive an organ scholarship from Oxford's Magdalen College in 560 years, she wants to help women hone their craft on the instrument.
At an exclusive preview of her new album Firedove, which is out on May 30, she told event host Sandi Toksvig: 'I've been striving to build a place where ideas wouldn't just be shot down immediately by everyone in the room.
'When I was doing an organ competition at 19, a man sat me down and said, 'You need to play more like a man'. I was like, 'What? Please tell me what you mean?'. He said, 'You need to play with more power and authority'. And I was like, wow. The thing that really bugs me is this was nearly ten years ago.
'And the number of people who say to me, 'I'm sorry you had that experience, but of course it doesn't happen any more . . .' Then a young organist came up to me and said, 'I was told in my organ lesson last week by my teacher to play more like a man'.'
While there are still hurdles to climb, Anna, who once taught Tom Cruise how to play the organ during a secret lesson at the Royal Albert Hall, says her passion is spreading.
Anna, pictured with Sandi, added: 'It is trying to make anyone feel like the organ is an instrument they can play, whether they're male or female.'
Paul unfolds wings for memories of 70s
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has unveiled the cover of his upcoming book Wings: The Story Of A Band On The Run.
The Beatles legend is opening his diaries and photo album from the Seventies to tell all about the group, which gave us hits such as Silly Love Songs and Live And Let Die. In the foreword, Paul writes: 'Suddenly Wings has found its moment.
'We have a generational shift at work, and it's like being transported back on a magic carpet. Working on the book has awakened so many beautiful memories of our times back then.'
On the cover picture taken by his late wife LINDA, Paul poses with her plus other bandmates Denny Laine, Henry McCullough and Denny Seiwell.
The photo was taken in Spain in 1972, a year after the band formed.
In the book, which is out on November 4, there is material from 42 hours of new interviews and never-before-published chats with Paul and the band.
It also includes diary entries from him at the time, along with handwritten song lyrics.
Barb's new album
BARBRA STREISAND has recruited fellow superstars for new album The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two, which will be released on June 27.
Barbra sings with Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey on One Heart, One Voice, collaborates with Paul McCartney on My Valentine, and Bob Dylan on The Very Thought Of You.
Sam Smith, Sting, Seal, Tim McGraw and Josh Groban also appear.
The first single, which is out now, is a cover of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, with Hozier.

Shamed Huw Edwards' divorce delayed as he's forced to slash £750k from asking price for his family home
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHAMED BBC anchorman Huw Edwards' divorce has been delayed as the asking price for his family home was slashed by £750,000. His TV producer wife Vicky Flind filed for divorce days after he admitted possessing indecent images of children. Their six-bedroom detached mansion in Dulwich, south London was then put up for sale for £4.75 million last October following the couple's split. 3 Edwards' wife Vicky Flind filed for divorce days after his child sex image confession Credit: nobledraperpictures 3 Shamed BBC presenter Huw Edwards' divorce has stalled after £750k was knocked off the asking price of his family home Credit: Alamy 3 The couple's six-bed Dulwich mansion was listed for £4.75m last October after their split Credit: Pedder/TNG But no buyers have come forward to take on the plush property amid fears it has been blighted by its links to the telly paedo. The property has attracted so little interest that online site Zoopla is still urging 'be one of the first to view' - nine months after it went on sale. Agents reduced its asking price by £250,000 in February - but a further £500,000 has now been hacked off as the couple attempt to accelerate their split. The couple bought the six-bedroom home for £1.85 million in 2006 and it is mortgage-free - and 63-year-old Edwards expected to rake in more than £2 million from his share of the sale. But the plummeting price means the presenter - who earned £475,000 at the peak of his career - has already lost more than £300,000 he hoped to rake in last year. He did not pay back £200,000 in wages funded by licence payers which he earned between his arrest over child sex charges and his resignation. Court records obtained by The Sun confirm that no decree absolute had been granted to end his 32-year marriage up to June 5. It was unclear whether property sale problems were affecting the divorce - which had been expected to have been finalised by February this year Edwards, 62, pleaded guilty in September to three charges of making indecent images of children and was given a six-month suspended jail term. EXC Shamed Huw Edwards seen for first time since paedo conviction as we reveal he hasn't returned any of his £200k BBC wage The material included abuse videos of children as young as seven, which he received via WhatsApp between December 2020 and August 2021. Ms Flind initially stood by her husband but asked him to leave the family home after his arrest. He has since been living between a flat in Wandsworth, south-west London, and a property in Carmarthen, Wales. His Dulwich home is described by the estate agent as 'a substantial detached mid-century family house' with 'exceptionally spacious living accommodation'. It features three bathrooms, three reception rooms, a library, an office, a double-length garage, and mature gardens with decking. The agency said it sits 'on one of Dulwich's most desirable residential roads'. The couple, who married in 1993, have three sons and two daughters.

Stella McCartney gets tested for killer disease with sister on same day
Sir Paul McCartney's daughter Stella has spoken out about the pain of losing her mum Linda, nearly three decades after her tragic death. Fashion designer Stella McCartney has opened up about the heartbreak of losing her mum Linda to breast cancer and is urging women across the UK to make use of free NHS screenings. The 53-year-old daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul, was just 25 when her mum died in 1998, aged 53 - three years after she was diagnosed with the disease. Now, in a rare and emotional interview, Stella has shared how she and her sister Mary, 55, go for mammograms together every year - and she is calling on other women to do the same, the Mirror. Her warning comes just a week after British pop star Jessie J, 37, revealed her own breast cancer diagnosis, sparking shock among fans. The Bang Bang singer - real name Jessica Cornish - has been sharing honest updates with her 13.9 million Instagram followers so they can keep up to date with her progress. Urging women to get tested, Stella said: "I love the idea of going with my sister and my best friends on International Women's Day every year. "I think it is a nice way to celebrate that process. Go and get your mammograms. My sister is my best friend. It is like no other." Stella previously described losing Linda - animal rights campaigner and photographer - as 'the most difficult thing I've ever had to encounter', and admits the feeling of loss is with her every day. Despite her mother passing away 27 years ago, the mum-of-four – who shares sons Miller, 20, Beckett, 17, and daughters Bailey, 18, and Reiley, 15, with husband Alasdhair Willis, says she still feels her mum guiding her every day. She said: "My mum didn't see my kids. I was just 28. It is the greatest loss, especially when you become a mother. I was so young and passing down motherhood, what a beautiful gift. It is just not you not having her and you losing her it is them not knowing her too. Like "She didn't know you". Stella recently praised Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles for speaking out about her own breast cancer scare. She said: "I think it was courageous for you (Tina Knowles) to share your story and I wish more people would share it. I wish more people would have shared that what when my mother was alive, hoping that she would still be alive. So I commend you for talking about it. Everyone should get mammograms. It is all about prevention. It is so important. "I have spent a lot of time at a breast centre in Kettering and I highlight this disparity in breast cancer mortality. I ask so many questions and some don't know they can get free screenings." Today, Stella says the spirit of her late mum Linda still plays a huge part in how she runs her life, both at home with her husband Alasdhair Willies, and in the way she runs her business. The designer - who takes after her mother in her love of animals and refusal to eat meat and uses no leather or fur in creations for her eponymous label - says her ethos is partly inspired by her mother's beliefs. Stella said: "What an influence my mum was. Obviously in my life she guides me how I conduct myself in my business and in my home." But despite the trappings of the McCartney name, Stella admits she is just like any other mother at home, especially when it comes to her daughters who often steal treasured items from her catwalk collections. She said: "I have an 18-year-old daughter but she is now an age when she is stealing all my major clothes. She is like "Can I go into the archive?" and she whips out the most iconic pieces. She is like "Oh that is the 1997 runway." And I never see it again." "But my kids do get mad at me. There is that Saturday Night Live sketch where they say "I am your mother". "My kids always play that to me. But I said to my daughter once "The only mission I have as a mother is to pass on the thing I have learned." My boys are different." And as Father's Day approaches this Sunday, Stella says her children are just like everyone else's adding: "I have to tell my kids like it is Father's Day coming up. I say to them that we don't need anything, We don't need anything so I say to them 'But write him a letter. Make him proud of you.'

Ed Sheeran reveals secret boozy night out with major sports star as he lifts lid on his huge celeb pals
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AS one of the nicest blokes in the music business, it's no wonder Ed Sheeran's little black book is crammed full of huge celebrities. And in a new chat on The Louis Theroux podcast, he talks about famous friends including Van Morrison, who once woke him up at 6am after a boozy night out with Rory McIlroy, demanding to see him. 'Rory had come down and she loved being around him. We stayed up super late talking to him, and I'd say we went to bed at like 4am. 'About 6am, I got a call on my hotel phone from the hotel — 'Mr Morrison's in the lobby, he wants to have breakfast with you'. 'I was half asleep and half drunk. So I just hung up and I was like, 'I have no idea who Mr Morrison is.' 'Then I got another call and they said, 'Sorry, Van Morrison is in'. 'I ran downstairs and there he was waiting for me and we had breakfast, which is really surreal. 'I'm a huge fan. We spoke for ages about everything we did. One of the subjects was actually Spotify. 'I had embraced Spotify quite early in my career and I think he was asking me to explain Spotify to him.' Ed also talked about hanging out with Eminem after he worked on the rapper's 2018 song River. 'He loves comic books, Marvel movies and video games,' Ed explained. Ed Sheeran left red-faced after cops in India demand he shut down street performance 'I sent him a Nintendo 64 with Goldeneye on it because he'd never played it.' About his new album Play, which is out on September 12, Ed said it feels like a double-edged sword. He explained: 'The two joys of my life professionally are writing songs and performing. I f***ing hate releasing music. 'You love the songs so much and then suddenly you're putting them out there and that might change your relationship with them if other people don't like them. 'I'm trying my hardest not to let that happen. 'I find releasing it just kind of sucks the joy out of it.' He didn't fit in the back.' ...ON EMINEM 16 Ed in the studio with American rapper Eminem 'HE seems like he'd be quite shy but I don't think he is when you get to know him. PITBULL LEADS BALD E PARTY 16 Pitbull is back at London's O2 Arena Credit: Alamy 16 Pitbull fans love wearing bald caps Credit: Splash 16 The Sun's Jack in his outfit alongside a beaming Pitbull Credit: Supplied PITBULL is back at London's O2 Arena for another two sold out nights after a successful show earlier this year. Delivering possibly the most fun gig i've ever been to, his Party After Dark Tour is a nostalgic trip down memory lane with feel good banger after banger after banger. Everyone there simply wants to have a good time - with the tube to the venue packed with fans in costumes all singing at the top of their lungs. Chancing my luck, I opted to dress as Mr Worldwide himself... and safe to say it went down a treat backstage. After a flurry of possibly the hottest female dancers I've ever seen, Pitbull appeared out of his dressing room - catching my outfit and grinning from ear to ear. "Man I love it" he laughed before giving me a big hug. I quickly launched into a short tale of how I'd ran to Soho that afternoon to buy my baldcap - bumping into three other music lovers doing exactly the same thing. Smiling Pitbull said: "Well next time you see them you make sure you tell them from me thank you. I love all my Bald E's. "We are going to have a great show tonight. I can feel it. "For the first time tonight my band are going to dress as Bald E's too." He added on stage: "I tell you why I call you guys [fans] the bald E's. Because we fly high, and we soar high like bald eagles. So therefore we are the bald E's "And everywhere we go, and anytime you're there, you put on that bald cap and you already know you are going to have the time of your life. In fact new date from QR Code Generator have revealed searches for 'bald cap' have it an all time high in the UK amid Pitbull's tour. It's hard to quite put into words the energy in the O2 - 90% of the sold out 20,000 venue has come dressed as the star. Sure concerts like Taylor Swift have an amazing atmosphere and everyone dresses up but vibe at Pitbull is... different. No one cares about looking sexy or Instagram-ready as they are wearing a rubber bald cap and shirt. They are simply there to have a good time - and boy does he pull it off. You don't need therapy. You just need two hours at a Pitbull gig. Wearing a glittering mini-dress, she sang her new single, Type Dangerous, before collecting the Ultimate Icon Award. Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart were also at the event celebrating black entertainers, as was breakout rapper Doechii, who used her Best Female Hip-Hop Artist speech to take aim at Donald Trump for his crackdown on people protesting against immigration raids. The star, who will perform at Glastonbury later this month, said: 'Trump is using military forces to stop a protest. 'I want you all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us. What type of government is that?' PULP HEAD TO GLASTO 16 Jarvis Cocker of Pulp performing on stage Credit: PA GLASTONBURY got fans into a frenzy when organisers announced the full festival line-up, including a mysterious band called Patchwork. Now I can reveal who the band destined for the Saturday Pyramid Stage actually are – as I have been told punters can expect a set from Pulp. Jarvis Cocker and co headlined the festival 30 years ago and last did a surprise set there in 2011. But they are about to return following their comeback with new music. The band are set to top the charts this Friday for the first time in 27 years thanks to their album More, so this will be the perfect way to celebrate. There are also plenty of whispers about surprise Glasto performances from Lewis Capaldi and Haim, so there's lots to look forward to in three weeks' time. But organiser Emily Eavis kept schtum about who Patchwork are when asked about them during the Sidetracked by Glastonbury podcast on BBC Sounds. Speaking to hosts Annie MacManus and Nick Grimshaw, she said: 'I've been working on Patchwork for a long time. I tell you what, pretty much since I saw you this time last year I've been working on Patchwork.' Asked if that meant they took 'a lot of persuading', she added: 'Well, it's more logistical.' Foo Fighters did a set under the name The Churnups in 2023, and this sounds just as exciting. MILEY END TO FAMILY QUARREL 16 Miley Cyrus says she was the one who ended her family fallout Credit: Splash MILEY CYRUS has revealed she was the one to end the family feud following her parents' divorce. On the Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky podcast yesterday, she explained: 'My family and I have had a really difficult, dark decade. 'Half of us weren't speaking to each other at one point. And we cleaned all that up. That was a really important part of my year.' She added: 'I watched what happens when you don't clean things up as they're happening.' Asked if they'd had therapy, Miley said: 'We're so messy. We didn't even do any of that. To get each other in a room to even get to counselling would have been a war. So it was easier to just go, 'white flag'.' Miley, above, has written a song, Secrets, for her next album, about reconnecting with dad Billy Ray. RONNIE'S A PAINT ROLLER 16 Rock great Ronnie Wood shows he's handy with a paintbrush Credit: Getty FANS of Ronnie Wood can get their hands on his new art as he celebrates 50 years as a member of the Rolling Stones. The rock great, who is as handy with a paintbrush as he is with a guitar pick, had his work on display at the band's official store in London's Carnaby Street last week, before putting the items up for sale on his website. The musician's new exhibits include 50 – The Portraits which are hand-finished canvases of Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the band's late, great drummer Charlie Watts. Superfans can also buy an exclusive bundle that includes four portraits and a setlist from Ronnie's first show with the Stones in 1975, along with a limited-edition 7in vinyl single which contains a new recording by Ronnie. MUSE, the best live band I've ever seen in my life, have stepped in at the last minute to replace Kings of Leon as top of the bill for Madrid's Mad Cool Festival. The American rockers were forced to pull out after singer Caleb Followill injured his foot. But British act Muse will headline the opening night on July 10 instead. MICK HUCKNALL will be awarded ASCAP's Golden Note Award as he celebrates Simply Red's 40th anniversary. He will be handed the honour – recognising extraordinary career milestones – at an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers ceremony in London on June 17. Previous winners include George Michael, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Sir Elton John. London singer and songwriter Lola Young will pick up the ASCAP Vanguard Award. Mick, you're my hero.
